“I used to go to Dhorty tires wanted to keep it local been buying tires there for years. Got a flat once they charged 20 bucks, ok cool. Got another flat on a Sunday, they were closed. Went over to Les Schwab down the road, guy walked out helped me out before I even got through the front door, how much will be? I asked. No charge. I needed my brakes looked at, went to the Ford dealership where I bought my truck to ask a few questions maybe make an appointment. And this is where they lost me and why I will no longer buy vehicles there, The receptionist at the front desk hands me a desk phone and tells me to make an appointment. Frustrated I drove down the road and went to Les Schwab, again guy walks out inspects it, orders the parts and asks me to come in the next morning. The service at this shop is second to none in Sonora, I know lots of us want to "keep it local" but remember the county approved this business, the guys that work there live and pay taxes here in TUCO. Now I save time and go to les Schwab first thing.”

“You will not find a better tire shop period. Have been buying tires from Doherty for around 30 years and there is no comparison. Joe and Mike have been great to me over the years. This shop employees a "pit crew" that is always super fast in and out have saved me hours of time. The prices are great, they will order you what you want instead of what they have. I was out of town recently and Mike helped me with my daughters car even though there was nothing in it for him. Five star business and its always been that way.”

“If I could give 10 out of 5 stars, I would!My husband and I called Auto Tech (spoke to Hal) and were desperate for mechanical help. Our truck broke down while were 160 miles out of town in Sonora, while on our way to our first solo backpacking trip since our daughter was born (4 years prior). I had called several other mechanics in town and no one else would even give us the time of day; said they were booked out a couple weeks at least. When I called Auto Tech, Hal said they would fit us in. They worked on our truck all day and Vinnie, (our amazing mechanic) truly went above and beyond. When the auto parts store was going to close and had failed to deliver a crucial part for our truck, Vinnie personally drove there to get us the part. And then he stayed late to make sure the truck was fixed and safe for us to drive. Cost was also reasonable and quality and safety were their top priority. Both my husband and I truly can't thank them enough. They went above and beyond and their kindness made our weekend!It is businesses like Auto Tech, and the amazing people that work there that truly make this world a better place. Thank you again!”
