Employees are usually friendly and helpful, store is clean. Reason for a 4 star review is because the selection of products has really changed since a few years ago, used to be able to find almost anything there, I feel like i often need to make an alternative choice when I need something for a project, especially in the screw and nail section. But for the most part I really like the store.

Can we first talk about the customer service happening in this store!!! Talk about above and beyond! Went in to grab a few boxes of Christmas lights (which were on sale might I add) and was greeted as soon as I walked in by a young man. He also led me to the lights even tho I could see them. Asked me some questions and made sure I was ok before he went to help someone else. Even sold me on some light clips. I’m from Redding and pass through Susanville often so I will be back again!

Love the huge selection of Yeti cups and colors. The prices are only $5-$10 more than buying online from Yeti!

The power was out yesterday and I needed some flash lights batteries and a few other essentials. I wasn’t sure if they would be open but they were. An associate walked me to what I needed and got me out without any problems!! Thank you for being here for the community especially in times of need like a power outage.

Wow! What amazing customer service you can get here! The staff seems to be more friendly than about a year ago. Looks like all new staffing and that lady that sits in that chair is gone. She was always talking bad about the staff and management when I would come in. Bad for business! These people seem like they love what they do and made me a priority. I pop in and out of town and visit Ace every time I’m in town. Always have what I need and at a reasonable price for a small town. Keep heading in the right direction! High five to the staff

I had a fantastic experience at Ace Hardware thanks to Alex! She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and kind from the moment I walked in. I had a few questions about some tools and paint supplies, and she took the time to walk me through everything with patience and a great attitude. It’s rare to find customer service this genuine and attentive these days. Alex truly went above and beyond—she’s a real asset to the team! I’ll definitely be coming back because of her.

This is an excellent and much needed hardware store in Susanville. They have ample staff to assist customers and the selection of products is comprehensive.
