They also allow customers to test bikes in the parking lot. The staff is great, friendly, and amazing, always there to help. The bike staff, in particular, provides outstanding service, ensuring everyone is taken care of even when very busy. The store offers good deals, sales, and discounted Basement prices, with an additional 10% off everything available through a one-time fee membership. This makes it a great way to shop for quality stuff. While the store has plenty of parking and is easy to get to, the checkout can be very slow with long lines. Sports Basement is the best sporting goods shop in the Bay Area. I'm often able to find items that I'm shopping for, which makes it easier to support local. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are competitive, especially with the Basementeer discount. Also a good place to rent gear.
