“I stay in Huntington every time I come down and visit from Vegas. This is always my first stop on my way in. We love the owner and his store. He goes out of his way to take care of us, and it’s nice just to catch up with him when we get into town.”

“Place has what you need. Average prices. Don't believe the bad reviews, it's just a liquor store. It's in a safe neighborhood unlike some others around Long Beach.”

“Food - 10/10 the pizza was delicious! Unfortunately when we came he didn't have much of the sandwiches because he sold out fast. I will definitely be back to try the other stuff. The drinks were good as well! PB&JAY protein shake was filing! And the Romeo and Juliet mimosa was sweet and savory! Service - fast, friendly, and efficient Ambiance - I love the ambiance! Indoor and outdoor seating. Love the decor inside and outside as well!”

“FUN LUNCH ! Gee it's been a few years since we've been up in this neck of the woods. My wife and I decided to ride our bikes along the Huntington Beach boardwalk on Sunday. That meant loading up our eBikes on the tow hitch bike rack and driving about 30 minutes to Huntington State Beach. WHICH WE DID ! We arrived at a state run parking lot and paid $15 to park my wife's Telsa Y all day and as the parking attendant said.....we could come and go as often as we pleased. It had been well over 10 years since we rode bikes around here.....almost everything looked unfamiliar. Of course we were hoping to find a cafe or something where we could stop for lunch. WE RODE ! There was not much going on so far as eateries on the beach...the Ospreys were gettin' a free feed. After about 9 miles we saw in front of us a ton of eBikes parked outside a lively looking spot in the middle of nowhere....we were now at Bolsa Chico State Beach my wife informed me. My wife lived at Sunset Beach as a teenager and knew this area very well. There was certainly more than a few people here enjoyin' lunch and hanging out with a beer. LET'S DO IT ! It was almost 2.30pm when we squeezed our 2 eBikes into a small vacant space in front of the fence. I went inside to check out the menu...lots of stuff incl burger & fries which suited us fine for a late lunch. LIVE MUSIC ! I noticed a stage tent was set up and it looked like the band was getting ready to crank it up. I checked with my wife about us gettin' burgers & fries..no prob ! I fronted up at the cashier window and a lovely cashier named Patty took my order for 1 x [#9] CHEESEBURGER & FRIES ( Beef Patty, Cheese, 1000 Island Sauce, Lettuce, Onions and Pickles on a Brioche Bun with a side of Fries and 1 x [#8] BOLSA BURGER & FRIES ( Beef Patty, Cheese, 1000 Island Sauce, Bacon, Avocado, Lettuce, Tomato, Onions and Pickles on a Brioche Bun with a side of Fries ). I paid by credit card and Patty gave me a ready buzzer. VERY IMPRESSIVE ! It was pretty busy inside the fenced confines of Beach City Provisions but we managed to nail a couple of spots at a bar height table with a view of the band. WHAM BAM ! The ready buzzer went berserk within 10 minutes and I headed over to collect our lunch order. LOOKIN' GOOD ! To be honest I wasn't expecting anything too flash but our burgers & fries looked darn good ! In fact there was a guy set up selling craft beer and more at a table close by....I don't drink and ride. PRETTY GOOD ! We enjoyed our well made burgers...fresh top quality ingredients. Gee whizz the huge fries looked hand cut and tasted great. THE BAND WAS PLAYIN' ! The band was playing some great classic rock and doing a bloody good job on a lazy Sunday afternoon. I met up with Luis the owner and told him this felt like a beer garden at an Aussie Pub. WE LOVED IT !”

“One of the best places to have authentic thai food in orange county. Great flavors. Been here twice and the experience has been great both times. The house made coconut ice-cream is the best.”

“Came here for the coffee with little research aside from the star-rating… and ordered the breakfast burrito on a whim. Did not expect to be BLOWN AWAY by how delicious and incredible the burrito was. Top 3 breakfast burritos I’ve ever had. Make sure to ask for some hot sauce, too. It’s an interesting cross between the consistency of Cholula, just the right about of chipotle essence, and the coloring/ stabilizing flavor of molé.Wish I’d taken a photo but honestly wasn’t going into this planning on reviewing it and got overtaken by the flavor experience lol. Next time because I WILL be back!!Parking: Semi-limited number of street spots depending on the time of day you go and the delivery schedule of surrounding businesses”

“New Trader Joe's in my area. Excited for this new location because it's closer to me. However the flower selection is not as good as the ones in HB. Perhaps because this location is still new. I'll give an updated review in a couple months. I'm sure they'll be a lot better then.”

“This place just opened with new owners and I truly enjoy their food! I've ordered the breakfast burrito multiple times and their roast beef sandwich. The breakfast burrito is soooo good. I constantly crave it! The roast beet sandwich was pretty good too. Great ratio! The lady who cooks the food is super sweet and has a great energy about her. Definitely recommend this place! Grab food to go and go to the beach!”

“This is the place 2 go for your alcohol beverages. I go here for the shots!! Majority of the shots 50ml size are .99 cents. Don't worry they have big bottles & medium bottles too. Big beer selection too.”

“Very interesting store and very informative staff who will tell you the story of "Uncle Nearest" for as long you are able to listen. I am not a drinker, but the story of the man who taught Jack Daniel's how to make whiskey is another story of black excellence that is not known to the wider public, and has been buried in the sands of time. Just like "Hidden Figures" it is a story worth pursuing.”

“Great shop with an amazing selection. Prices seem very fair. And Sam, the man behind the counter, has a wealth of knowledge and insight that you should certainly take advantage of. I will be back!”

“Great place to stop in for your craft beer or extensive wine selection. I enjoy the variety of single tall boys of seltzers and hard kombuchas. Sometimes I'm craving just 1 and it's nice to have that here. Bill is great and always helpful, asks about my day. Mario is phenomenal too and always in a good mood. This is a great place for snacks, ice cream, and even a slushie!!! Great stop just before the beach prices sky rocket!”

“What a great experience. We went on a Sunday. No wait. They do have lounge areas if you do have to wait. Our instructor was Asa. Very friendly and helpful. We went on a couples date and had a lot of fun. It is very loud. They do have ear plugs if you need them. They have some snack foods and some drinks with limited alcohol.”

“I went here for a business meeting with someone I was meeting for the first time. We both were amazed at the quality of the fish. Just on look alone, it looked like what you would see at a high priced sushi spot. They have 50% nigiri, so salmon is like $3.99 for 2 pieces. Tuna is $4.50 for 2 pieces and the most expensive is Otoro at like $15 for 2 pieces. Typically, a 50% off sushi sign would terrify me, and I would be lying if I said i wasn't skeptical the first time I went here but I assure you, the skepticism will be long gone after you see the sushi hit the table. It tastes incredible and it was so good that after going my first time, I went again 2 more times over the course of the next 2 weeks. This sushi spot is 50 minutes from where u live in Santa Monica and I plan to absolutely return soon. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND”

“My dad was a baker so I grew up with the most delicious European breads and pastries. I recognize well baked goodies, and at The Corner Market they bake the best sweet good's I've tasted since I was young. Fresh baked gourmet bread and pastries every morning. The coffee is excellent smooth and strong. I usually get a tuna sandwich on a croissant, but I've also had the avocado toast and that is the bomb. Seriously, so many good flavors They sell wine and super interesting Health drinks like kombucha and healthy energy drinks. The family who owns the corner market might have some Italian in them. From the cold case, you can buy freshly made meals such as spaghetti and meatballs (so I don't eat meat often but I will sometimes eat one of these giant meatballs. I just wish it came with a little extra of that Yummi tomato sauce) there are always a few options of freshly prepared meals in the cold case, that are ready to take home to heat and serve. The service is always superior with happy workers and a cute little patio outside where you can sit and enjoy your meal. This little gem is a home on 11th St downtown Huntington Beach that was converted into a little shop long long time ago. Many people tried opening up a little shop there but they all busted. I think Corner Market has been in business there for at least 8 years and is thriving because they have what it takes to make happy customers.”

“I just left a review for the vape/ tobacco store next-door, and thought I had to leave a review for this liquor store. It’s by far the best liquor store in the area. They have a great selection and give good reviews if you don’t know what you’re looking for. They are always super friendly and keep great hours. Never thought I would say this about a liquor, but I am really going to miss coming here ?…I’m moving next week.!!!”

“We had a experience here! We were on fam vacation and looking for a quick post-dinner wine tasting. Our bartender created three custom flights for our crew based on our individual preferences! We also ended up buying a bottle or two from what we tasted. Prices were perfectly reasonable and it was a lovely outing! Would def recommend.”

“They have a beer section that has a lot of different beers from many independent breweries. Best thing is you could buy single cans or bottles to try different ones. Worth checking out.”

“I grew up in this neighborhood. When Steve(the original owner) was running the store. I'm pretty sure he knew my siblings and I by name. We would save quarters and go play arcade games and buy as much candy as we could. He was so kind, he would sometimes allow us more candy even if we didn't have enough money. I have been there recently, and the place hasn't changed much, other than his grandkids running it now. It looks and feels the same. People at the register always have a smile and are very nice. This place will always be one of my favorites.”
