“I LOVE this place. This store is a plant lover's dream. I came to visit from Florida so they had tons of exceptionally rare plants I've never seen and beautifully potted. One of most unique things about this store is you can customize your plant, meaning you can choose any plant in the store and ask for it to be potted in whichever planter you wish (even if the planter already has a plant in it, they'll just repot your desired plant into that pot). Its SO amazing!
They have lots of statement plants like your australian bottle trees, song of india, various cactus, and so many more. Also some very unique volcanic rock vases. This is the place for interior designers too as they had some cool items you can display in the house such as large driftwood pieces. Honestly wish to keep this place a best kept local gem but they are very deserving of the business, answered all my questions, and loved plants as much as I do!”

“Ten out of five stars for Melynda and her all volunteer Quirk crew for creating the People's Free Boutique in an unused corner space in DTLA, providing much needed, intentional, and high quality clothing and supplies for those of us who lost everything in LA's January fires. My family and I came to Quirk and were welcomed with care and respect, mirroring the quality and thoughtfulness of the clothing offered, and being given the dignity of choice to dress ourselves in clothing that we prefer.
The Quirk crew were professional and kind, dealing with a gradually melting down child and frazzled adults, recognizing and validating the collective trauma of their guests, and providing a space of hope, solace, and care out of the goodness of their hearts.
I was able to restock much of my professional and casual wardrobe, grab some high quality toiletries, kids clothing, and an epic penny board for my kid. I cannot recommend a visit to the People's Free Boutique and Melynda's Quirk store on 9th enough!”

“Went in to try to find an outfit to go out in tonight, seemed bleak at first but after some solid hunting found two badass sexy dresses to wear! My bf left the clothes area a mess and after the worker saw me clean it up and hang up what he left behind, she charged him 15 a piece for what he got , which weren’t higher end looking or uncommon by any means ( still nice quality and he looks amazing in everything ) and only charged me 5 a piece for my higher end pieces ????

When she tells you that a bag is not real you have to accept her honest opinion after all the knows what she's doing. You can't get angry and write a review like that unless you knew the bag was fake. And another thing one lady in her review said that she didn't get a nice welcome walking into the store. And she started labeling the staff referring to them as hispanic older women, black older women, and white older women. “I was happy to bump into an American Indian jewelry store in South Pasadena recently. The proprietors of the Santa Fe craft, an American Indian, jewelry and art gallery, are Barbara and John. They have a very unique, one-of-a-kind, and very extensive Native American, Mexican and Northwest Coast handcrafted, art and jewelry collections.
Barbara and John were very helpful in helping me to select something for my nephew to start him off on his collection of Indian artifacts. I purchased a wooden handcrafted , 12 inch tall Alaskan totem pole. And, when I saw these very cute, tiny teardrop shaped turquoise and sterling silver earrings, I had to purchase those for my little niece.
I’m glad I found this gem of a store that carries a large selection of American Indian handcrafted jewelry. I’d previously purchased bolo ties and men’s bracelets when I had visited Santa Fe in New Mexico, years ago. Now, I can shop locally!”
