“These guys are awesome!! Got a transmission fluid change and also asked for a check on a mysterious clunk that would occur when moving from a dead stop. They identified the issue immediately with a test drive and updated me with a lesser repair cost than what was expected. All in all, you will not find the same expertise they provide at the cost they charge. I had called a few other places in San Jose and Santa Cruz for price comparisons beforehand. I got my truck back in fantastic shape without draining my wallet, highly recommend this shop!!”

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Water Star Motors in Santa Cruz. During one of the most stressful and uncertain times, they treated me with kindness, generosity, and genuine compassion.
They absolutely did not have to help me, but they chose to. They went above and beyond to reassure me, work with me, and make an incredibly difficult situation feel a little less scary. And even now, they’re still helping and looking out for me.

“Lovely shop! Quite clean. Friendly staff. The woman at the front desk I believe it was Jennifer was very welcoming. Lots of amenities for a garage. (WiFi, snacks, waters, etc). I most appreciated the snacks for my children who came along to pick my car up, the staff was kind to them offering them stickers and snacks(they’re favorite was the candy, of course?) I love how it’s a small local business where everyone knows your name. I also thought it was sweet the whole family working together.
