These Adirondack chairs are really well made, and very comfortable to sit in... and they look great!

Steve and Heritage Furniture are amazing! We have purchased two Adirondack chairs with foot stools, a table, and the two seat Adirondack as well. The quality of the construction is superior. And the price point for handcrafted furniture, in my opinion, is worth every penny. Thank you for excellent quality furniture we will be using for a lifetime!

Stephen is an artist when it comes to the making of the Adirondack chairs. I especially like the small round side table that he makes to match the chairs. He’s got a great store here in Sonoma and you can watch him make the chairs. He also offers a wine glass holder that slips on to the arm of the chairs…perfect for the wine country. I highly recommend Heritage Furniture!

After the chairs I was promised in 3 weeks were finally delivered after 2 months, I waited another 3 weeks for the table, which was damaged and needed to be returned. 3 weeks later the damaged table was delivered but the damage was only partially repaired. Over the course of almost 4 months, I was given excuse after excuse, including that "other clients that have waited 3 months...understand and are honored to receive... furniture." When I finally mentioned writing a review about my experience, Steve refunded my order saying my owning the chairs "was an insult to (his) family."

Beautiful furniture by Steve Calhoun. His family has been making Adirondack chairs for three generations in Maine and he's brought his family tradition to Sonoma and how lucky we are.Steve built me a custom red Adirondack - yes, each chair is custom, but this one is extra short! I'm under 5 feet tall and this chair is absolutely perfect for my happy hour bev or relaxing in my backyard with a good book. Unlike standard Adirondack chairs, I can actually get in and out of this one easily (if you are tall, you won't! Ha!). An heirloom piece, that is for sure.If you want a true piece of history and craftsmanship, stop by Heritage Furniture and procure your Adirondack chair - or other outdoor/indoor furnishings and art (they also have goods from other local artisans). You will not regret it.
