I was really disappointed to hear how the person in the print department today, April 13, 2024, responded to a woman waiting for help to use a printer. She was waiting patiently when I got there. When he had finished with another customer, he told her he had a few other things to do and walked away. Not in a nice way, smile, sorry, I'll be right back, kind of way. She finally left. And then I heard him talk on for quite a while with another employee about how he didn't care if he got written up...... I guess those other things he had to do weren't so important.

Very small, which means extremely limited selection. Go to Petaluma store for better options. Also, the customer service here is lacking, especially the dark-haired woman working the register at 1:15pm on Tues 3/5 (cashier #2022504, in case the manager is reading these reviews). She's apathetic and barely answers questions, just responded with "yeah..." when I pointed out an issue with their payment machine rushing through the receipt options. I wasn't able to select my preferred option, which is email receipt, so she handed me a paper one. "Yeah..."?? She also did not tell me until it was too late that discounts are not automatically applied when you enter your rewards phone number. You have to open their app. The last time I was here about a month ago, the cashier told me that they were updating the system, and in "a couple weeks" it would automatically apply rewards when you enter your phone number. It doesn't.

I went here on last Sunday 2/25/24 and it was like dealing with a bunch of high schoolers! Upon entering the store they were all huddled laughing and goofing around and couldn't be bothered! I asked them where I could find film for my daughter's new Polaroid camera and they finally pointed to a region of the store so I asked them if they wouldn't mind walking me over to find the right one as this was my first time buying this.But they all said that they didn't know either!!!! I asked everyone and they all said they didn't know anything and no manager available! So I just spoke with Store Manager Javier and he said sorry for the inconvenience. But honestly how ridiculous! Can't they at least know what products they are selling?? Am I supposed to do your job too? And extremely lazy too! NEVER AGAIN HERE!!!

The print manager that worked Saturday and Sunday 9/9/23 and 9/10/23 was rude, and unable to complete jobs in a timely fashion. I went in person, I said ok... so than Ill come back tomorrow, he said im not guaranteeing anything do what you want... WTH?? I have used the staples print request many times and never had to wait days for someone to simply take 3 minutes to open an email and press print, the ladies and staff are always friendly and quick. Nothing fancy just plain color pictures on plain white paper. Its now the next day and I call at nearly 3pm to see if it's ready having sent it prior to 2pm the day prior , a lady answer's said she'd transfer me, gets back on the phone to say he's too busy to answer you. I asked can you just ask if he's had a chance to open my order yet she said listen you have 2 options.. I hung up... this is ridiculous service! What are you the mob to give me 2 options? In a tone as if you are threatening me.. this guy needs to find himself a job that brings him joy and the lady who answered the phone on Sunday needs to get written up and taught a course on phone ethics and customer service.

I recently moved to Sonoma. I have dealt with Staples all over the country. The customer service is horrible. I complained to the manager and he couldn't care less. Guess in a small town they can get away with it.

Always greeted when I walk in and the reproductions counter has is always very helpful. Really like that they take UPS as well. Have used that a ton!!

EVERYONE at this store is pleasant and helpful EVERY time I come in. Starting with a greeting at the door, to guidance finding products to a good-bye as you leave. Special "Shout Out" to Lydia in Print who is a rare combination of friendliness, efficiency and smarts.

I bought a new printer here..when I opened the box at home I found that the power cord was missing..I returned next day and was given a new printer and a new receipt (which is needed for the 2 week return window)..no hassle..of course my return to the store afforded the opportunity to purchase an insurance policy which I hadn't done originally..so..now I am good for 4 years even if my printer fails..(which I am told it might because printers now are complicated and fragile)..the employee helped me download an app that offered a discount so I have 4 years of protection at the price of 2..I feel that he went the extra mile for me..and I totally appreciate this and so will you.

Do not get passport photos here, operator doesn't understand how to produce a photo that matches government standard guidelines and had no knowledge to adjust camera settings adequality. Image was so dark you couldn't see the color of the eyes, face completely in shadow, upper half of the head was cropped off. When I pointed out image was too dark and cropped, the answer was "I am following procedure" and "that's how they come out". He tried a second time and it was even more dark, he cropped it manually so head would fit but image was unusable because too dark and blurry. So I had to go to Ups store and they did a great job with a clear, bright, full head photo. I wasted my money at Staples.

Love these people & this place! All the staff have been incredibly kind & helpful, every time I've been here! i tend to ask many questions (to figure stuff out); each team-person has been patient, supportive, & even helped me brainstorm. i've used copy machines, printer, shredding services; i've bought machines, office supplies etc. If they didn't have an item I was seeking, they suggested how I might find elsewhere. I've come on my bike & asked them to "save" purchased large items for me (twice), til friend could pick it up in car. They are always amenable. {Notice a couple reviews from last year mention "less-enjoyable" experience w/ team .... I can't speak for those sitch's. But... given the last 2 years found tons of businesses stressed & under-staffed (w/ bare-min-numbers of workers feeling understandably harried, over-worked, strained & exhausted), I imagine this may have been in play ?? So... Here's hoping we all can be patient with each other and ourselves, through such times...!}

Incredibly rude team. I walked in and waited...and waited...and waited...no one was around to help. And when I did go ask a team member for help they literally just walked away and said nothing. Tried again with another team member...same thing. What a terrible experience. Don't waste your time here.

A lovely young woman named Sarah was so kind and helpful tonight that I just wanted to give her a shout out. I came in late with a Roku remote that wasn't working and she gave me a very good deal on a new one (which it turned out I didn't need ), but mainly her patience and kindness towards an obviously upset non techie was really appreciated.

I've used the Print and Copy Services at Sonoma Staples for several years now. Every single employee in that department is consistently polite, helpful and gets the job done when they say they will. I appreciate having such great service so nearby!
