“If you are going to get married in the greater LA area, this is where you want to do it. My wife and I had the pleasure of getting married here at the end of September. John, the owner, was a delight to work with. He accommodated all of our needs and requests and was more than happy to help anytime we had a question. As far as the actual venue itself, it's beautiful. It's got multiple areas for your entire wedding. We did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception here. Don't think twice about booking this place. You will not be disappointed.”

“The Pantages is a beautiful venue. I am disabled and need to use a walker at this time, so I was very happy that the parking was close and easy to find. They also had several accommodations for disabled people, which was refreshing to find. In addition, I think you can see well no matter where you are sitting. The only negatives are the lines are long for the women’s bathrooms and to buy refreshments during the intermission. That happens wherever you go, unfortunately. If you haven’t been to the Pantages, I highly recommend it. It has that old Hollywood beauty.”

“Had a free night and were looking for something fun to do. Found a comedy night going down at The Glendale Room which was like 2 blocks away from the hotel. PERF! AND $5 a ticket!?! Can't beat that with a stick!! Such a fun cozy spot! Saw a show called Stuffed cabbage stand up with up and coming comedians. They were all fantastic!!”
“On August 16th we celebrated our daughter’s quinceñera at Adela banquet hall, everything was great from the planning up until the big day. Joseph was great to work with and great at helping us with referrals for entertainment, Photo Booth, bartending and any questions or concerns he was always readily available.
The venue was beautifully decorated, the food was definitely a hit amongst all of our guests. Claudia and Marwan the managers for the venue were very attentive to our guests and provided great hospitality for all our guests as well as helping the night run smoothly!
DJ Evolution was easy to work with and played a great variety of music. Sweet and sour bartenders were top notch mixologists.
Overall we would highly recommend Adela banquet Hall for your next special event.”
“I hadn’t been to Skirball Center since I attended a memorial over two decades ago.
Wow, this place! I was here to assist with delivery of a giant display piece, and I am so impressed. You can really tell a lot about a venue from the way security and customer facing staff treat the tradesfolk. I would always want to have my events here - every single person was warm, thoughtful, and friendly.
The next day I attended the charity event as a guest and got to wander through a few of the exhibits (I’d have gone to more). Beautifully curated, and I stumbled into an absolutely gorgeous room of watercolors with the friendliest, most knowledgeable docent I’d ever encountered.
Skirball Cultural Center manages to be elegant and grand without being overwhelming. I’ll definitely be back.”

“The Garland is the nicest, cleanest hotel we've ever stayed at in LA—everything was spotless and felt so fresh and welcoming. I loved the retro Hollywood vibe—it's charming, unique, and so much fun. The rooms were really nice, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The complimentary trolley to Universal Studios was a total game-changer—super convenient, ran on time, and dropped us right at the entrance. If you're heading to Universal or just want a standout spot in the area, The Garland is perfect. We can't wait to return.”

“We had our wedding here, and I can honestly say it was everything we dreamed of and more. From day one, the team was so responsive, every message, every question, every little detail, they were on it right away. Planning a wedding for over 300 guests sounded impossible at first, but they made it feel effortless. Every part of the process was smooth, organized, and actually enjoyable.
And the food… oh my goodness, the food! There was such an incredible variety every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. The appetizers were perfect, the main courses were delicious, and the ice cream was out of this world. I've been going there ever since I was a child.
I've already done a Maps review on the park with photos and this just popped up to rewrite it so and being there up there today was really nice it's like I'm going back home and you know tons of school buses tons of children it's a great family park with a Japanese tea house with koi fish and turtles and the tons of hiking trails and baseball diamonds and a really nice children's play area and of course the the brand Park library.
And if you take a little hike, you can find the Brand family burial cemetery and Mr brand himself is actually buried in a pyramid.”

I am honored to be a visitor since you must be a member or have been invited. We had a great experience. Bartender on point :) Met some wonderful people as we enjoyed a night cap. “Great stay! Echoing other reviewers, this place is hidden away from Hollywood Blvd by a narrow walkway. My room, chapter 6 was huge for a hotel room, with little balcony porch (shared with room next door and semi separated by two plants). Full of natural light and windows, this is my new fav in town!!”
“Amazing ! just beautiful from the upstairs theater to the art deco bar below down stairs. The people who attend and the bartenders make great drinks ( and bartenders) and people friendly, unlike other legions where most won't give you the time of day if you're visiting. It was karaoke night and was a great time, some Elvis and Roger Miller, Pat Benatar. Looking forward to my next visit when I'm in the area”

“I had the incredible opportunity to stay for 5 nights in the Houdini Estate. It's normally always booked for weddings and events with not many openings to actually book it to stay the night, let alone being able to stay for nearly an entire week. It was an enchanting experience. The grounds are meticulously maintained and feature an expansive walking gardens with waterfalls and gazebo areas in the front, there is an entertaining lawn, an entire hiking trail, a birdhouse styled second house with gorgeous stained glass work, and all sorts of fun mysteries like a hidden bedroom in the main house. And of course, the louis vuitton trash cans are fun.”
“This place is beautiful, safe, and very clean. It offers four different areas to relax and hang out, giving everyone plenty of space to enjoy themselves. There are numerous restroom facilities throughout the venue, and sometimes a food truck is conveniently available on-site.
People usually dress up, and the crowd is generally friendly and respectful. It’s an amazing place to socialize, dance, and spend quality time with friends. I always have a great experience here and highly recommend it. ?”

“Overall excellent experience. The staff were what made this place unforgettable. My son has anxiety with new things and upon getting up on the horse he was frightened. One of the staff took him one on one to teach and calm his nerves. At one point even singing a song with him to settle his mind and get him comfortable. It was one of those moments when you're reminded that warm hearted and caring people are still out there. My 5 year old daughter did a guided ride and they spent an hour with her showing her the animals and answering all her questions. The trail ride we went on was beautiful and fun. At the end, my son not only felt comfortable, but was so excited he did it. It was a wonderful experience and the staff are just great!”
