“Quick and easy. Full service, smaller size. It used to be a Walgreens. Needed one item, asked the front desk where it was located. Went to the clean, uncluttered aisles and got my item quickly.”

“Excellent neighborhood hardware store. They have a good selection of items and friendly staff who are always ready to take the time to help. The shelves are well organized and knowledgeable staff provide good information. They make keys. Plenty of parking available. Feels great shopping here unlike some warehouse style stores where you can get lost roaming the aisles unable to find what you need.”

“I went to Olander to buy fasteners for the first time the other day. It was one of the best stores I've ever visited. They are super friendly and helpful. Karl, who helped me went way out of his way to make sure I got exactly what I needed. He was patient and knowledgeable. I just can't say enough about what a good experience it was. They have all the things I needed that are impossible to find anywhere else I've looked in Silicon Valley. The prices are very reasonable and they are happy to sell small quantities of anything you don't need a whole box of. Go there next time you need fasteners--you'll be glad you did.”

“The folks at Sunnyvale Lumber are amazing! I came here after being recommended for my Eagle Project. They cut the wood down to size for me even though that is wasn't one of their standard sizes.”

“I needed to pick up some fertilizer and other odds and ends for the old and new place transition. A hyper and friendly lady helped me out to pick some stuff. Really happy that I got the help I needed, this place is super big and packed mid day! haha. It's like the place to be for DIYer's like myself. Happy! Enso forever! “I want to give a massive thanks to Andrew in the plumbing department for stepping forward and helping me out with cutting some pipe I had bought at this location. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.Other than Andrew, my experience with this location was very poor. I called ahead of time to ask if there was someone working today who knew how to operate the pipe cutter. The employee had the worst attitude and knew nothing about the store or what products were available. He sounded incredibly bored and gave me more dramatic sighs than actual answers. When I arrived and was asking around for help, the employees were extremely unprofessional and dismissive. There were a couple huddled around making jokes about their genitals and acted as if I was interrupting when I asked for help. Nobody even knew the location had a pipe cutter. Fortunately Andrew walked by right at that moment to help another customer and I was able to ask him for help.”

“Took bid on Water heater replacement. The service rep was excellent with options and suggestions. Did not hire as I received several bids. $$$$ was the main, but I'm an HP member, shop here weekly .”

“For a big chain store, the selection for a DIY homeowner is much better than its main rival Home Depot both in variety and quality. The inventory control is good, if an item's listed as available, it has been available as far as my experience goes. Can't say the same about the other chain. Service is acceptable for a big store, my expectations isn't high there.”
