“If you want compassionate, reliable, affordable care for your cat, The Cat Doctor in Thousand Oaks is your place. They took such good care of my sweet, almost 20 year old cat Coco, and I, in the last year of her life. The wonderful Dr. Cody helped me manage her kidney disease and hyperthyroidism with medication and a prescription diet. It worked well for about 10 months but then her condition declined. We did an IV bag for a bit and took other measures but she stopped eating, not even her treats, lacked energy and was stumbling. So when it was time to make the hardest decision a pet’s human companion has to make, they took care of us in the end too. On the day of, Drew (front desk person) was especially kind to share his decision to put his own 15 year old pet down, which was helpful because it’s a huge responsibility to make this choice, albeit a humane one. They made it as pain-free as something so painful could be. I’m so grateful for this little country like office and for the kind people who work there (Thank you so much Dr. Cody, Christine, Drew, Amaya, Sarah, Theresa and others for the TLC). July 29, 2026”

“My teenage daughter and I had an emergency with our pet rabbit, Flopsy. She was acting very strangely and struggling to breathe, repeatedly lifting her head to catch her breath. I called several veterinary clinics, and NP Veterinary Clinic was the only one that agreed to see us immediately.
Tragically, our beloved bunny took her last breath in my daughter's arms in the exam room. We were both in complete shock and broke down crying in disbelief. The entire staff at NP Veterinary Clinic comforted us during one of the most heartbreaking moments we've ever experienced. They made sure Flopsy was no longer suffering, and everyone treated us with incredible compassion, kindness, and patience.
They even gave us a discount on the visit, which was deeply appreciated. They carefully wrapped Flopsy with dignity and placed her in a box so we could bring her home to bury in our backyard.
A few days later, we received a sympathy card signed by the entire team. That thoughtful gesture meant so much to us.
Although losing Flopsy was incredibly painful, we will always remember the kindness and compassion we received from everyone at NP Veterinary Clinic. We strongly recommend this wonderful team to anyone who needs caring veterinary service for their beloved pets.”

“Took the pooch for follow up ear evaluation. The doc fixed pooch up with ear gunk and another shot in addition to take home meds. Darn pooch and them ears, yearly infection. Made another appointment to get pooches teeth cleaned as well. Chick Ching you know but pooch is a an expensive friend to have around.”

“The employees are all very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their products. We do not feed our dogs low quality food as they are on a special diet for their age and health concerns and Petco prices on what we feed them is priced along the line of any other place who sells it (online or in stores). I would hate to see this store closed. Most of the groomers who have done our dogs are great and love pets. My only complaint would be the groomers we really love seem to move on after 6-12 months.”

“We've been getting our dog groomed at this location for a few years now, and they have a knack for hiring really caring and awesome grooming staff. The people in the grooming dept are always so sweet with my 13 year old pup, and are gentle with her, too. She has longer quicks on her nails and her nails are dark, so always a pain to trim. They always do a great job with the grinder and she's never bleeding (unlike some other places I've been locally) when we pick her up. She doesn't love baths in general, but they make it the least stressful it can be.”
