“I've been buying scrolls from Gary at Oriental Outpost for about 12 years. Their scrolls are the best I've seen since shopping in Shanghai. His customer service is 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, had great prices and sales on many of his scrolls. I received 3 scrolls and two paintings today. I have some of the calligraphy scrolls in my Tai Chi classes for atmosphere, and students always complement them. Gary is an outstanding military man and serves our country, thank you for your service. Oriental Outpost had a wide range of artwork done by talented artists in Asia. Please support him in his business. Shei shei ni!?”

“I bought a Groupon for Heart Art so my son and I could splash some paint around. It was a unique experience! We brought our own Canvas to splash in the room as a memento. We loved that we could Bluetooth into her speaker to play our own music. We selected some Michael Jackson jams since the owner's toddler was present. I lowered by one star because I was surprised to find that we had to pay $20 extra for non-white paint. The splash room could also use additional black lighting or clean the paint off the shields over the lights. We didn't really get a great glow effect from the fluorescent paints we paid extra for. Overall, it was a fun experience that was good enough to try once!”

I love stopping by to check out the rotating gallery and pickup some fun pens/markers. I’m fully convinced the poor reviews on this page were weird one-off situations bc we’ve had nothing but great interactions with this business. Supporting small biz in this day and age is far more important to me than having to wait a few extra minutes for the owner to open shop (which we’ve never experienced in about a dozen visits, by the way - just addressing others’ complaints).”

I've scored some awesome locally handmade jewelry, wall art, and lovely essential oil blends there. Recently, I received the 90 minute Magic Carpet Ride treatment and it helped me tremendously to feel more grounded and connected to source. I love going there, especially when I'm in a transitional or stressful time such as with a relationship change, starting a new job, or when there was a death in my family.”
