Really bad customer service and old storage facility. First, we couldn't complete the rental online due to some bogus explanation, had to drive to the office. Second, we were supposed to return locks from the storage unit we didn't intent to use. Third, the put renters insurance on top of the contract although we do have coverage from our home insurance, Fourth, the initial storage unit we were offered had water leakage marks. Fifth, we tried to provide proof of insurance in person at the Fair Oaks office during working hours, but no one was around. The storage facility itself is very dated, first floor has a smell and each unit has rodent treatment packages.

This location is dilapidated, disgusting, and run down, and the service attitude was absolutely terrible. My girlfriend had to listen to a very disrespectful site manager Taslima berate her even though her reservation made weeks ago was not honored by the company in the first place. They also failed to disclose the broken elevator situation which made moving in to a higher floor extra hard, and on top of all that, the bad attitude from the staff made this entire process so bad that I would go out of my way to ABSOLUTELY NOT recommend this location to any reasonable person looking for a somewhat okay storage option. How this place has such a high rating on Google Maps almost makes me lose faith in Google reviews lol

Great experience & great customer service! Taslima provided me with the best service, she is super polite, helpful, very knowledgeable & super great energy. Going in after work was definitely worth it ?

Hard to recall a good experience here other than proximity when we needed to move a while back.Our unit(and others) have been broken into, at least twice. The elevator has been frequently out of service. Despite the sign on the door stating full-service assistance, I've never found a representative on-site, the site is usually dirty and smells. There is no access to a restroom.They frequently have pricing "adjustments", increases, while providing no additional value or service.Anyway... not a good experience and we have emptied our unit and closed our account at this location.

Me and my wife rent a large unit that whole 2 bedroom and we had a hard time getting anyone to talk to about the unit and once we got into the unit, it was dirty with trash still in it. My wife said let's go somewhere else but I said since we here let's just wait until someone clean it. Then my wife needed to use the bathroom and it was lock then she said this is unbelievable, everytime we go to this location the bathroom always lock and there is no body around to ask why is it lock. I will not recommend this location to anyone, A terrible place to rent a space. Also, there are trash up and down the hallway, these sorry people's don't even keep the place clean. We have decided to move out very soon. Not only this is a trashy place to rent a space but it is a Rip off.

I booked on line and there was 1 month free but they did not give .not only that local manager said we don't have follow Public storage 800 No .What you talk at 800 No. which provide by public storage, local manager will not follow .Be very careful with these people. Do not not trust .

It's unfortunate when a company doesn't value a former customer's opinions. I've always used public storage but this is the first time I've felt unappreciated for my business. As you can see in the photo I provided, I scheduled a move-out date on September 18th and did so accordingly. Once October hit, I was being charged for that month. I had a conversation with the property manager about the fact that I left my lock that I had purchased from them thinking they might want it back. This was my assumption. Her rebuttal was trying to explain how they could've known that I did in fact move out; turns out some people schedule a move out through the app but then don't actually move. So she made the assumption that I didn't actually move out. If she has had this happen to her in the past, couldn't she have simply given me a phone call to verify that I in fact did move?? That would have been appreciated! Instead, she too MADE AN ASSUMPTION and decided I had not moved and waited until the next month for me to continue being charged. My question to them is, why in the world do you have an ONLINE check out process if you're going to ignore it?! I paid all of my payments on time since February of this year. All I asked was to receive one credit for the amount they were charging me for ASSUMING I had not moved out. And if this happens to you which I hope it doesn't, don't anticipate a swift customer service response. Given these unprecedented economic times, you would think they would appreciate their customers a bit more...well all I can say is that I will be one less customer they have to not appreciate because I'm definitely not utilizing their services. To you all, I recommend finding another storage facility where they care about their customers and have someone on site that could have answered all these questions to avoid this entire situation...

This location has no onsite manager anymore and has suffered three mass break-ins over the last two years and they have made the location less secure after the thefts by removing on-site management and failing to improve the cameras. Customer service also failed to offer any recourse or make things right. I do not recommend this location.

Lindsey is awesome!!! She made a special trip to meet me at the East Weddell location to open my unit, at which time the hapse was warped to where I wasn't able to lock the unit. We went back and forth to the office and located a hammer. Lindsey was able to hammer the haspe back into position so that I could finally secure my unit. It looked as if the lock had been crow-barred in another attempt to break in and also the PS blue lock broke the key. Luckily my own lock was intact and I was able to use it after Lindsey re-aligned the lock/haspe. It was an ordeal, yet Lindsey was always in problem solving mode, as well as professional and affable. Thanks Lindsey!

ZERO or negative stars, a total abject failure. This place hasn't had a working elevator in weeks, hasn't replaced missing hand carts in months, and the location manager doesn't have clear answers on when anything is getting fixed. Oh, and they raise the rates every couple of months, and the manager is never present, so safety is definitely an issue as well. Beware folks. I'm moving out this week up and down 3 flights of stairs at this place.

Would rate in negative numbers if I could. Rented unit in September, added stuff off and on until mid October then went out of town and didn't return until just before Christmas. Found entire unit had been sorted through and hundreds of items stolen including electric piano, two mt. Bikes lots of tools. The management here couldn't care less. The local police were called and took a report, but they never followed up. Even though we called several times. DO NOT STORE ANYTHING HERE YOU AREN'T WILLING TO LOSE!!! In moving our stuff out I talked with 2 other people who both had stuff stolen from their units here. No one monitors the video footage. No one checks on anything here. It makes me wonder if the owners aren't the people doing the stealing.

Pls don't support this Public storage site, it's the worse! It looks secure because it's in a building and you have a code to get in, but don't be fooled. Our storage has been burglarized 3x already and management hasn't done anything to secure this facility. Only camera is in the front, none in the hallways. We're not the only one that has been burglarized here... there's lots of people. Getting our stuff out of here...whatever's left. I'm hoping it's not an inside job...I believe in karma...I hope you thieves are reading this. These items are my brother's who passed away... how can you do this to him and people who are grieving? Heartless bunch of assholes.
