“I used to live in the apartment complex directly next to Home Start. The first time I noticed this store was Halloween 2018, a few hrs. before a last minute puppy Halloween party. Not only did I find the CUTEST mermaid costume I’ve ever seen… but it was a complete set & not just random pieces of clothing someone decided to donate last minute vs. throw away. Amongst that I found a gigantic stack of my favorite designer jeans— not only in my size, but in a plethora of styles (not just straight leg)…. Oh, & I usually pay about $200 retail for these jeans but every single pair i purchased that day & so on, we’re $4. The women working here are so amazing & they really care & look out for their clients best interests. I did unfortunately move but I always come back once a month for bag day! ?”

“I have always loved the Mission of the Salvation Army! But, the location on Broadway in Chula Vista really showed me how Amazing the people who work for Salvation Army on Broadway really are. Marilyn was so helpful when I brought a big truck full of donation furniture. They had the space but it was late in the day and they didn't have the staff. She made sure the Boss said it was ok for me to bring the next morning. And it all went as planned. Elias and Cedric were so helpful unloading everything and directing me where to position the truck. They carefully unloaded the furniture, knowing that someone would be buying it for their home. Thanks everyone. Perfect place to buy and reuse.”

You can find gems, but it is a hunt. On the other hand, it is very cluttered and definitely needs a hard clean. The ppl working there are always friendly.”

“I do interior design for vacation rentals and I go in whenever I have a new project and find all kinds of wonderful lamps, knickknacks dishes, furniture, and for my personal things they always have some kind of arts and crafts and bric-a-brac that I can use to make art with not only it are the staff helpful but they always have something to show you that they know you might like that maybe they haven’t put out on the floor yet the hours are great. The place is always clean and organized for how much stuff they have in the store. I highly recommend it and always do to whoever will listen and I know a lot of Thrifters.”

“Excellent costumer service. The tacos lacl a lolte seasons but Adderall taste delicious. Really clean restaurant. The tacos are not the regualr size rhey r more like one inch bigger street taxos but they do fill them with meat most cosronf $4.00 O did order a coke ro drink n did wanted all a cup of plain water because I know the coke will dehydrated me, the waiter did not gave me one (they do sell flavor waters but thar would had being too much sugar for me that I have diabetes). My favorite park was the salsas they being tied the table. The restaurant is super clean. I dont think they taste better than tacos el Gordon but they r still really Good n u get amazing table service.”
