“Incredibly nice and helpful staff. They take the time to answer any questions that you have and to explain the necessary care after the treatment. Took 2 male cats and 1 male dog, all 3 came back fine no problems whatsoever. Highly recommend”

“Had a great experience. Took my dog in for surgery from a bad cut. The surgery was affordable and in my budget. I definitely will go back for any more services that my dog may need in the future. I recommend this place.”

“I’m working with a rescue and a foster dog who has had some issues that weren’t diagnosed by another vet after numerous visits. Dr Novy is not only the most competent vet I’ve seen, he’s also pleasant and his entire staff is wonderful. Can’t recommend this place more.”

“I want to counteract the one star review left in the Fall of 2023. Dr. Spitzer was just at my house this afternoon to put down our senior dog via Lap of Love. She was wonderful. I met her outside at her car, and we talked a little bit about the decision before she came in and I was able to tell her some details about Rocket. We talked more with her as a family when she came inside. At no point did we feel rushed or that she wasn’t completely gentle with him. She explained everything she was going to do before doing it and then again before she did each step. She was talking to him throughout and she also paid attention to our other dog who was curious/stressed and growling at her. (He stopped growling the minute Rocket passed). I felt the service was excellent and exactly what I had envisioned. At no point did Rocket appear stressed or worried about what was happening.”

“Since we relocated to Simi 7 years ago, we have patronized Park, exclusively. As the doctors' and support staff have evolved, so has the veterinary industry changed, and Park is always aware of new care protocols that help our furry partners stay healthy and happy. We would have absolutely no reason to go anywhere else.Park cares about their patients- one can see it in their eyes.A fine business.David and Debbie Blaine”

“This place is clean and organized. The employees are polite and competent and to top it all off their very easy to do business with. My dog gets his nails trimmed there and they always do a good job and it takes almost no time.”

“I have been taking my adopted dog, Gracie there since the beginning and they have been very nice, professional, and helpful. The only thing I can complain about is the cost of everything. Her special meds are very costly.”

“We wanted a second opinion for our Havanese with chronic bloody stools and vomiting . We were told by his previous vet he has colitis. The little guy has struggled with this on and off for over three years but just recently, it was getting more frequent and extremely scary!! After forking our almost $900.00 for an office visit, medications, and being told it could be Colitis and IBS - pancreatitis was ruled out by a blood test - the bloody stools still continued. I found recommendations for Dr. Novy on the Nextdoor App. As with any change, we were skeptical!! However, we found Dr. Novy to be caring, empathetic and knowledgeable! We stopped all the previous medications, Sucralfate, Pepcid and metronidazole to following Dr. Novy's prescriptions and suggestions. Our little guy is doing so much better!! It's been almost a month without any bloody stools! We went from losing hope to enjoying our little guy's bouncing back to his old self each day. Most importantly, Dr. Novy kept tabs on our little guy's progress everyday!! Yes, everyday he wanted us to call in to check in and didn't hesitate at all to answer all of my d*** questions without judgment!! One evening, about 7 PM, I received a call which showed Valley Vet. I just assumed an employee was calling to check up on our little guy. I was shocked it was Dr. Novy himself!!! Thank you Dr. Novy!! Additionally, a quick shout out to the staff!! Thanks for always handling my panicked calls - yes calls - several a day - with so much professionalism and patience!! To top it off, we received a - Thank you - Card for having selected them to be our Vet!! Very classy!”

“Honestly, I don't understand some of the negative reviews here. It's interesting that the people who claim to have been treated "rudely" in this clinic sound not only coarse, bad-mannered, but they write with more contempt than most reviews I've read anywhere. It must be ignorance. The ignorant few who have no idea how hard veterinarians and their assistants work - especially in this clinic.”

“Dr Stirewall is a terrific dr for your fur babies. She has ALWAYS shown concern, consideration and competency for my dogs. Never let's me down and I own breeds that have a lot of issues.Definitely a great vet with an awesome office staff.I've notice three other reviewers complain about Dr. Stirewald being racist....That is a bold face lie. I don't know what agenda these three individuals have, but it is not even close to being the truth.”

“I am a dog rescuer and also have my own dogs. I have used Dr. Sherif over many years and have been VERY happy. I feel he is smart and cares...and the pricing has been fair enough. So for those visits, I'd give him 5 stars. I also want to share one not so good story where I would give no stars. Our dog was limping on her back legs so we took her to Dr. Sherif. Dr. Sherif doesn't do knee surgery but they liaison with an orthopedic surgeon who looked at the x-rays and told us our dog absolutely needed surgery on both knees for a cost of $10,000. We decided to get a second opinion, which was the same. We decided, before moving forward, to visit a Dr. Raviv Balfour at VCA Animal Specialty in West LA. Dr. Balfour said yes, our dog does have 2 torn ACL's but the surgery may not be necessary. He suggested we try Medicam, an anti-inflammatory, for a month or so and see how she responds. Within a few weeks, our dog completely stopped limping and has not limped since, and that was about 2 years ago. Getting a third opinion saved us $10k and saved our dog an enormous amount of pain and suffering. Bottom line, if you are told your dog needs a big surgery, and you aren't sure, get more opinions!!!”
