“It’s not new, but as a property manager it feels very well maintained. Well equipped, useful layout, easy parking, efficient and clean restrooms and the associated catering service is very generous with good food and good service. Out e annual conference always runs without a hitch. Just bring a coat because the A/C works very well.”
“A few weeks ago we attended an afternoon party here, and this facility is a true gem.
With tall glass panels across three sides, it seems even bigger than it is, though it will seat around 140 at normal family-style table settings. The kitchen is handy, with reach-in fridge and freezer, a prep island with a sink, and a 4-burner gas range. Best of all, the rest rooms are large enough to be comfortable for a big crowd. (While the restrooms are a slight bit worn from age, they were immaculately clean.) And, TK and Joseph, the facility attendants there, were incredibly attentive and helpful.
Bonus- there is a really nice children's playground right outside the door.”
“I recently arrived for a basketball tournament at the Terrabay Recreational Center and it was a pleasant experience. This is a Pretty nice and welcoming indoor gym, when there is a sports tournament or even a basketball run with other hoopers. I have seen multiple people mentioned that there is an entrance fee to use the gym. Maybe I was there on a good day, but I did not have any entrance fees to pay. But if there was one, then I understand because how else will you maintain a facility of this size, including the tennis courts and the playground for the kids. My rating is solely based on my experience and nothing else. Although, I can't say past reviews, are wrong. I can say my day at this location was enjoyable. Parking isn't the best. There are parking spaces but not too many of them. There are two small lots that can fit a handful of cars so the sooner you get there, the better your chances are of finding a spot close to the entrance. It's located in a nice area and you will definitely feel safe here. The staff seemed pretty friendly and although, it's not a huge facility. It's a decent size for any basketball or volleyball game.”
“It would have helped to get some sort of an introduction, maybe 5 minutes, explaining how it works. The kids had never done it before, so they don't even know what to expect; and likewise, as parents, e.g. that there's a printer and that the results will be printed, nobody explained that to us. Otherwise, the experience itself was great!”

“I've worked this venue several times as an event vendor, most recently for a quinceañera, and I have to say the place itself is stunning.
The main hall is spacious, the dance floor is huge, the bar area is comfortable and well set up, and the kitchen gives catering teams plenty of room to work. For guests and event hosts, this place checks every box.
That said, I want to leave an honest note for other vendors who are considering working here, because this is something nobody tells you until you show up with a full load of equipment. The vendor access is very limited.
There is an elevator, and it's a decent size and handles good weight, but you will have to move your gear multiple times before you get everything up to the hall. For vendors with heavy equipment like DJ setups, lighting rigs, or large catering supplies, that process takes extra time and extra hands.
This is not a complaint about the venue, the staff has always been friendly and the space delivers a great experience for everyone inside.
But if you're a vendor planning to work an event here at The State Room in South San Francisco, factor that into your setup time and honestly, into your pricing as well. Going in prepared makes all the difference.”
“Went to a wedding reception here. pretty easy to get to and it's not a bad site for a smaller party. they also have security on site, which is cool and all but they wouldn't let the smokers take their drinks outside. Not a deal breaker.”
“I went here for Valentine's Day and the experience was fabulous. The attentive service was superb and the Filipino lady who greeted us was so friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the chicken sandwich, one of the better sandwiches I've had in a long time. Also, the Korean steak had lots of flavor and was delicious. We ended the meal with the lava cake which added the perfect touch. Of course, we will be back again! Thanks for the great meal!”

“Front desk staff very nice. Comfy beds; couldn't hear any airport noise (big plus for that area); just a noisy neighbor upstairs one night.
The maintenance requests were handled within 5 minutes! (Needed to replace microwave, & asked for a 2nd luggage rack). Overall, very pleased, compared to nearby hotels.”
“Our stay at the Holiday Inn was genuinely enjoyable. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our visit — especially Rona and Lela, who both demonstrated excellent hospitality and truly embodied what great customer service should look like.
Breakfast was okay, nothing exceptional but enough to start the day. The room itself was very comfortable, clean, and relaxing, which made a big difference during our stay.
Overall, we had a great experience and would happily return.”
“Every Tuesday they are open for dinner to the public starting at 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. the price is $22.00 the food is very tasteful. Then you can head to the bar for a cocktail if you drink, I don't so I have a mocktail. Usually there's a one-man band
Who sings and he's a very pleasant”
