“Hands down the best place for Carne Asada and Pollo Asada! I won't go anywhere else. Plus, there's a great selection of other Mexican food like chips and salsa, taco meat, fresh vegetables, and pantry staples.”
“This location is layout just like their La Puente store although I'm not sure if they are owned by the same person or is a franchise. Besides beef, seafood, chicken, and pork, the market offers everything you'll need for grilling outdoors, including charcoal, salsas, tortillas, and spices. They even off wagyu from Japan, Australia and tomahawk ribeye's. I've visited this location twice and have taken home USDA prime marinated carne asada and tried their chorizo sausages made specifically for grilling. The butchers and customer service gals here are friendly and accommodating. As for the quality of meats, I was impressed with the packaging, leanest, and the quality of all their proteins. They also offer yummy salsas that taste homemade. The prices are higher but in exchange you'll receive the top-quality cuts of meats and are superior to the grocery store chains. This along with the La Puente store is now my go-to stores for proteins when I'm going to grill. Definitely give them a try, you can thank me later.”

“Everything I have had from TMC has been the best…I have been a regular here since the day they opened.
My go to is always the prime filet (which my boys really enjoy as well) but I change it up and go with the grass fed ribeyes, black opal wagyu, prime NY, porterhouse and once had one of the large tomahawk steaks.
My boys and I also love the filet burgers and TMC smokehouse burgers.
The staff is very knowledgeable and make great recommendations.

“Excellent place to buy your meat if you're planning to have a party or a gathering. The meat is already marinated. I bought a little bit of everything to last me for the whole week. I found out about this place through family every time my daughter used to come over she would bring this amazing meat and we will have a barbecue I will ask her, Where this place is at. I visited a family member and I was around that area so I stopped and I'm so glad I did. Best meat.”
“I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now and every single time I walk in there every single employee is so nice. The first couple of times I thought they were just having a really good day (since sadly you don’t see that level of customer service elsewhere) … every single time I step a foot in there, I feel so welcomed. Almost like a family feeling like they’ve known you for years. I was born and raised in Mexico and it gives you that feeling of being back home going to: “La tiendita de la esquina” it’s almost nostalgic. “So I placed an order for pick up and my friend went to pick it up for me since I was sick. The order was sent over and done in a matter of minutes and he goes over to pick it up. Well he’s sitting there for longer than normal so I call and speak to Joel to find out what’s going on and he immediately gets working on it. I give him the order number and less than 10 minutes my friend is pulling up in my driveway order in trunk. Lol lol. I had accidentally put the order under his name since he was picking it up but Staters was on it and had him loaded up and back on the return trip home in a matter of seconds. Only difference is the burritos came with more ingredients like avocado, sour cream etc.. it also came with chips on the side.. now it's just a burrito with meat, cheese, rice, and beans, still good just not the same. Please bring back the side of chips and atleast the avocado in the burritos..”

“Thank you stater bros for the amazing cake for my son’s 1st birthday! It was beautifully and perfectly done! My only critique was the filling, I asked for berry compote and it tasted like jelly out of a jar not horrible! Just would’ve tasted better with it handmade. But the frosting, the cake, the decorations was perfect!”
“I am a Stater Bros customer for at least 30 yrs or more I love this SB on State College I have always been treated very well and have never had a problem with any of the employees . If I ever needed help with anything I was kindly helped. The only thing I noticed is that the young baggers need to be trained on what items to bag together keep cold items together not with canned items and don't put too many heavy items in one bag it s too heavy for an older person to carry if someone comes in with cooling bags don't put cans or non cold items in it. They just need to be trained that's all. I love all the cashiers and deli,bakery,produce employees too,some I know by name,thank you Tina,Alicia,Anthony, Dave,just to name a few and I have to say that the current store manager is great!!

“Always, a good, clean experience at this location of Stater Bros. The shelfs are always full and the employee's are very nice and knowledgeable. It's a very clean market and the butchers in the meat dept. are polite and funny also, they like to banter with you and can answer any meat related questions. They also make sure to open up more check-outs if there are lines. Prices aren't bad either. Parking is plentiful. And if needed they will assist any shopper with disabilities or
elderly people. This is so nice.”

“They are quick . Do not be in a hurry to turn around from the end of the street. First check in with them and ask how to back up. The parking yard in front of the building is also theirs so you can pull inside that yard and back straight up which is way easier. If that option is not available, be really careful while making a U-turn from the end as the cars parked would be a real pain and most probably you would have to find their owner and have one or two cars moved as there is no other way unless you can back up on a tight spot from blind side”
