The drink I received was luke warm with no foam which is unfortunate because the espresso was actually very good.As they were making my drink, I could hear them talking about how terrible a job they did on the milk steaming.For $6+ would have expected much better.

I'm grateful to have Choc-O-Latte in our community. They have great drinks and food, but best of all their staff are friendly and helpful. I've also had the opportunity to sit and chat with the owners from time to time. I see some reviews here that lament the price and/or the lack of a drive-thru. This is an independent and locally-owned business. It's not Starbucks. You pay for what you get, and the quality Choc-O-Latte provides is well worth it. Also, if you're at all familiar with Sutter Creek, you'd see that a drive-thru is not at all practical.

Disappointed with my visit. We got a gingerbread muffin which was ordinary. We got a berry scone which left a lot to be desired. Cashier was new and had to ask someone who roasted there coffee. A lot of questions. Do not think that I will be returning with all the other options available in Placerville.Food: 3/5

The staff here are wonderful, so friendly and efficient! The baked goods are beautiful, delicious and go nicely with coffee or tea.The outdoor seating is good, the atmosphere inside is charming and cozy.Kid-friendliness: The staff was patient and accommodating to our small children.

Extremely friendly service, amazing coffee atmosphere, ordered two large mocha coffees came out to 17$. Larges are size pictured.Pro is an amazing atmosphere. Coffee is so good and distinct flavor unlike Starbucks. All the options in the world for flavors.Con is the expense and no drive thru.

A beautiful café nestled in downtown. The sweet smell of coffee hits you right as you walk in. The barista was very helpful is suggesting drinks for us, I ordered the Choc-O-Latte & a Carmel apple spice tea for my grandma. Our drinks were brought out quickly & the barista even brought the drinks to our table. The Choc-O-Latte come with a chocolate rolled wafer cookie, which was a nice little treat! The cafe closes relatively earlier for a Saturday, 4:30, so make sure you arrive with plenty of time.

I was wowed walking in at how cute the whole place was! I ordered a coffee cake muffin and an iced white mocha like I get anywhere. This place makes their coffee strong and perfectly sweetened. I didn’t have to ask for an added espresso shot in my drink. It was exactly how I make it at home so I was outstandingly surprised! This place is way better than Starbucks!I got an artichoke feta egg bite quiche. Very good.I live a little over an hour away and will definitely come back with company.

Rude girls ! We asked to refill the water dispenser and they were chatting behind us about how come we didn't buy a bottle of water , even though they had cups and a water dispenser available to customers....
