“I was desperately trying to find somebody to re-cane a beautiful mid century chair that my cats had torn to shreds. I searched high and low, and couldn't find anyone to fix it, until a vintage shop in Atwater recommended this place. I am so excited and happy that they did. I brought my chair in and they gave me a very reasonable estimate. The owner and the people that work there are very friendly, but more importantly, they do amazing work. My chair looks absolutely stunning! It looks exactly like it looked before my cats got to it. This place is amazing!”
“My most favorite art supply store in Hollywood, CA. Great selections and many suppliers from all over the world. Their service is also so great and they let me try some pens and markers. I bought their arches paper 30” x 22” and made art of my drawing and with posca and golden high flow that I tried at the store before I bought. They also had a great clearance area where I managed to find some Schmincke soft pastels for $1 a stick, just WOW! Nice Velour papers and plenty of pastel pencils to choose from. “Parking: 6/10. Limited street parking around the block. We were lucky to find a spot right in front of their store! Items: 10/10. As a stationary lover, we spontaneously decided to go here after eating around the area. I loved seeing an assortment of fine art textured paper sourced from various parts of the world. Wonderful selections for scrapbooking, journaling, paper invitations, and anything else you can think of. Gary was a chill guy who told me interesting details about the papers I selected. Affordable pricing for quality paper. Atmosphere: small shop yet packed with all sorts of paper varieties. Hours are limited which can be inconvenient for some folks.”

“Even with the new law forbidding retail of flavoured vapes, this is one of THE finest smoke shops. Unfortunately, they had to get rid of all of their flavored material (& I will never forget this place for having every Flum flavour imaginable... the good old days, at this point). However! They have a thousand other products even outside of smoking culture & habits, like supplement blends, CBD gummies at different concentrations, a middle compartment (a glass case) of pocket knives (some are like, really cute), body jewelry including nose hoops/studs & hoop earrings, sodas, INCENSE in great quantity, and more! I even saw, behind the counter next to the cigarettes, some product called "stop opioid abuse." It might be some type of product to help wean patients off the use of opiates, which is huge. The employees here are always so amicable & chill. I've never waited in a line longer than one person, & the employees are so welcoming that you just naturally get into conversation with them. Still one of my favourite smoke places ever! So neat, clean, & organized! Thank you!”

It's one place out of two handfuls of Art Department and Special Effects suppliers IWS purchases from and although IWS doesn't get to visit in person for picking up Make-Up and Special Effects Supplies often IWS thinks they are the best in the business because it's been a family business for well over 30 years in motion pictures and television. Among the various supplies IWS stocks up on is mask latex, Silicone, Epoxy Resin, Gelatin, Clay, Bandages, Ultracal or Gypsum Stone, Lab Tools, brushes, straps, and more equipment and supplies.”

Taking time for myself, and winding down, and getting creative with Art work type projects to have a certain look in my home is a pleasure for me, most especially when our California rainy season hits. So, I gear up with wooden projects that I incorporate with paper. I typically paint on card stock and canvas however, sometimes the artwork I find on paper is exactly what I could have imagined painting. I will show an example.”

Pens, markers, paints, brushes, plates, papers, canvasses, metal thread (for jewelry making), beads, alcohol inks, press printing, etc... also easels.They have a small book section for ideas and inspiration.They have crafts for kids, as well as real artist level materials.They have adorable gifts, stickers, games, and fidget toys. “Decent Michaels location, nice shopping center with its own free lot, not the easiest to navigate, but still. The actual store is nice, big, well stocked, pretty easy to navigate. I am not a crafty kind of girl, but I enjoy browsing, see what's new and shop for home decor or photo albums (yes, I still buy those!). I needed a vase kind of a container for a small project and it was easy to find. Nice customer service, better than other locations, no problem using their coupons. Fun place to shop at!”
