“I had no idea what to look for in paint and had zero knowledge in paint. When I went into the store, I felt so confused, so I made an appointment with the paint specialist, Damien, and he was exceptional! He helped me a lot with the colors, but he did not just think about the colors but also the practicality of the paint for each space such as if a smaller room would benefit with different color or tone or how easy it would be to clean the wall for high traffic areas, etc. He also was very informative on the types of paint needed for each space and was really good at helping me decide when I was unsure. His customer service was also great! I really felt empowered with the information he gave and guided throughout the entire process!

Usually, I'm a independent auto & motorcycle mechanic, but I had this odd job to do a touch-up paint job for my client's car and needed to get it right on the first try. The counter person was very helpful and knowledgeable, assisting me with this task. He taught me various professional tips to do it right in such a short period of time. After seeing my finished result with the challenging rattling spray can painting method painting and advanced clear coating blending , he essentially made me a professional car painter in just 10 minutes!??
The color match mixing technician in the back room was unbelievably professional—A true maestro of color mixing champion ?. The spray can I received was a perfect match to the T !

“I went to this location with little expectation of getting my questions answered because I was certain I had irreversibly messed up my apartment walls by retouching spots with the wrong kind of paint. I had the right color, but was using an egg shell paint on a flat painted surface...which I didn't notice until I had retouched the entire townhouse before realizing that it was drying with a shine instead of flat. I had covered all our walls with these shiny spots and it looked horrible. At this Dunn-Edwards location, I was helped by Stephen, who was so patient and supportive in guiding me through how to potentially correct my mistakes. He was kind, informative, and eager to get the right match. And he was 100% right in his suggestions. It worked beautifully and my horrible amateur painter mistakes were corrected! “I found H&Q colors via Yelp and I'm glad I called them. After messaging them, it took only a few hours before they called me and ask about the issue. Aaron was good at communicating and figuring out what repair was needed. Scheduling was easy and definitely made sure to accommodate us. As for the repair, I would say 10 out 10. Aaron went above and beyond to fixing our ceiling, enough so that it looked like nothing had happen. Also, during the Job, he made sure that our floors would stay clean. “Yesterday morning I and my gal pal went into Dunn Edwards and spoke with Thomas Carlton, Assistant Manager, my gal pal is painting the inside of her house and I am going to help her, I am a retired Carpenter Working Supervisor for the County of Los Angeles, Internal Services Department. I am trying to teach her how things are done, we talked with Thomas once before and this time as the last time he was extremely helpful, and with his knowledge he really showed how simple things can be as long as you know what you are trying to do, and even as in this case that is not the fact... We purchase $80 worth of paint and she was very happy. I saw another women in there, and she was struggling trying to communicate what she is trying to accomplish, the person who was helping her was VERY patient and helpful, as I listened in on the conversation. So here it goes. It doesn't matter if you are a guy or gal, if you are not sure of what you are doing and how to go about doing it with regards to painting, come down to Dunn Edwards have all what you are trying to do in your mind or write it down, talk to these highly trained, skilled professionals, explain to them what you are trying to accomplish, oh PLEASE make sure you have your colors picked out... Then listen to what they are telling you, they will tell you what level of paint you should be looking to buy, and here is the hard part, TRUST them, you won't go wrong, that is the main part and the most important part. Then when you go home, get on U Tube enter Tutorial for painting interior, or exterior of residential home, and then start looking at the tutorials that are there and get some knowledge on how you should proceed. Good Luck and have fun, and if something didn't quite turn out, go back to Dunn Edwards show them from your I Phone, I Pad and they will be able to help you achieve your goal. The trick to this is simple, establish a relationship with your Dunn Edwards person, and you will feel much better as you go along with taking care of the most expensive thing you will ever purchase in your life...
