“A colleague recommended this place for a Kurta to join the Diwali celebrations in proper attire. Not having any clue about Indian fashion, I could definitely use some help. Upon entering the store I was warmly welcomed. I explained what the occasion was and the lady was very helpful showing me several beautiful Kurtas in different styles and fabrics. She explained how sizes are generally 1 size smaller than typical clothing and recommended one size bigger than I would usually wear (large instead of medium). The service was absolutely great, I received many compliments on my kurta at the celebration. I am glad that I went here, this kind of service you cannot get online. I certainly recommend this place if you are looking for Indian fashion for any occasion, maybe especially when you are as clueless as I was. :-)”

“I've had a wonderful experience working with Jackie during my visit. Though I did not leave saying "yes" to a dress, Jackie found wonderful pieces for me to try on. I was lucky enough to have the area to myself with just me and my mom, and they even had a cute custom sign with my name on it by my dressing room. Jackie was very kind and patient. Jessica is truly professional and welcoming to help you through out the dress picking process. The place its self is like a little boutique shop where it provides comfort for customers to take their time to choose the dress. I was able to get some help for alterations. “BRIDES! Stop looking elsewhere for a bridal tailor because Marina is IT. Firstly, as a type-A overworried kind of bride, I'm weary about where to get my dress(es) tailored, and did a ton of research. I read through every single reddit thread that mentions any bay area bridal tailors, and Le Caprice/Marina kept coming up. Then I found out my friend got her Berta dress tailored here and the dress fits her like a glove!! That's when I know, fantastic, I need to take all my dresses to Marina from now on. I first brought two rehearsal/welcome dinner dresses to Marina and she did a fantastic job. One of the two dresses is a mini dress from Katherine Tash I'm obsessed with, but the fit was never quite right. This dress has gone through the hands of two other tailors until Marina finally fixed it for me, once and for all, and I'm SO beyond happy! For example, there was a piece of the lining that was showing on my skirt, and Marina brought out scissors and started cutting the fabric while I was still wearing the dress! You could tell she's incredibly confident because she's competent. For this other longer silk satin dress, she's meticulous, and pointed out details that normal ppl would not have noticed but these details matter: "those hooks on the back are showing! they aren't supposed to show!" I got both of these dresses back only a little after a month and she did an epic job on both. I am coming back for my actual wedding gown alterations in a few months, and will for sure write a happy update with photos after the wedding!! Thank you Marina! I can't wait! :)”

“PSA future brides : go book an appointment with Kelly P! I've literally been running around all over the South Bay to find that "perfect dress" but each & every time, I felt so bad about my body & how the dresses look on me. Although all my friends and bridesmaids insisted that I looked great (ofc bc they're supportive) I would leave 4-5 diff bridal shops feeling so disappointed, devastated and upset about not being able to find the dress that I had envisioned myself in for the wedding day. I'm so glad that I decided to come back to Trudy's for the 2nd time and got assisted by Kelly. She's so warm and welcoming, and immediately made me feel good confidence --- not to mention, we had so much fun!! She took my inspos and went to grab the dresses that I had wanted but also found a few more that she thought would fit my style. After trying on all the dresses from fire & flare, Aline & satin body con, I adored the dress she hand selected for me and was soooo close to saying yes, but after telling her about the wedding venue and the wedding aesthetic + color, Kelly insisted that try back on my second favorite because it would make the vibe better in a more classy way (as Ive mentioned that's what I wanted to her earlier in our convo). She also took extra care in making sure I was 100% confident, gave me tips & pointers on how each dress looked on my body and everything she said was so true. She wasn't pushy or instilled fear in me that I "only have 7months left" and told me to sit on the photos, and come back whenever I'm ready. I'm so glad I did because I ended up loving the dress that she recommended after looking at the photos over and over again when I came home. All my bridesmaids also agreed that that dress was the one! I said yes!! I came back and said yes to the dress after trying it on once more, and I cannot thank Kelly enough for all of her patience and help during the process. She definitely understood the assignment!!”

“I could not have imagined a more perfect wedding outfit than what Anu designed.Being queer, I felt frustrated by the lack of Indian wedding outfit options that aligned with my gender expression. Nothing on the internet seemed representative of what I wanted to wear. It was even harder to shop in person as I didn’t know which stores would be homophobic or which stores would welcome me.Finding B Anu Designs was like finding a beacon of light. Anu’s team was welcoming and made me feel safe. She was able to capture the essence of my vision and transform it into something beautiful. I wanted something masculine but extremely feminine at the same time. I wanted something traditional but also modern. I wanted an outfit that I could feel gorgeous in and comfortable. Anu was able to deliver that and much more.In addition to my wedding outfit, Anu designed a series of outfits for me and my wife to wear at my sister’s wedding. We wanted something coordinating in an obvious, but elegant way. Anu was able to deliver just that with our reception outfits.Throughout the process, I do wish there was more communication during the design phase. One of the blouses came back with a design we were not so fond of. We had voiced this concern to Anu and she listened and responded immediately. She was able to quickly rectify the situation and assuage our anxiety. Anu is always open to feedback and looking to improve.Overall, I am very satisfied with B Anu Designs. She is very talented. If you’re queer and none of the outfits seem to be what you want, you can trust Anu to design it for you!”

“Vicky did my florals for my wedding and she completely exceeded my expectations! Im typically type b, and have a hard time making concrete decisions. When it came to my overall floral aesthetic, i didnt know where to begin. Everything on Pinterest looked so beautiful. I sent Vicky my mood board and let her take the wheel - let me tell you, she 100% delivered. We discussed my budget and decided that silk flowers would be the best choice. I was a little hesitant and afraid it would look cheap, but it was the absolute opposite! Dont get me wrong, of course up close you can tell they aren't real. But you can tell her product is of great quality. When i looked at my venue in whole, i couldnt even tell. The florals photographed so beautifully! Im glad i trusted her with the decision to go this route to save me a pretty penny. Vicky was able to work within my budget to bring my vision into reality. I cant be more grateful of the turn out. Just got my sneak peeks in and im swooning over how everything looks.”

“Shawna was the preferred vendor for The Ranch at Silver Creek with Wedgewood Weddings and I definitely can see why she is their preferred vendor. Shawna was extremely easy to work with and she captured my vision so beautifully! We rented wine barrels from an outside company and she just made them look fantastic! My bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets were stunning and everyone complimented on the flower choices. Thank you for all your help and making our vision come to life!!”

“Went prom dressing shopping with my daughter here after going to Windsor first. Wow, all those who complained about lines and dressing rooms, you won't if you went to Windsor first! Yes there was a long line, but they have a zillion dressing rooms and were really nice. I liked that they didn't restrict the # of dresses you could take in and it was a much more pleasant experience with a nice three-way mirror and interior room you could come out and show your dress to your party without being in the middle of the store. The dresses are much more upscale than Windsor, and were priced like it. But if you look there are still some in the $100-range, plus they have an entire wall of 50% off dresses taking them down into that price range. They also had a lot of shoes, purses, and accessories. Minus 1-star because there was no one on the salesfloor offering to be helpful, and then there was only one person at the register which took a while. So there was not a lot in the way of customer service, I would expect more when buying $500 prom dresses. (Luckily we found one on sale so got a high quality dress for Windsor price) And there are no returns or exchanges, but they will hold items.”

“She's the best 5* I bought my dress at Elegant Lace two years ago. Due to the pandemic, we had to postpone our wedding until this year. I was able to finally wear my dress but I would not have been able to wear it without the magic of JUST MY SIZE . My dress didn't fit the way it did 2 years ago but she worked her magic and I was able to wear my dream dress. She added lace to the back and made my dress look perfect on me again! JUST MY SIZE is the the place to visit if you want someone with experience and who will listen to your needs and make them happen. “How can Max Mara have anything less than 5 stars?! I went here to get a gift for a friend who is a big fan. The ladies here were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and insightful. They actually picked something that they looked up and found my friend already owned. So I ended up getting a different gift for her. Vanessa actually helped me find a dress that I was initially skeptical about, but it turns out it's absolutely stunning. I will wear this dress for years. They have incredible helpful touches like foot booties and heels to try on with outfits in the dressing room. I'm afraid to admit this, but with quality and service like this I will be coming here more often. One must face their fears bravely. Their cut of silhouette is also remarkable.”
