Hardware Stores near Squaw Valley, CA

“A+ customer service! Dan is always so consultative. Recently purchased a ranch here, & when I walk into the store, I’m always greeted and made to feel welcome. I can tell Dan what I’m working on, and he might suggest the hardware pieces and sizes that I need I really like and appreciate his expertise, as it beats going to a big box store where you’re just another number. There’s a wide selection whether you need plumbing fittings, electrical junction boxes, weed eater string, caulk. Kipers has a largest assortment of hardware and fittings.”

“What you pay in over pricing is made up for by the caliber of people working here, and of course, the convenience of not driving all the way to Reno. The nice thing is that if you need it, they will have it here. Great store!”

“Incredible customer service and product knowledge from the store leader Kamron with a k. (not sure if i spelled correctly) She was so helpful and very intelligent. Thanks for the help and the restoration of my faith in customer service workers! def my favorite ace out of vegas and reno/sparks, and truckee!!”

“Amazing customer service every time. After many years of working with business I wanted to finally give thanks and appreciation for the whole team at Western Nevada Supply. They continue to provide personalized service in a time when so many businesses seem to fall short in customer satisfaction.
Special thanks to Chuck Smith for always going the extra mile to make sure our needs are met and that we always have what we need for any and all projects.”

“This is the place for all your building material needs! From the moment you walk through the door, the friendly staff greets you and offers any assistance you may need with a smile. Whether you are a professional builder, or a homeowner in need of direction, the team at Truckee Tahoe lumber is there for you! They stock most every item you can think of, from hardware to lumber and specialty trims. If they don't have it, they will rush order it and assure you can get to building your project in the least amount of time possible. Their contractor sales team works hard to complete orders ahead of schedule, and the yard professionals are efficient and friendly, helping you load up and get back on the road in no time with your materials so you can get to work! They also have a design team, whose years of expertise combined with exquisite taste will make your dream home a reality, and well within your budget!Check out their door shop too. From sales to pre-hanging to direct delivery to your job site, there isn't a door shop like it in the area. This is a family run business, and it shows. After you visit one of their many branches, you'll feel like one of the team.”

“We used to own a compressor for blasting but they cost a fortune to repair, and always in the way, so we've been using Truckee Rents for years. Their equipment is in good condition and I have always found the staff pretty on top of it and friendly.”

“Gina in Door Sales is fabulous! She worked extremely diligently to secure my French doors in an extremely fast time! When TTL was having a supplier issue, (completely out of TTL's control) She was informative of my options. All points from start to finish, from sales expertise to delivery were handled completely professionally. She stayed in contact, with myself and the supplier; emails and phone calls, all her communication is amazing! She is a true professional. I wish the world had more people who are awesome at their careers as Gina! I have to give a shout out to Matt in door shop also. He was on point with the transfer from distribution and hot listed our one backordered french door set, keeping us on track with our project. Matt and Gina make a great team!”

“We own a 50+ year old mountain home here in Tahoe. The mountain weather combined with our home's age requires regular maintenance. We rely on Swigard's (ACE) Hardware. Plus, the staff is knowledgeable and helpful.”

“I've been working with TTL since 1978, in fact, my account number is 11. Wonder who the ten accounts ahead of me are? The Cross Family have served the community with blood and sweat for many years and now include Reno besides their Truckee and No. Lake yards. From the lumber/supply yards to the design center and door shop, they are a one shop stop store. Gotta say, I do miss the days of working with Ruth for my remodel jobs, but she's retired and I don't do remodeling any longer. Keep it going TTL.”

“My family and I were stuck on the side of the road due to our exhaust pipe suddenly disconnecting and dragging under us. Conveniently we were directly out front of this ace. The staff was incredibly helpful going above and beyond to come up with the right tools or ultimately a temporary solution (go high temp rated tape). We are seriously grateful for ALL of the staff there especially Salem (we think that was your name!). Thank you again x1000!”
