I get to Sonoma once or twice a year and Potter Green is a must stop for me. The shop is a feast for the eyes. The merchandise is eclectic and you will find many things you will not see elsewhere. Yes, much of it is pricey, but I can always find a manageable splurge. The proprietors are very nice and don't mind browsers.

Love this place! As a gardener, it's a must for tools and art. But my surprise was the clothing. Cornerstone has a lot to offer. A quiet enclave of shops, garden vunues to walk around and a good restaurant.

Do you have a "drunk uncle" with a ton of old money? This is where he would shop after downing a few bottles of wine in Sonoma. You can spend $4000 on a plaster dog (see my photos) Now on the upside they do have some rare and hard to find local heirloom beans (food), which I wanted to purchase. But I was never able to find a cash register to check out with them. Weird store. Bring lots of money.

This is a wonderful store. Nina and Tom are warm and helpful people, and they offer a well-balanced and lively space--full of beautiful things for really humane prices. I love taking guests there.

Incredible store! I'd move right in if they'd let me. All kinds of beautiful, handcrafted items both large and small for home and garden.... incredible-gigantic ethereal wind chimes, lovely fountains, fire pits, gardening tools, a great selection of books, bird and bee houses, local art, clothing, hats, etc etc etc. love love love!!!! Bonus: the dog.

Potter Green&Co has quite the variety, from Fair Trade handicrafts to gardening books, enormous wind chimes, and various vinegars&oils. The owner is a friendly hippie kind of guy, with a resident dog wandering the place. He's cheerful&unpretentious, even if the merchandise is pricey. Potter Green fits right in with Cornerstone Gardens.

This is an absolutely delightful little home and garden shop in Cornerstone Sonoma's retail area. They've got quite a bit of nature inspired original art that is on the pricier side but also quite a number of affordable items such as local honey, candles, soap and small pottery. The highlight of this shop, for me, are the small glass chips you can buy by the pound. They make wonderful decorative pieces for garden borders, pots and clear bowls. They sell it for $3.00 a pound and come in an array of sapphire blue, yellow, green and some lovely red chips. I ended up buying about 4 pounds of it and can't wait to find some creative way to use it in my garden displays. I meant to buy some honey but got so excited about the glass that I forgot to grab some before I left (: Super friendly owner (or staff, although she seemed to have obvious pride in the shop, so pegged her as the owner.) Great little stop and worth a look if you're in the area!

Stopping at Potter Green is a must anytime you are in Sonoma. I love all the unique gifts, furniture and garden items. I could browse for hours. I read the other reviews and i have never had any issues with sales people or staff. Perhaps the owner is new or has new staff. It is definitely a great place to get design ideas for your garden.

This is my favorite place in the North Bay area for all sorts of wonderful things for the home and garden. The guy who works at the store is not actually the Manager and, contrary to what Denise writes, I've never heard him be rude or unpleasant. The owner, Nina, is a wonderful woman and incredibly creative + very helpful and friendly. And, she is there most days.

I was at Potter Green recently and found Tom to be very congenial and helpful, and not at all strange or inappropriate in any way. (I'm an attractive single blonde.) I think he's extremely creative and interesting. Love that store! Beautiful one-of-a-kind artistic items and the chimes are fabulous!

What a fantastic store! It has great pots and other miscellaneous supplies. The oversized wind chimes beg for you to touch them and their outdoor displays are truly magnificent. Part of John Greenlee's collection... grasses use a fraction of water that traditional turf lawns use. A great addition to Cornerstone Sonoma and a must stop in Sonoma.
