“This review is long overdue. I have been using Gateway pharmacy for my mothers prescriptions for at least 4-5 years?? The staff has always been very professional and kind in person & over the phone. Leo has always been and still is my go to guy for anything I may need help with. He's always very patient, and willing to go above & beyond to help!. Julio is also great in assisting me when needed. Let me just say, the whole staff is great. I would highly recommend this pharmacy to anyone who loves great customer service and is looking for a good pharmacy for themselves or their love ones. I am particularly impressed by the professionalism and knowledge of Vacaville Pharmacy & Wellness Center. Each time I visit, Nikola takes the time to clearly explain the purpose of my medications, possible side effects, and helpful dietary advice—such as what foods to eat prior to orally taking medicine. This level of care demonstrates a strong commitment to patient well-being and trust.
The pharmacy itself is also exceptionally clean and well-organized. The shelves are neatly arranged with medications and vitamins in proper order, making it easy to find products. The consultation area in the Front is spotless, reflecting attention to both hygiene and comfort.

“This pharmacy is wonderful! They are always very helpful and go above and beyond. Recently a medication for my son was changed and insurance would only allow so many to be filled at a time. Sean the pharmacy manager talked to the insurance to find out what needs to be done to allow a full month to be supplied at one time and submitted what insurance has requested. He is monitoring it to see if they have accepted the information sent and will only a 20 day supply to be issued. I am so grateful for his assistance in getting this resolved. Wonderful customer service!”

“This is the best pharmacy that I have ever gone to. The Costco discount for members brings down the price by 90% for some prescriptions when compared to Walgreens prices. The prices are the best and the staff is completely knowledgeable. The turnaround time is very fast from when the pharmacy receives the prescription to when it's filled.”

“I’ve been shopping at this store for years and, having temporarily had a Costco membership as well, I can say that it’s much better to shop at Sam’s Club. The customer vibe here is a lot more friendly than other places. The staff are also very helpful if called upon.
The technology at this store makes it better than any other place that I’ve been. They don’t only have self check out, they also have an app that allows you to ring your stuff up as you pick it up off the shelves. When you’re done shopping, you can pay through the app, and there’s this new thing where you walk through something that kind of looks like a metal detector and the person at the the front doesn’t have to scan your items most of the time. Now they’re just looking at the instrument in their hand to see if the machine registered your items.
The gas here is usually cheaper than anywhere else in town. Sometimes the line is a bit long, but if you come later in the day or early or in the afternoon, it should be fine.”

“My experience here was ok. I've only been here for the Covid vaccines. The first shot was ok, I just remember my arm being sore. I didn't like that they didn't give me an option of what vaccine to use but heard others suggest what they wanted. Luckily, Moderna wasn't a bad choice for me. The second dose took me out the next day but was fine after. I liked how their online system would email me when I have an appointment or need to schedule the next. They even sent me an on phone proof of vaccination. So for my booster shot, a reason I took off a star plus the no choice for me of vaccine, was that I came early and sat inside. I have trouble enough already for walking yet the nurse giving the vaccines didn't not acknowledge me and when it seemed like my turn I just pointed out I might be early for my appointment. She then told me to check in at the line outside which is what she should have done once I walked in but then going to a long line to stand in made me irritated because I wasn't in my wheelchair, I had to stand with my walkers support makes it difficult for me. Another lady came to help check people in which sped up the line but it seemed like I could have just waited where I was in the first place because all she needed to check someone in was the name and their ID. They were unorganized about where they wanted people to check in or who to check in because I would see new people walk up and they would speak to them when there has been others waiting in the so called line. I spoke up for some people saying they were first while I waited my time. Anyways my booster gave me a headache that evening and the next day I was so weak I just rested and was fine the next day.”

Spent a month of headache dealing with CVS not being able to figure out how to fill Rx for twin son (same DOB different name). Within a day of switching Rx to Safeway Pharmacy they had an override code for our insurance & prescription filled with no issues ever again.”

“Staff is great! Helpful, always efficiently tries to do/grab what you may need. Conveniently has a lot of parking. Area outside and inside are clean. I feel safe late at night or early morning. Shelves are often bare, I cannot consistently find the same item on a regular because stock is so low. On everything, across the board. So have option B or C in mind when running in.”

“Great prices and the nozzles can reach either side of most cars so you may not have to wait to get gas. Getting in and out of the lot can be a bit tricky on busy weekends. Place is always clean and well lit. Sorry no bathroom services or quick snacks are available but great for a pre trip fill up.”
