“Had a very nice stay here meeting up for a girls trip this past weekend (3/23-3/24). Parking was convenient. Great location near the airport feasible to hang out up the coast or south of bay. The service was very friendly and the food and drinks at the bar were tastey! Would stay here again when I'm in town for business or pleasure! Thank you for the wonderful service ( thanks to the front desk service - an african american lady, sorry I forgot her name, extremely nice) Thanks again!Nearby activities: Suggest renting a car , super convenient to drive up the coast or down the coast.Food & drinks: Great restaurant and bar at the hotel, but also many additional options nearby.”

“Great beer and wonderful staff. One of the best games to play is when you're in the bathroom and there happens to be someone in the stall keeping really quiet until you leave. When you've done you're thing and you're on your way out pretend to leave. Open the door and close it again. That person in the stall will think you've left and they'll let it rip. Most people will have been holding it back, probably gripping the sides of the toilet, waiting for you to leave and when its released it'll make a hell of a noise. You can then laugh all the way back to your beer knowing that you caught them at their most vulnerable. Sometimes I just make the fart noise and then leave. It's up to you how you play it.”

“Planned a group activity for my husband's surprise party and this place did not disappoint. With majority of the group being first timers the coaches did a great job. Everyone had a great time and was a great start to our night.”

“I created a yelp account just to write about how incredible my service at Janene's this week was! When I visited their sample sale last week without an appointment, I was extremely nervous for my first time bridal shopping. My stylist Austin was a true gem - so thoughtful, kind and patient while I tried things on. They even helped me accessorize to further envision what the full look would be. As a gay bride, Austin was so inclusive and helpful. As long as Austin is working here, I would strongly recommend this shop to others!”

“The entire experience was super fun. It was my first escape room and we were pretty lame but we got good hints that didn't give everything away and kept us moving forward. I can't wait to return and try a different room!”

“This place took me by surprise how Big it is in person! The tall columns are what make the beautiful architecture stand out. Its a public place you can walk around at no cost! I had the pleasure of taking photos here for an awesome couple.”

“We planned our school community day with 70+ attendees and food from That’s Amore. The kids had a blast! The event was handled so efficiently and expertly. Sandy, our party organizer, was so essential to smooth planning and execution. She kept in close contact during the party. Sandy even made us a decor banner including our logos! WOW! The Little Oceanauts team took care of everything: from bringing materials and and drinks from the car, setting up the party room including decor and presentation materials, and then packing up afterwards. It allowed our party organizers to mingle instead of worry about the logistics. Thank you Little Oceanauts team!”

“Amazing venue tucked into Valencia St in the Mission. Upstairs bar had no line, not a bad spot to stand anywhere in the small house. Highly recommend! Grab dinner nearby. Easy walk from 16th/Mission BART.”

“This is the first place we ate on our trip, and it set the bar HIGH we absolutely loved it. They had some awesome gf options!I started with the house made lemonade and was absolutely in love. The perfect lemonade, I wish it had been free refills because I would’ve drank 7 cups at least. Then we had the tarp chips with siracha aioli and was pleasantly surprised how well the earthy chips with the tangy sauce went together. Yum!I had the steak frites with truffle fries and it was phenomenal! My husband had the fried chicken sandwich with fries and said it was one of the best he’d ever had! (And he has tried lots of chicken sandwiches!)10/10 would eat here again the staff was so friendly and accommodating and made us feel right at home. Dietary restrictions: They had awesome attitudes and were very knowledgeable and willing to make alterations to dishesKid-friendliness: While kids could definitely eat here, the vibe is much more geared towards adults.”

“I was wandering along in San Francisco on my way to visit the bookbinder museum when I met the owner of The Box SF, Mark. When I told him I was interested in books and other historical items, he graciously invited me to enter his shop. The outside is discrete and belies how magical the inside space truly is. When you enter, you're immediately blown away by the vintage art and artifacts everywhere. Mark and his assistant, Israel, gave me a mini-tour and explained how the shop specializes in ephemera, which refers to items that were designed for short-term use (advertising prints, perfume bottles, soap labels, etc). The shop contains items from the mid-1800s to the early-1900s from around the world. Everything is in great condition and attests to the craftsmanship of earlier time periods. What was supposed to be a quick 20-30 minute visit turned into a 2-hour visit.Everywhere you turn, there's something new to take in. I love antique and thrift stores, yet I have never encountered anything as unique as The Box. I found some souvenirs to take home with me and even the wrapping paper was this cool, historical print. The Box is a treasure trove for people who love vintage, antique, or novel artifacts. If that's your style, you have to visit.”

“We've been here on several occasions throughout the years. We always enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic and the rooms are comfortable and clean. We always get a first floor garden view room. The ability to open the doors for a nice breeze or to hear the ocean is a nice option. Would not hesitate to book again if we're in the area.Rooms: Elegent and nicely decorated. Fireplace is a nice touch. Very comfortable.Nearby activities: Enjoyed walking the garden, cypress grove and to the nearby beach.Food & drinks: Afternoon tea and cookies is a nice touch. Breakfast never disappoints.”

“Moscone Center is 2 blocks south of Market street and 4th street. There used to be also Moscone North and South, make sure you know which one is your venue. The Moscone center is newly updated and easily reachable by BART, SFMTA and Uber. I would not recommend renting a car, parking is a pain here and expensive $50-80 a day with area hotels.”

“It’s cute but it’s definitely only for kids. If you don’t have a kid or aren’t a kid then don’t bother paying the $45 ticket. Go to the academy of sciences instead”

“I attend VIVE Church here on Sunday @ 9am and 11:30am. I've only visited twice but the seems to be an awesome Bible teaching contemporary christian church. (Ages 20-45 seems to be the bulk of the demographic) This is worth a look.”

“I recently attended a new age rendition of Cinderella put on my the African American Shakespeare Company at the Herbst Theater and it was wonderful. The staff at the theater was friendly, warm, and eager to help attendees. The space is beautiful, clean, and has great acoustics. If you ever have an opportunity to visit the Herbst Theater you won't regret it.”

“I come here for swing dance lessons, and it is really fun. The live bands at the end makes this place so fun to be at. People will go around to look for partners to dance with, and it is a great way to practice, leading or following. It looks like they have other dance types on other days of the week too.I agree with the other post where they said that it gets hot and stuffy. I wish that they would serve bar snacks because I often have to come before I even get dinner and walking around to the nearest Safeway wasn’t a great jaunt in nice clothing.Highly recommend anyone looking to learn and find a dance community here.”

“Beautiful grounds, especially with night lights. Seats in theater were comfy and leaned back. Exit was a little confusing because it brought us out away from the parking lot.”

“Way more fun than I expected! Call ahead to make a reservation so you're not waiting day of. It takes a good amount of time to choose your piece and glazes so maybe think about the color combination ahead of time. I would recommend going for a smaller or more simple option first to get used to the painting and then come back again for a larger piece!”

“Spent the morning here with my nieces and nephew (ages 8, 6, 3). They all had a blast! This place is the perfect size for a half-day excursion. Here's plenty to do, but it's not too big and you feel like you could get lost. There's also are multiple outdoor playground areas as well. You can pack a little picnic to enjoy there.”

“My coworkers and I chose this place for a going away and had a great experience. The couple who owns this place are delightful people, and they were so incredibly accommodating and attentive to our large group. The sakes we sampled were all really good, very reasonably priced, and generously poured, all with thorough and informative descriptions by the owners. I found it especially cool to have the opportunity to taste sakes that would usually be unavailable outside of Japan, due to short shelf lives and refrigeration requirements. Highly recommend checking this place out; arrive early to easily grab a table.”

“USS Hornet, a wonderful place to take the family. Young and old can learn about aircraft carriers, the navy and what it feels like to be on a giant ship. There are several exhibitions, including one that details the recovery the apollo 11 astronauts. The Hornet also features a flight simulator that is currently closed. You have a lot of freedom to explore the ship, and you can get lost in time. It is fantastic. One of the best parts of your visit will be the Volunteers. They have many interesting stories to tell. We met a pilot today who flew missions in Vietnam on the A4. A training version of this aircraft (2 seater) is on display.Another interesting exhibition is related to the recovery of the Apollo 11/12 astronauts at sea. The hornet played a major role brining the astronauts home. There are many airplanes, helicopters, bombs and military equipment on display. All include detailed information for you take in. Take advantage of it by planning a visit soon. The prices are reasonable. Adult $20, Student $15 and kids under 12 only pay $10.Another bonus! The flight deck offers amazing views of San Francisco and Oakland. There is ample free parking.”

“I recently visited the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park and had a fantastic experience overall. The museum offers a wealth of knowledge and exhibits covering everything from land to forests, seas, and human history. I truly enjoyed exploring and learning from the various displays. However, I did have a disappointing experience when entering the rainforest exhibit. The air quality inside the rainforest made both myself and my friend feel dizzy and gave us headaches. It seemed like there might have been some chemicals or irritants in the air that caused discomfort. This was a downside to an otherwise enjoyable visit.Despite this issue, I appreciated the vast amount of information and interactive displays throughout the museum. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. I would recommend a visit to the California Academy of Sciences for anyone interested in learning more about the natural world.”

As a woman-owned business, it exudes a refreshing sense of empowerment and inclusivity that sets it apart from the rest. Co-owners and Sommeliers Cara and Simi enrich every visit with their expertise, offering an accessible range of delightful wines and snacks tailored to any budget or palate.
