“My 4 YO son loves Heffalump school and I am so thankful we found it!
Both teachers Ms.Meenakshi and Ms.Barbara are very nice and professional.
Whenever I visit the classrooms, the teachers are always honest with the children and communicate with them, which I feel is wonderful.
I feel with the feedback at home that my son is learning a lot here.
I definitely recommend Heffalump school to any parent looking for a great preschool experience for their child.”
“My daughter attended the preschool for 2+ years. She enjoyed the time there a lot.The teachers are loving and caring. Good communications to the parents. Lots of fun activities.”
“Our family LOVES Mountain View Parent Nursery School! My 3yo is completing her first year there and adores all of the activities, the songs, the play areas, and especially her teachers and friends. MVPNS invites parents and caregivers to create a sense of community as they volunteer and help shape their children's early experiences with schooling. Tasks on and off campus are flexible to meet busy parent schedules and allow caregivers to give children just enough independence to learn and feel empowered. Last but not least, we love the opportunities for parent education and fun, family events outside of school. We can't wait to come back next year!”

“Both of my children attended CLC Preschool, and I can't say enough good things about it! The teachers are all incredibly loving and supportive, and they create a warm and welcoming environment for the kids. The school is committed to play-based learning, and under Adela's leadership, the school provides kids with plenty of opportunities to play and explore. My children thrived at CLC Preschool. I highly recommend the school to any parent looking for a high-quality preschool experience for their child.”
“Little Learners is a hidden gem! Our son has been attending for 7 months! The director and vibe of the school sets it part! It’s a play base preschool in a warm setting filled with caring teachers!”
“I cannot recommend this center enough. My son was very well cared for at this daycare. The teachers are incredible, polite, and warm. The administration is professional and accessible. Even though my son has several allergies, the teachers went out of their way to include him and look after him. He was very happy there and so were we. The regularly updated us on the day-to-day activities through their app and openly discussed developmental milestones or concerns. This place is great and I highly recommend it if you're considering it for your child.”

“Little Prodigy is just fantastic. Our kids spent a few years there, from daycare to preschool, and it was all just perfect. Our kids had a lot of fun and also learned a lot. They surprised us often with what they just had learned at LP, and they also made friends they continue to play with now.But most importantly, the people who make LP, all of them... teachers, directors, admins, everyone: they are all really amazing, warm people who really love the kids and put so much energy in making LP as great as it is. Our family will never forget Little Prodigy. It's really a great community, a second family for our little ones.”
“Our son has been here for 1 year and he absolutely loves it. The teachers are caring and the curriculum is advanced, which really helps prepare him for kindergarten. We chose to keep him at ACME instead of sending him to TK because he would learn more here and have the exposure to Mandarin that he wouldn't otherwise have at home or at a public TK. 1) He's already learning phonics and reading 3 letter words and understanding life cycles and basic math that's normally taught in kinder. 2) My husband and I don't speak Mandarin, yet my son is able to converse and understand Mandarin with his teachers. I find that ACME is more inclusive of other ethnicities than a few other Mandarin bilingual programs in Palo Alto. While I was interviewing preschools, many of the Mandarin bilingual programs gave us the cold shoulder as soon as I mentioned I couldn't speak Chinese. I feel that ACME is the most friendly and inclusive, especially of mix raced families.Ms. Le, the program's director, is the sweetest person - she kind and thoughtful; she has a soft-spoken yet authoritative way about her and she addresses any issues I bring up. Ms. Param literally held onto my son and calmed him down for the first 6 months as he was crying profusely during drop off. Ms. Lily is spunky, talkative and always gives me updates on how my son is doing whenever I see her. Ms. Xu, Ms. Star and the rest of the staff are very kind and sweet.I would highly recommend ACME Children's to any parent.”

“This is an excellent Montessori preschool!
The staff is very attentive and responsible, and my child enjoys going there every day.
My daughter has learned to write letters, do math, including adding and subtracting numbers.
The teachers also organized wonderful celebrations for both children and adults, adding a special atmosphere and joyful moments to our lives. Each event was carefully planned, and the children always participated actively, which contributed to their social and emotional development.
I highly recommend”
“My daughter has been at Challenge School belmont campus for 2 years. She is having fun at school everyday and loves the school and the teachers there. From day one, it's been clear that the teachers are not only dedicated but also genuinely caring and patient, which has made a world of difference for my daughter who took some time adjusting to a new environment.
The environment at Challenge School is incredibly nurturing, and it's evident that the teachers know each child individually. They go above and beyond to accommodate different needs, which has helped my daughter build confidence and feel comfortable expressing herself. The daily activities are not only fun but also educational, ranging from crafts and role-playing to planting and even making ice cream! They also had short field trips to the post office to mail their first valentine's day letter!
One of the standout features for us has been the bilingual education. In the Blueberry (2yr-old) class, the entire curriculum is in Mandarin, which has been fantastic for my daughter's language development. As she transitioned to the Strawberry (3yr-old) class, she began learning English alongside Chinese, with dedicated teachers for each language.
Beyond language skills, the school places a strong emphasis on social and emotional development. In Blueberry, the focus was on adapting to school routines and learning self-care, while in Strawberry, it shifted to teaching manners, cooperation, and empathy. It's been incredible to see my daughter grow not just academically but also in terms of her social skills and independence.
Overall, our experience with Challenge School has been overwhelmingly positive. We've watched our daughter blossom in ways we couldn't have imagined, and we owe a huge thanks to the wonderful teachers and staff who have been instrumental in her growth. If you're looking for a preschool where your child will be nurtured, challenged, and supported every step of the way, Challenge School is an excellent choice.”

“When we moved to the area, I consulted a few early childhood education and development experts from Stanford to find the best play based program I could for my son. Playschool was at the top of the list. Seeing my son's growth and development over the past two years, I can see why it came so highly recommended. While he started off shy and quite he has grown into a confident child who loves to play with his school friends and comes home excited to tell us what he learned that day. He has grown so much, personally, socially, and academically. The class sizes are small and the teachers are so loving and creative. He will be heading off to kindergarten this fall completely prepared for his next adventure. Our daughter starts this September in Playschool's two-day program and I am confident her experience will be just as positive as her brother's.”

“My daughter has spent 2 years at PCC preschool and I will certainly miss this hidden gem of a school! Not only is the campus beautiful, but it is overall an amazing place for little ones! It has been so great to see how much my daughter loves preschool and how much she has learned! I love hearing each day about what her job was, where they played, what their focus was and what the snack was! The teachers truly care about the students and it has been a great experience. I can’t wait until my baby is old enough to attend!”

“My second daughter graduated from VLP in June 2023 after attending for 3 years. The staff was very kind and my child enjoyed going to school every day. Our oldest daughter also attended since January 2018, so our family has been a part of VLP for 5.5 years.Besides the regular class activities, the school offers gymnastics programs, etc., which I believe is a very good environment for the education of children. Our family is especially grateful to VLP for keeping the school open despite the difficult circumstances during the Pandemic.”

“We spent one lovely week at Safari Kid while visiting the area. Our child (almost 3 at that time) had never been to preschool, so we were a little nervous about how things would go. We had no need to be worried—the kind and warm teachers, the fun atmosphere, and the slate of interesting activities on offer ensured that our kid loved every day of her visit. Months later, she's still talking about the teachers, friends, and activities she encountered there.”
“Country Day Little School is a truly unique and special place. It is a Waldorf-based school that is kind to children and parents alike, has patient and wonderful teachers, and is accommodating of every child and parent's needs. From the moment you walk through the doors, you feel like you are part of something bigger than yourself. The teachers and staff are all so welcoming and supportive, and they go out of their way to make sure that every child and family feels included. The Waldorf curriculum is truly unique. It is based on the belief that children learn best through hands-on experience and through the arts. Each day, the students at Country Day Little School spend time working in the garden, preparing and eating healthy/organic/nutritious snacks, and even growing their own vegetables or baking their bread. They also have plenty of time for free play and social interaction. One of the things I love most about Country Day Little School is its focus on social skills. The teachers teach the children how to resolve conflicts peacefully, how to be respectful of others, and how to work together as a group, steeped in developing good manners with the teachers often using their wonderful voices as persistent tools of persuasion and compassion. The school also does a great job of maintaining order and decorum. The teachers create a calm and nurturing environment where the children feel safe and respected.I highly recommend Country Day Little School to any parent who is looking for a Waldorf-based school that is kind, supportive, and focused on the whole child. Every child and their needs are unique and CDLS demonstrates that reality and takes into account these unique and special needs at every step of the way in a patient and loving way.Overall, Country Day Little School is a wonderful Waldorf-based school that provides a unique educational experience for its students. The Waldorf curriculum is focused on the whole child and helps children to develop academically, socially, and emotionally + without screens/media (which is both rare and important for complete and unassisted growth and development).I am so grateful that my child has the opportunity to attend Country Day Little School. It is a truly special place where children can thrive and learn to their full potential.”

“I love Sunnyvale Christian School! I know my daughters are safe and loved. The teachers are all hard working and dependable. Most of them have been at SCS for 10-20 years because they have a passion for teaching and a love for the kids. If you are looking for your child to grow academically and spiritually this is the place!”

“I would highly recommend this school, my baby started here when he was 6weeks old and he love the place, teachers are very caring and very supportive, I love the way my son likes the teacher, I would like to tell all the teachers and aids are awesome here, thankyou. I am very sad to pull my son out since we are moving back to our native, still when I come back I would love to send him back here thankyou ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️”
“My son has studied in this school for over three years. He loves the teachers and enjoys going to school everyday.Kudos to the teachers and the principals of this school, I have seen him improving his academic results. He also demonstrates good citizenship, which the school fosters over the years. We would love to recommend Mrs. Pak in 2nd grade and Mrs. Z in 4th grade. I remember during Covid, Mrs. Pak has to deliver the class home. However, I can still feel her passion and dedication. Mrs. Z is very warm and loving. The students see her as a trusted advisor and love to share things happened outside the classroom with her. The students see her as a family and hugs her very often. Finally, I would also express my appreciation for the principal of the school: Mrs. Ramyaa. Right after Covid, the school re-opened. There were so much anxiety among the parents and students. The principal stood up in front of the school every morning to welcome the students. She really leads by example. I am not surprised that the school will flourish under her leadership.”
“We love CPSC! We decided to send our son here because so many of our friends’ children attended and loved it. It’s a loving environment with curriculum-based learning and just the best teachers. We are better parents because of the advice and community that CPSC provides.”
“This is our son's second year attending Odyssey Preschool. He started when he just turned two years old. We only speak Mandarin at home with our son, so initially we just wanted to find a bilingual school where teachers could speak Mandarin with our son to make him feel more comfortable and to ease him into preschool since he's never had any prior experience with any daycares or caregivers other than his parents. We were so lucky to have met Ms. Jing from Class 5. She was always caring and patient, and soon became our son's favorite teacher. Our boy came home singing new songs, telling us new things Ms. Jing has taught him. He's also brought home many creative crafts and artwork. He seemed to be having such a great time at school which is all that mattered. He also learned more discipline such as waiting his turn, sharing, and doing more things on his own. Even after my son has moved onto the next class, he's still excited to go back to Class 5 to visit Ms. Jing. Nothing makes me happier than seeing our boy having such a strong bond and trusting relationship with his teacher.”

“Holy Cross Preschool is amazing! My daughter loves it there and is excited to attend every day; the preschool space is spotless, the teachers and staff are very welcoming/helpful, and emphasize regular communication/parental engagement in person and via the BrightWheel app. When we met Miss Chris for the initial tour, I immediately noticed she takes her job seriously and takes pride in directing the preschool. This was important to me and one of the top decision factors for us.
Since my daughter has been enrolled, we have noticed advancements in her social, emotional, and language development. I highly recommend Holy Cross for your little one(s)!”
“My daughter is blessed to be attending her second year at St. Joseph and we intend on staying throughout 8th grade. I've always wanted her to attend a Catholic school and after spending just one year with St. Joseph, I am positive that it is one of the best decisions I've made for her yet. St. Joseph's community is so inclusive that we feel like part of one big intertwined family, regardless of grade. Not only is my child thriving academically from extremely attentive teachers, but also, she is being guided to uphold morals and values that I truly feel are helping her grow into a kind and successful human being.School faculty are constantly looking for new ways to improve and asking for feedback from parents, truly showing they care! Mrs. Placencia, Mrs. Usis, and Mrs. Holmes have been incredibly kindhearted and attentive to all of our needs. Every morning we are greeted with warm smiles and positive energy. After school, my daughter is ecstatic to tell me about what she learned and how much she adores her friends and teacher Ms. Villagomez. Now that we are on summer vacation, my daughter is counting the days until back to school! Cannot recommend this school enough, I am confident that my child is in extremely capable and loving hands. So proud and grateful to be a part of this wholesome learning environment. Thanks, SJMV!”

“This is such a wonderful "hidden gem" preschool. Play-based curriculum with a very low teacher-to-student ratio, an extremely loving staff, and an engaged parent community. They have recently expanded their hours and are offering a full-day program starting fall 2023. Highly recommended! (Note: the preschool is affiliated with the attached church, but it is not a religious school.)”
“De Anza KinderCare is top-notch if you are looking for a daycare. I started my 2 year old here and he loves it now. It was rough starting off but his teachers were so caring, and attentive. They made sure he was comfortable and ensured it was a safe space. The flexibility during drop off has also been helpful. The meals are nutritious and they provide a variety. My son has now been speaking new sentences that he learns from his teachers every day, and he's also made new friends. Only thing I wish is sometimes they need more teacher coverage, when someone is off sick but that's understandable since we are now living with COVID being endemic. The best part; they teach kids to be independent little humans - like put the plate away after eating, cleaning up your mess, etc.”
“My daughter, who's just three years old, began attending Au Petit Mon and incredibly, in just three months, she's already starting to pick up some French. It's not merely a matter of magic, but rather a testament to the love, care and hard work that goes into their everyday activities. My little girl is content and progressing rapidly in this environment. I highly recommend APM!”
“We could not be more thrilled with LACS!! Our son has been enrolled there since Kindergarten and has had incredible teachers all along the way. The environment in nurturing and vibrant, the campus well-kept and the instructors and staff are top-notch. Our son is so excited to go to school each day! He comes home talking about his amazing friends, what he learned, etc. The school events really help build community, and we feel very connected with other families in our son's class. We could not have found a better fit for our family and for our son. Highly recommend LACS!!”
“I am thrilled to share my experiences with my son’s preschool, which has been an absolutely wonderful environment for him.The teachers at this school are truly outstanding; they are not only knowledgeable but also incredibly caring and attentive to each child's needs.
The TE curriculum is rich and varied, ensuring that children are not only learning but truly enjoying the process. My son’s enthusiasm to attend every day speaks volumes about the positive atmosphere and the fun he has with his peers.
Socially, it's been a joy to see him forming strong, healthy friendships. The preschool fosters a warm, inclusive community where children learn to play and interact with each other, which is crucial at this formative stage of their development.
Overall, this preschool has been a fantastic choice for us, providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where my son has flourished. I couldn't be happier with our decision to enroll him here, and I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a place where their child can grow, learn, and make great friends.”
