“I have to show love and support to this shop. I don't get to do much one piece locals as much anymore, but its always a great vibe when they host them. Its definitely a small shop, but they cater to their customers. Its definitely cool to see how the workers allow kids and parents enjoy their moments of collecting cards together. “Looks smaller from the outside than it actually is. They have a decent selection of older magic and yugioh cards. Awesome comic selection. Older and newer issues. The Asian dude behind the register was saying he’s fairly new to comics but he definitely isn’t new to customer service. A+. He sold me on the sentry comics and even recommended that I give the new avengers a read. The area behind the register is a mess with a bunch of boxes and random figures. Other than that, it’s a cool little spot.”

“like i was saying ive been coming here for years and dont even remember when i first found it it’s just one of those places you keep going back to because it feels righht everytime. the coffee is consistently good which is hard to find and the staff actually remembers your order if you come a couple times teh breakfast burrito is my go to and ive never had a bad one. sometimes i bring freinds here and they always end up asking to come back the next week so i guess that says enough. its not fancy or anyhting but it just works for me i dunno i feel at home here. ill probably be back tommorrow for the same thing”

“1st time here. Small little Hobby shop stocked with plenty of name brand parts and accessories for your RC needs. Traxxas, Associated and others. The guy behind the counter was nice, got my part and sent me on my way. It looked like he was working on an RC vehicle so maybe they do repairs. I'll definitely be going back. “This is my all time favorite soccer store! The store itself carries an ambiance of professionalism and uniqueness. They have so much variety, everything from original jerseys to jackets and shoes! This is my go to place when am looking for soccer gear. Their prices are far better than any other nearby soccer stores. They have the best customer service and I can see that they have a strong dedication for their customers. You can really tell that they have a strong passion for sports and really know about the soccer community. They also carry a cool selection of hobby accessories such as plastic and die-cast collectible models. Definitely will be going back, again and again, very soon!”

“I stopped by OG Collectibles in Downey the other day and honestly, it was a really good experience. The shop is clean and well-organized, which makes a big difference when you’re digging through cards. They’ve got a strong mix of stuff: current Pokémon and Magic sets, plenty of sealed product, a decent vintage section, singles in binders, some sports cards, and even a bunch of Funko Pops lined up.
The guy working there (long hair, laid-back vibe) was helpful without being over-the-top. He didn’t hover, but when I asked about a couple specific cards I’ve been looking for, he actually checked the back and came out with them. No pressure to buy, just straightforward. The woman behind the counter was friendly too, answered my questions about grading and pricing without making me feel like a total newbie.
Prices seemed reasonable for the area, nothing crazy inflated like some spots in LA, and better than what I’ve seen online for certain things after fees and shipping. I ended up grabbing a few singles and a booster pack, spent more than I planned but walked out happy with what I got.
It’s a legit, no-nonsense collectibles shop with a chill atmosphere. If you’re in the Downey area and into cards or pops, it’s definitely worth checking out. I’ll probably swing by again next time I’m nearby.

“Very empty arcade. Operates on a card system where you add money on a card to play games and I really like their pool table. Spaced out good and seating too. Only 5 bucks to rent the table for 45 mins on weekdays, unsure if it's different on weekends.”

There were aisles full of model cars, model planes, tanks, and much more! Collect Transformers or Marilyn Monroe items? This is your place! Easy parking makes it even more appealing!”

“I’ve bought quite a few cards here over the past few months. My experiences have been pretty good overall. I’ve purchased cards a few times here and have always been willing to do a deal with me / price favorably within condition. There was a Charizard that was questionable as to whether it would condition as damaged or HP. They probably could have tried to say HP (& I wouldn’t have bought it) but they agreed that it was damaged so I paid damaged price for it. Shoutout to the guy Jesús for being reasonable and accurate with his conditioning. Overall, I’ve enjoyed coming here and I’ll continue being a customer in the future.”
