“I always have a wonderful experience at California Art Supply. Everyone is helpful. They do not rush you. Merchandise is quality. If they do not have something, they can order it. They take time to discuss what you are doing with your art and will give helpful advice if you ask.”
“Very cute exhibits throughout the store of what can be made with specialty paper and great selection of paper too!
You can request your paper to be cut down to smaller dimensions if you are planning to travel with them - excellent customer service and would love to visit again.”
“Your staff member Rose Armstrong just knocked it out of the park. She is a fantastic employee. She helped me with a frame I needed for a piece that my grandmother gifted me. She went out of her way to make the experience, fun and special for me. She went above and beyond. I am so thankful to have cheap pats in my neighborhood and will definitely be back to frame more items because it made me so happy! Thank you so much.”

“This place is amazing. If you need anything for sculpture and/or moldmaking this place has it. Fantastic staff, as well. Definitely check it out if you are makin some art!”
“I love love love this cute little shop. The colors they create are gorgeous and it’s so fun mixing and matching to form unique palettes. My only warning is that the small little trays used to house the paints are pretty pricey so you may be better off buying this elsewhere if you’re trying to save :).”
“SCRAP is awesome! Always something for everyone. Insanely reasonable pricing - don't let the lack of price tags scare you, you'll always pay less than you expect.”
“What great service! Especially for an online order. A different online retailer decide not to tell me that a key part of a birthday present for my wife, Nutscene Garden Twine, was back ordered, which I only discovered because it didn't ship after 4 or 5 days. Scrambling, I found Arch Art Supplies had some in stock. Unfortunately the color I chose was out of stock but instead of leaving me hanging Arch Art reached out directly to ask me if one of the other colors would be ok and then quickly got it shipped to me...with a couple of days left till the birthday! It was a small order but they went out of their way to provide great service....can't thank them enough...and can't wait to visit the shop in person.”

“Love this place. I had a few custom tees made and they all came out perfect. This place does beautiful work and great customer service to go with it. Highly recommended.”
“Mendels! You never disappoint! The perfect neighborhood spot if you sew and need just that ONE thing. I’ve been shopping here since the late seventies, and this is the perfect go to spot to match thread colors, (they have every shade of Guterman’s) or find a bit of trim. They’re still Far Out, but too not far out to get to.”
“I love this store. It reminds me of my best friend’s family card & candy store I grew up visiting and sometimes working in. They have great gifts and art supplies. I really appreciate that they have gorgeous Shabbat AND havdalah candles!”
“Couldn’t believe these existed but was guided by the friendly and knowledgeable staff about the different models and walked away with another for my LAMY collection. If you need a great pen, this is the place!”
“This Joann's is small but still has the things I need. It's clean and I can find what I need. The location is convenient and employees are professional. I don't think I've ever been in here and seen a long line in the front to pay.”
“This is an awesome store! So many cool toys, stickers, stamps, miniatures, etc.!
Also, an impressive inventory of arts and craft items.
Shop-keeper is very kind and generous; helping me out with my Halloween costume and keeping an eye out for bat themed items.
It is a joy to be able to support a wonderful small business ( over Amazon).
I highly recommend!”
“An artist’s paradise. Paints, brushes, markers, pastels, canvas and frames. The custom frames section is very helpful for finding the right products for your artwork. I was very fortunate to find the right sized frame in their inventory. Their gift section is filled with interesting souvenirs and stickers.”
“Maido is my number-one destination for fountain pen inks and Japanese art & writing tools! Many times I've found items that otherwise are only available in Japan. They have a surprisingly huge selection of stationary, fine writing tools, art supplies and fun gifts and toys fit into their well-organized and relatively tiny space. They are directly across from the big Kinokuniya Bookstore on the second floor.”
“Customer Service was TOP NOTCH!!! What can I say? I came in on a Saturday morning needing to buy a list of drawing supplies for my daughter’s art class and Chris came to the rescue to help me find everything. He made suggestions to substitute items with a different brand, so that I wouldn’t have to go to another store. What a great place to shop for art supplies!”
“More of a knickknack store/gift shop than a true stationery store. Not as serious as, for example, Maido. So if you're looking for fountain pens, inks, and quality writing paper or notebooks, this is not the place you're looking for. This is more of a cute store for the casual shopper.”
“As a small time artist and DIY screen printer I really bank on experience of the team at Anthem. They have taken away the hardship and costly challenges of trying to burn screens in my bathroom. They provide an awesome service that I, personally, am happy to rely on. Customer service (I’ve had Carol)is always on point and very communicative. This service allows me to focus on my art and printing and provides the comfort of knowing an experienced team of professionals are on my side for a fraction of the cost of hiring employees of my own. Thank you Anthem”
