“Thank you Guru Tattoo, Pacific Beach!! My daughter and I came to visit SD from Florida for a long weekend and wanted to get a tattoo together. Morgan greeted us and was awesome to talk to about her experiences! Lorenzo did my tattoo and put his own touches to it. He’s a quiet, soft spoken professional and I appreciate it! Kenny did my daughters and was so great to her! Thank you again, we’ll be back!!”

“Love this shop!! I come here to get my vintage one of a kind pieces and super cute jewelry!! The owner is so nice and very artistic. Her style is one of a kind and I love her ceramic painted hanging cowgirl wall accessories! She also hand picks the coolest jeans and has cool T’s. The art in there is so cool and have bought several pieces myself to furnish my home and give it some artistic and unique flare!”

“Sparks Gallery is located in a charming downtown area perfect for walking and making a day of the visit. Sparks is open, inviting, and full of character. The staff are friendly and engaging people. Sparks is currently displaying dozens of pieces by various high quality local artists. The art was pleasant and fresh. Art was lit and displayed beautifully. Not to mention a VERY cute little gift shop. I had the pleasure of meeting gallery owner Sonya in my artist portfolio review session with her. Sonya is professional, knowledgeable, and kind. I am looking forward going back and attending events and art openings!”

“Experts with integrity. We had something small go wrong with our project, and Micky went so far to make things right. I was blown away - it's the type of customer service and experience you rarely see. We're really happy with our framed art and will be back for sure.”

“We stumbled upon their class schedule posted up outside the Icarus Creative Arts store while strolling through the village during the Friday night summer art walk. Luckily my friend took a photo of the class that was being offered on my birthday or I would have not been able to locate the information to reference when reserving our class seats. The class schedule for this specific store can be difficult to locate when searching on the Bernardo Winery website because Icarus Creative Arts is a separate website so I have included the link below for convenience. This is also included on the BW website but can get confusing with all the different shops if you aren't a regular here. I would recommend just calling them with any questions you may have if you are not very internet savy! Class Schedule Link; They offer a wide variety of different types of art classes but we came for the acrylic painting of an aurora borealis. Class began at 5:30 PM so we were able to hear the live music start playing shortly afterwards as we painted. We had a male teacher who did a great job of going around the room directing everyone on what can be done to improve their painting without offending anyone. Class moves forward at a quick pace so if you need further direction you have to ask more questions but he was very helpful and gave lots of feedback on the little details! My only complaint was the servers attitude at the tasting room when we went to redeem our glasses of wine that came "free" with the class. Both times different servers made a statement with a negative connotation about giving away "free" glasses of wine which took away part of the fun and was sort of a buzz kill. We paid $45 per person for a WINE AND PAINT night so I believe we deserve these complimmenaty glasses of wine that are included in the class thank you ladies! Other than that, the end result of the paintings all came out so beautifully! It's also fun for those wandering the Friday night art walk to stop in and admire everyone's work and how each piece is unique and comes out differently. I would definitely reccomend comming here if you are in the mood to get your creative juices flowing! It is nice to let go of your inhibitions & learn how to just enjoy the process of having fun creating art!”

“I lost of cat at 19. I've never been a fan of tattoos that anyone could see; however, I felt the need to keep my kitty close. I reached out to Left Hand Black, and Stevie went above and beyond. He added the angel wings, and he even shaded the tattoo to look like her. I positioned the tattoo opposite of the "norm," but Stevie said, "The tattoo is for you and no-one else." Go see Stevie -- I will be back!”

“This is such an adorable boutique and healing spa! I love the energy in this space and Nicole's calm, grounding presence. I've scored some awesome locally handmade jewelry, wall art, and lovely essential oil blends there. Recently, I received the 90 minute Magic Carpet Ride treatment and it helped me tremendously to feel more grounded and connected to source. I love going there, especially when I'm in a transitional or stressful time such as with a relationship change, starting a new job, or when there was a death in my family.”

“Mission Gallery is one of the few antique stores on the west coast carrying genuine antique furniture, art and decorative art. This is not a vintage shop where you will find discounts or a warehouse with multiples. This is a store specializing in the rare, unique and beautiful. The owners (Jim and Randy) deal in authentic, one-of-a-kind pieces. They have a large selection of early American pieces but an even larger number of "Continental" (European) items and some Southeast Asian articles. You can also find a broad selection of jewelry, watches, and English and American silver and flatware. The owners might be described as eccentric, but they are passionate about antiques and generous with their time. And if you can spare the time, Randy has a story attached to every article in the store and is especially fond of sharing his experiences. You'll need to make an appointment to visit Mission Gallery, but I promise it will be well worth the effort!”

“Amazing gallery in San Diego! The art showcased here is phenomenal. The best part is that the proceeds are donated to charitable causes. If you're in need of incredible art for your home and office, I highly recommend a visit.”

“I love Good Faith Gallery. I missed Kusama's Infinity Room because I didn't get to make a reservation once we got in, and now it's closed. At the time, you couldn't reserve a spot to the Infinity Room until you arrived at the museum and reserved your spot at a kiosk inside. Still loved everything I saw. Went to Grand Central Market and Angel's Flight afterwards. Probably my favorite museum in LA.”
