“I was way too excited to look at their large selection that I completely forgot to take pictures! Absolutely love their wide range of plants. They have flowers, fruit trees, succulents, indoor plants and trees, bonsais and Im sure a ton more that we didnt look at. We came mostly to look for some indoor houseplants and left with 3! I have never owned any plants so I was completely clueless in what would be a good starter plant. Thankfully when you check out, the cashiers will tell you more about the plants and how to care for them. Granted the guy explaining to us wasnt very clear, but you get a gist of it. They have their own parking lot and carts to help with carrying all the plants you plan to get. I wish I could leave more helpful tips but I have no green thumb experience to give or compare”

Little small cute nursery tucked in Pasadena that has been passed down from generations before. Japanese owned by cousins. Don't expect a big fancy facility. Think small, family size, run down with character and many generations of love. Some of their David Austins: Strawberry Hill, Claire Austin, Teasing Georgia, Tranquility, Queen of Sweden, Mary Rose, Princess Alexandria of Kent, Crown Princess Margareta, Tess of the d'Urbervilles, Olivia Rose, Charles Darwin, Carding Mill (tree form), Charlotte Rose, and many many more! They have an ENTIRE SECTION just for these beauties! 15 of my DAs are from here because they have the best price and best customer service! One of the owners, Dale, is so kind, helpful and knowledgable. He spends his time explaining everything and answering all my questions. He's very generous to even help us to the car. I left my number with Dale so when and if he gets more DAs, he will call me. What a great guy, right!?! That's what I call good customer service! I love this place and keep on coming back because it's family owned, kind owners, unbeatable prices, and willing to share their knowledge and wisedom. 100% recommend this gem!”

“In 2006, l purchased a portable Honda generator from this company. Over time the unit, began exhibiting hard-starting issues as a result of poor upkeep maintenance on my part. It finally stopped operating about (4) years ago.Last week, after years of just sitting in my hangar, l was going to discard the unit. Prior to discard, last week, l decided to give Garvey Equipment a call to determine if it was possible to salvage my unit. Garvey staff, George, advised that after listening to my situation, that in his opinion my old generator could be repaired.As such, l took the generator to Garvey, and in two days, George called and reported my unit was serviced and ready for pickup.I found both George and John (owner) quite cordial & professional.Their professional services & courtesy saved me the price of buying a new unit.”

“It's a nice little place to buy bonsai supplies! I have personally only bought pots here, but I browsed and saw what's available. Note that they only accept credit cards for large purchases. So you'll have to use Venmo or pay cash if you are only buying a few inexpensive items.”
“Drove up to the Monterey Park Costco Shopping Center hoping to go to the Home Depot for some succulent soil for a succulent display we are doing in our front yard. The traffic in that parking lot was horrendous, turned right around. I noticed a lot of nurseries are closed on a Saturday morning, but this one was open! Called up this nursery to inquire about soil and received a prompt answer. We walked onto the nursery and were looking at the soil when an employee walked up to us to help us choose soil. She began lifting up soil onto a cart. She brought the soil to and loaded it into our car. She was incredibly helpful! We walked away with a few more succulents and I looked over their houseplant selection. The plants overall look healthy here and are appropriately priced! Definitely go here if you'd like to support a local business, I'm glad we did!”
