Kennedy Meadows Resort & Packstation is a favorite spot for campers and hikers. The resort offers a friendly and helpful staff, a store and restaurant with fair pricing, great food, and a great selection of beer in single cans, perfect for hikers and nearby campers. Amenities include laundry, showers, and a beautiful location along a river. The shuttle service is reliable, run by long‑time employees. Rooms are rustic, plain wood dorms in the main building are comfortable, and the resort is pet friendly. Nearby activities include horse back riding, fishing on the Stanislaus River, hiking to the relief reservoir, and bow hunting. The bar, soft‑serve, and coffee add to the pleasant break. Service is consistently excellent, making it a top destination.
The views are amazing, the location on the river is great.

Dawn and Joan were so helpful and accommodating during our stay. Kennedy Meadows is such a special place, the saloon is SO fun and the restaurant is amazing, we can’t wait to come back!
