“I am from Melbourne, Australia, and visited this Shell in Lake Tahoe in September 2022. Unbeknownst to me, I left my driver's licence in the store. I was completely blown away when I received a package at my home address last week containing my licence which had been sent via Air Mail all the way from Lake Tahoe. My sincere thanks to the staff/business who went to the trouble and expense of returning this to me. What a wonderful example of kindness and community. I wish the best to all involved and recommend others travelling to the area to stop and fill up here - from memory the hamburgers were a real treat!”
“Had a flat from a pothole on a snow storm day. They were closed on Sunday, but first thing Monday I went in to see if they can get a new tire on. At first they said they didn't have the size for my car so then I started calling other places to find somewhere that has it. Right as I was pulling out of the chevron to get on my way, the guy ran up to my car and told me to wait a second while they double and triple check. They ended having it and were able to put it in under 30 mins so we were on our way! Appreciate their help after a stressful weekend.”

I had asked at another business in town for some help and was rudely turned away…Tina seriously made my day when she was able to find a small tire pressure pen they had under the desk…sometimes it really is the small things! I’ll be back here every time I visit town after this!”

“I cannot speak to fuel at all from here, but what I can say is that I often stop in for a snack or cup of coffee and just WOW! If you are in a pinch for something convenient to make (like a little grocery store), this is a perfect spot to grab it on the go. The staff is also very helpful and friendly. Now for the coffee. I cannot say enough about it. They have a machine that will grind and brew you a fresh cup of coffee, and the coffee beans are good! I will go out of my way for this coffee often, it's that good. You can pick your size, leave room for cream or whatever else you want, and with the coffee places around town being spotty as to when or if they will be open, this is a fantastic alternative for us! Thank you Fast Lane for your offerings.”
“There is indeed a dump station here along the left side of the building. It’s tight but our big rig fit. $7 with gas purchase or $15 otherwise. No problems, glad that it’s here!”

“Freezing temperature windshield wash cones with a paper funnel! Yes! Also bought gas there no complaints. Windshield wash was 6.50 a gallon and gas way over $5 a gallon but I was grateful for both.”
