“I love buying my little plants from here. I also love supporting a great small business in my area. It is very charming. There is no parking lot but I usually have no problem parking on the street. If you want coffee order it first, and then walk around. The coffee cart can get busy and I've waited like a half hour for my order before.”

Though driving to there, I haven't visited the area post burnt surroundings. Of course I saw the news outlet pictures, but seeing the aftermath just broke my heart. “I have been using Ramy's nursery for about 16 years now , as a landscaper the selection , quality and pricing are second to none , not to mention Tom's knowledge and personability . The fact the plants are grown on site means they are acclimated to the hot valley conditions which cannot be underestimated.”

“Overall I come here very often for materials for my projects. Everyone has always been helpful. Parking is a bit of a struggle with a truck due to tight size. Overall everyone is nice. Looking at other reviews that are negative I have never felt mistreated here. Prices are a bit hire for some things like lumber. But you are in middle of the city. To be honest I could drive further to get my lumber or tools but sometimes it is just convenient.”

“I do really love this place, and I try to support smaller chains over massive corporations like Home Depot and Lowe's.
I'm a HUGE plant collector, and have bought a bunch of plants here, many I've had for years. They have good quality plants, and knowledgeable staff.
While I'd love to give them 5 stars, they have a wonky return policy that isn't written anywhere or disclosed at the time of purchase.
I recently bought a hydrangea, that lasted all of two weeks, and I did EVERYTHING I could to keep her happy. They cost about $35, which isn't much, but I brought it back for advice and to possibly exchange it for something more durable.
The cashier asked me a few questions, and confirmed I didn't really do anything wrong, and essentially said they were just dramatic plants. When I asked if I could return it, he said this store had a policy about not issuing refunds or store credit specifically for hydrangeas because of their failure rate. I asked why this wasn't disclosed at purchase, and he just shrugged.
I went on to spend another $150 on new plants, but I left questioning my loyalty to this store, and will likely look to other nurseries in the future.”
