Even though there's been times where I've gone there to make a purchase and their system was down and they couldn't sell anything or other times where the store was not open during hours of operation, I have had excellent customer service Experiences every time. The most recent was yesterday when I visited the store to purchase additional paint and Ryan was so patient and doing a color match for me and then another canned that I needed it which they didn't have in stock for him to locate at another location and tell me that he could actually drop it off first thing tomorrow morning on his way to work as I am two blocks away from the store customer service at its finest! If you want extremely cheap products they will have a variety and if you're willing to spend a little extra they have it all as well. John is always helpful and assists me with situations I come across. Never have been upsold by them and are always going out of their way showing me the differences in brands and products and how I could cut my costs down to be able to work on more cars. “DUNN-EDWARDS PAINTS in Encino is easy to find and easy to get into. They have their own free parking lot with plenty of available spaces.The people are friendly and helpful, but did not hover. I was able to take my time choosing the right shade of "white". Boring, I know, but I was surprised by how many there are.I was able to narrow down my choices and take home the card samplers to show my contractor, who was then able to get small samples for testing.Very convenient. My project is done and I am very happy with the way the color turned out.Now that it's time for another painting project...”

“I am not a pro auto painter but have painted a few cars a year for the last 20 yrs(a few motor cycles and some spot repairs) all i can say is they have done a great job matching any color that i have needed including custom pearls metalics and pastels. They have very good prices and good service.The only complaint i would have is sometimes they close a bit early if bussiness is slow so just call ahead if you are going to get there close to closing time. I highly recomend them if you have a hard to match color or just need common body shop supplies.”

“I just had the best experience at this store thanks to Edward.I wanted to paint my entire apartment for the first time, but had no idea what was the best store to buy paints. I was trying to choose between Ace Hardware, Home Depot and Lowes, when a friend of mine recommended Dunn Edwards and I'm so glad he did because I couldn't be any happier with the color and sheens I selected. “I like to support mom & pop owned stores. I'm not sure about the mom & pop owned part but, this is NOT part of a chain. I could actually spend hours inside this little gem of a hardware store. They have a little of everything and of course, all of the stuff one goes to a hardware store for which I call "grown up stuff" (nails, screws, paint brushes, THAT kinda stuff). The man that helped me was great, he was knowledgeable and helpful but, left me alone so that, I could wander the aisles and buy stuff I didn't even know I needed but, now can't live without. I highly recommend North Hollywood Hardware.”
