“I found a new favorite shop in Solana Beach. I live in the area and was on an evening walk. What caught my eye was a mixture of everything I love; original art work, quality clothes, accessories and jewelry, all at reasonable prices. I wear scarves when I walk. It's hard to find silk scarves. Reine had several on display and when I felt them they were very soft and featherlight. She had a beautiful selection with a variety of designs and colors. I found my favorite and immediately purchased it. As I waited I wandered over into the art gallery. I was transported! Michael's work is exquisite. He can paint or draw ANYTHING! Reine is just as talented in design. They make an awesome couple! Both of them were so free to explain their artwork and share their lives. I'll be looking for a new special piece of artwork. I wandered back into the clothing section and was surprised to find of pair of jeans... and they fit and made me look good. ? Both the scarf and the jeans were reasonably priced. It started to get dark and I had a 2 mile walk home. Because it was late, Michael offered to drive me home. He drove me in his beautiful car right to my front door with my little package. Now that's what I call service. I've been back again, but I can't wait for my next visit and take my time perusing the beautiful merchandise. Oh, they have beautiful leather work too. And the artwork is always changing. Please stop in and support Michael and Reine. I know you will love what you see and their warm hospitality. “Some really tremendous pieces! I like all of the pieces, both old and new, from far off places, but I LOVE the original tables that they make on-site. Some of the wood slabs are just mind blowing. The people are super friendly, and happy to either leave you alone to wander around the museum-like store, or answer all of your questions- whichever you prefer. Cool cool spot!”

“I walk past Madison Gallery twice a week and decided to stop in last week. I'm always a little leery of going into art galleries because I feel like the staff will be annoyed and or judge-y with me for treating their storefront like a museum. Like going to a car showroom with zero intention of buying, right?But Madison Gallery was both beautifully curated and very welcoming. I chatted with the two ladies at the front desk about the artists and exhibits and they were super kind and friendly and I didn't feel any hint of You Are Wasting Our Time, Youngling from them. MG seems like a high-quality gallery, with pieces being purchased fairly often, so there's always something new to see, especially as they mentioned they have a new featured artist every 6-8 weeks.If you're in the market for art, or even if you're not, I recommend stopping by.”
