I've been twice and they always tell me that I have to make an appointment to open a new account, or they never solve anything for me, and they don't have a good attitude, it's better to go to Chula Vista.

I have this Chase branch as my local bank , but they are terrible when it comes to answering phone calls. I needed to open an online account while out of town that required their managers assistance .I called over 25 times throughout the day, with no answer. Finally called the Bonita branch which answered on the first call. Problem solved immediately. I opened the account at the Bonita branch. Please note that I have never had a problem with Tellers at the SV branch , they have always been great. Just dont bother trying to reach anyone over the phone.

Trying to speak to a customer service rep at the Chase Bank on Sweetwater Rd., is almost impossible. After calling the local number 4 times, I called the 800 number and now on hold there. I was thinking about transferring my accounts to this Branch given I moved to a new location recently, but after this on a Wed. afternoon at 3:50 PM run around, I won't be moving my account. My current account is with the North Park Branch in San Diego CA and I've never waited or had this lengthy delay. I've been with that branch since the mid 70's and always had prompt customer service.

Men have gone to the moon and safely returned to earth in less time than these people take to handle my money .SLOW SLOW SLOW.No Accountability I'm sure just dress well and check the corporate boxes.I miss local banks all bought up by corporate sharks.

I love going to this chase location! They have a security guard that sits out front of the bank that always greets me, and opens the door when needed!!As soon as you walk into the branch, you get a nice greeting!! Not all branches do that!They make your banking experience pleasant!!I always get a have a great day after my transaction!They deserve a 10++++

I don't usually do out of my way to write comments, but I have to say that every time I have walked into this bank, I have been utterly impressed with the staff (tellers, security, concierge and consultants.) Each one has been kind, patient and thorough... even when I brought an elderly friend in who took up a lot of time and asked a lot of questions. It's in a tough neighborhood, so their customer service is even more impressive to me. Well done!

I use this bank for the business I work for and the staff and everyone is great. However today was the first time i’ve been ID’d for getting change. They also did this to the individual before me in line as well. While I completely understand these guys are doing their job and I respect that the employees at the time were following policy. I do get frustrated however, that this is clearly not something they’ve always been enforced as the man in front of me also became frustrated hearing he needs an ID. The man definitely did not behave appropriately for that situation, and I don’t condone his behavior. I do want to get it out there however that if you are enforcing Identification for getting change, then make sure you entire staff follows the policy. I worry over this lack of consistency because it happened to me and one other person in the span of 5 minutes being there. Also was kind of embarrassing to have to walk out and get my ID because I've never been asked that before and now suddenly its always been policy. One of the people who helped me never ID’d me before and I’ve literally gotten change from her quite a few times.

Today I found out that even though with my checking account I can't get a check book, I am entitled to free cashiers checks and money orders. The staff is quite friendly and give a wonderful customer experience.

This bank is Garbage I will never bank with Chase for the reason being that they mistreat their clients and act like the money is coming out of their pocket.Lie completely to your face about limits and restrictions it’s quite rediculous especially when the teller Manager gets nasty and childishly disrespectful with you and refuses to show professionalism.

For an unsavory part of town that I outgrew and ran away from... this bank was surprisingly outstanding in the way they dealt with my family following the passing of my father. Let me tell you that I hate this neighborhood and all the depressing, littered up, tagged up, and unsafe dump holes that surround it. I wasn't thrilled that my mom wanted to go here because I was opting for somewhere in Northern San Diego or at least the Bonita locations because I was worried about how our transactions would be handled. Why? Because I grew up here and I made it a point to flee. However, I want to recognize Ricardo Gutierrez as our associate banker. He was very patient and gentle with our situation and I appreciate his tactful approach in dealing with my feisty, elderly mom who is not contemporary with modern banking. She rolled up in there with at least a dozen envelopes full of gifted cash that she had him deposit into her joint account with my dad on top of other things that could have been managed outside the bank. But that's the thing about the elderly, my mom is stubborn and easily confused so she needs someone to be face to face with her on these needs. Ricardo remained courteous and open the entire time with her and he outlasted my patience for my mom. We ate up a lot of his time too and he didn't mind. You might need pepper spray getting in and out of the parking lot but at least this bank will take care of you. This place isn't easy. While we were there, I overheard some angry guy yelling at a teller because of some stupid misunderstanding about money he needed for a haircut. He overdrew his account and couldn't figure out left from right. Judging from some of the low rated reviews, it's... a complicated pool for gauging whether this bank provides good service but I highly recommend Ricardo because he made this hood hole peaceful for us!

Will NOT be doing business at this branch again. The teller behind the counter acted as if I was passing bad checks. They were business deposits for the company that I personally own. I have never been treated so poorly by any branch.

I just came from Chase. Briseida and Clarissa ( I think) helped me with an issue. They were so helpful and Bam Done! Thank you ladies 5 STARS*****
