“Always love going there to grocery shopping. Not too big store so easy to find the things you need. Staffs are friendly and kind. My toddlers love to help me to shop there with small cart :)”
“Went here looking for garlic but was surprised to see the vast selection of vegetables. This store has so much culture and friendly workers. I let with some meat from the butchers as well as some Mexican treats.
Thank you for wonderful service and environment. Prices imo were faire.”
“Great store where I shop weekly. Well kept and a good, ever-rotating selection of well-priced food. Grocery outlets operate a little differently than other supermarkets which means you can discover great finds for a limited time (obscure cereal flavors? They got em).
I need to give a special shout out to the leadership of this store: Michelle, Brianna and manager Nicole who were are so helpful, polite and kind when I lost my wallet. They bent over backwards to help. Thank you!!”
“I love how close it is to me. I usually walk over with friends and pick up some drinks and snacks. I really love how nice the staff are, sadly the Icee/Slushy machines don’t work very well but there is ice cream as a substitute.”
“Love the people there. Tony is great always friendly to everyone. Chicken and ribs!! Just a hop skip and a jump from me, Couldn't ask for anything more! Be there early in the morning for the Chicken or ribs, they go quick! ?”
“I came here to buy a simple plate to cut up my apples at the hotel. This store has everything you'd be looking for in an Asian market. I made my $7.00 purchase, and the cashier girl wrapped my plate in newspaper and placed it in a bag for me. This may not seem like a big deal but, I only spent $7.00 and was treated like someone who just bought a truckload of merchandise. I've been there since to buy another small purchase, a sake type glass (like a shot glass) and a child's spoon. Glass for paint thinner and the spoon to pop cans of Oneshot and Ronan lettering enamel. Practice, practice. It's a fun store.”
“The store is a bit on the small side, but the prices are generally better than most chain stores. The selection is smaller because of its size smaller size, as others have said about its parking. The parking lot is smaller so you may have park further away when it is busy at the store.”
“I visit this location specifically for the Goodwill donation center, for it is a Safeway that is easy to pop into and out of. good parking in the shade though I do believe sometimes there is overflow parking from the Westborough Square situation one block south.”
“This is important to note:
The Draeger's location in South San Francisco is their Admin. Office and Food production Facility. It is not a retail location and not a market where one would go to shop. The retail / Market locations are in Menlo Park, Danville and Los Altos.
Draeger's Markets are fabulous places to shop with a world of intigue and selection! The Deli and Bakery items are all made from scratch. A family owned business for 100 years.”
“I constantly frequent this store! I’m literally there like 2 or more times a day! Toni and the 2 brothers who own the store are incredibly nice and welcoming! They’re always so friendly and have smiles on their face! I love coming here! I highly recommend this place to anyone”
“Unsure if I should write a review in English or Italian - I'll try English to have the broadest coverage. This place is not a joke. They have stuff that is absolutely impossible to find anywhere else, prosciutto, bresaola, riso carnaroli e vialone nano, you name it. You have to find your way to a salesperson, agree on the order via email, then show up the day it's ready, and you can pay cash (that means right away, also with a credit card). The selection is immense and the quality just like shopping in a supermarket in Italy. Thanks to exist! I could not survive otherwise in a foreign country with only a bunch of junk food. (Yeah I'm exaggerating)”
“My favorite Mercado in town the meats are great quality and the hospitality is impeccable the produce here always seems beautiful and hand selected and there house made tamales are amazing!! Always moist”
“An older school Safeway, friendly employees. Calm vibes here compared to other nearby locations. The Deli lady was very friendly and made a fat burrito, will be back if in the area. NO Self checkout which seems weird in 2026”
“Best place to buy restaurant supplies.
They now carry distilled Water ?
They have at least 10 rows of all kinds of soda that you could think of. I usually wait for their sales on sodas
And talk about candy and snack, they have at least 15 rolls of candy and snack that you could ever think of, and and you can find it here.
They also have many different kinds of beef that you will only able to get at Costco Business center.”
