Very rude. Tried to over charged for items and when i showed the tag price wasn't matching the charged price I got a lot of attitude. Won't be returning to this location

I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service provided by the current assistant manager, at Ross. Her lack of professionalism and inability to perform her duties effectively left me and my partner feeling frustrated and disrespected.From the moment we stepped into the store, it was evident that the assistant manager had no interest in providing quality customer service. As we were checking out, she displayed a complete lack of attention to detail by failing to scan all our items, which were clearly still in the basket. This oversight resulted in us discovering the mistake and having to apologize for her negligence.What made matters worse was the assistant manager's rushed and dismissive demeanor. We felt like an inconvenience rather than valued customers, as she showed no regard for our time or satisfaction. It was truly disappointing to witness such poor customer service skills from someone in a managerial position.To compound the already frustrating experience, the assistant manager further demonstrated her incompetence by incorrectly splitting our purchase into two transactions. This mistake forced us to return all the items and now we are left waiting for our bank account to process the refund. As a result of her error, we left the store empty-handed and extremely dissatisfied.This incident reflects poorly on Ross as a whole and raises concerns about the store's commitment to customer satisfaction. It is disheartening to encounter an assistant manager who lacks the necessary skills and professionalism to fulfill her role effectively.In conclusion, I strongly advise against visiting this particular Ross location due to the assistant manager's rude behavior, lack of customer service, and inability to perform her job competently. It is my hope that this review serves as a wake-up call for management to address these issues and improve the overall customer experience.

I was to get some very nice converse in there! They have a lot of items especially during Christmas season! The service was amazing, everyone in the store seems very welcoming and happy. I will recommend this place to anyone

I found what I was looking for, but the line was very long. They need more staff. However the clerk was awesome and performed well under pressure.

As a Ross shareholder I'm shocked with the state of the South Lake Tahoe store. The pictures do not tell the whole picture, the store is gross and it's a shame because the product has value for customers. I hope the store leadership has a plan to clean this place up and have it presentable for the Tahoe community.

Used to be one of the best places to purchase items; However has really lacked in keeping the store full. Not all staff is friendly. I was in line to return some curtains in the return line but was told that I had to wait in the long line, which just the day before when I purchased my curtains they were helping people in the return line. The lady was so rude. I definitely haven't been back. Can't wait for the new HomeGoods store to open to give Ross a run for their business!

The Ross store in south lake tahoe should be immediately addressed. Who ever owns the store or us head management should be fired. Everyday I have come in around 4:30 pm to witness the most awful operations. Only ONE cashier solely responsible for helping hundreds of shoppers. I have stood in line for 40 minutes, I am not even near the front.People are scared.These employees are treated horribly. I am watching a fight break out and the cashier gas had no break for hours.
