“I went here today, it was okay the inventory was a lot different and similar than other thrift stores, the clothing selection was okay but they did have some bins you could dig in for cheap, There were alot of stuff that they didn't need to put out like the frontplate of an xbox 360, the service was really good they were some really nice people and i got a good deal I bought a shirt just for 2 dollars, Overall it was a good store I recommend going there but only if your going to other thrift stores as well.”

“I haven't been there for awhile but my memory of it was that it was all books and very well-organized. I would like to donate some of my books if you are still accepting them. I just have too many books!”

“First time in the store. Super cute store. Easy to find. We found some great gems. It was my friend's daughter birthday. The staff was super friendly and excited we were celebrating a birthday. Birthday girl got 20% discount. The clothes are priced well. Very clean and organized. I'm so happy we found this place. We will definitely return to buy and make donations.”

“Awesome customer service! The store has a wide variety of unique collectible merchandise. The owner will tell you the history of any of their vintage items in detail. I bought some great 1980s vinyl records. Once again super-friendly customer service!”

“I had an amazing experience shopping for a dining table at Thrift Koral. Special thanks to Susana because she was extremely helpful with my loading and even provided some tools to unscrew a table leg so it would fit in my car. I will definitely be coming back in the future.”

“This was my favorite San Diego thrift for really cheap prices and massive selection. The clothes were fairly well organized but there was stuff packed in everywhere. Made it a fun adventure to go find some really basic piece I needed for a vacation or an element of a costume for a party. Any kitchen item or accessory you could find there. I'm really sad that it's closed. Thrift stores like this just don't exist anymore, and you have to worry about supporting for-profit entities like Goodwill. Hope I can find another spot to keep shopping sustainably (and affordably) in my neighborhood. RIP Alliance!!!”

“Penny is the sweet blonde gal who has run this shop for at least the last decade. I have come here at least that long. It is one of my Thrifting Honey-Holes. I always find something here, especially women's clothing. It's very nice to come to here and get a nice little pick-me-up sometimes for a good deal. I like their prices. I am glad they have the 50% off sales they do, thanks guys. Good people run this store.”

“If you are one of those people who loves cheap items such as clothes, household items and equipment, like me, then you will like this thrift store. It is a great location to find good items at a low price. Also, another good thing about this thrift store is that they constantly take out new items from the back to the floor.Another great thing about this location is that they have different sales on top of the cheaper prices that are already given. They would have different colors of tags and it would be 50% off the actual price. Isn't that great? Also, they are on point when it comes to events where they would have sales on specific items! At the register, after ringing your purchase and after paying, they will attach a flyer which will have the necessary information for their next sale. You will definitely find some items that you want in here! And let me just do a quick shoutout to one of me, and my mom's, favorite employee here: the nice elder lady that would greet the customers and would yell and inform shoppers about their current deal of the day. She always makes me and my mom smile whenever we know that she is working the day we're shopping.”

“I loved this location, we had a day of thrift shopping and ended up in the evening here. The manager gonzalo was a really nice person and very attentive, he keeps a clean location, and there was a lot of space for parking which is a huge plus.”

“I came to this store not knowing what to expect. But as I walked in I was greeted by the owner and said welcome, if you have any questions please feel free to ask. I found myself in a store that carries from new to used at great low prices. From landscaping equipment to kitchen items. Furniture, construction tools and even baseball and basketball cards. It's like a high quality thrift store with great customer service. And a new business to the hometown of national city ca. Welcome V&P I wish you all the success. I bought a basketball card and a few other items.”

“Small thrift store in National City. Came here with a friend while thrifting on a Sunday morning. Very quiet place filled with mostly furniture and home decor. There was a handful of clothing racks in the back corner with some cool finds, but ultimately neither of us got anything. This was a cool, random find but will most likely not return because of how small the selection is. Giving 4 stars because of the lack of variety in stock, but the shop owner was nice! This is a great, local place to thrift, just not for hardcore thrifters.”

“Everything is of very good quality, as is the customer service. A store where you can find really useful things at a good price. I recommend you take a look and the opportunity to purchase items that are really worth it.”

“Been clearing out my storage and this is a great store to donate too..Things need to be nice like I would buy but they take everything and don't turn you away because they dont have room to take stuff like one of other stores did to me recently. Staff is fast efficient friendly and polite. To buy things.... prices are very reasonable and lots of variety of items with a fair amount of furniture.”

“Haven’t been in this Goodwill Store in years. Wandered in yesterday with my mom and found the perfect table to be my writing desk for $25. It is simple black table with sturdy legs and no dings or scratches anywhere. We paid for it and were able to pick it up in the alley entrance. The back room clerk even helped me take the legs off so I could fit it in my car. Can’t wait to get it reassembled and setup for all of my writing of things.”

“We were frustrated with being turned away at 9:35 AM, not knowing about the new donation hours. Phoned and spoke to the manager who clarified some of the problems they have been having during and after the pandemic. We were disappointed in the rather gruff treatment we got in back by the reception man, but the manager, I think he was named Jessie, was tactful and apologetic and I hung up feeling in sympathy with the place. When I suggested they have an off-hours drop-off, he gave me some background about that policy turning into a magnet for the homeless and mischief, which caused more problems than it solved. It's so easy to look in without much perspective and make criticisms, especially when we're angry; I'm quite good at that. But our perspective is limited: I really didn't know what I was talking about, and I came away with an increased appreciation of how hard these folks are working and the problems they must deal with.”

“We've been going here sporadically over a decade. They have really good options for thrifting, for all ages and sizes. The operating hours vary but it's definitely worth looking into.”

“Thrift store and also antique type store. You can spend hours here just looking at some cool stuff. Not your typical thrift store full of junk clothes. It has more antique and collectables. The store is run by a senior couple. Both are very nice and cool people. Found some deals on fishing gear. Also bought a heavy bird bath made of concrete and clay. I will be back and also it's cash only.”

3.8 Good31 Reviews

“Super difficult to find this place, but it does exist! More of a high-end antique store with a few shelves of thrift store stuff. Some really great unique items in here that you can't find anywhere else in San Diego --- some of it at GREAT prices!”
