“This is the first time that we stayed there since the remodel, so it's been a few years. Everything was perfect, except for one. The bathroom has a concrete floor with a very slippery and shiny surface. Some texture on the floor would be nice, since I slipped coming out of the shower. Ironically I was coming out of the shower to get the cloth mat to put down. Doh.Rooms: The remodel was done well, very elegant and time period specific.Nearby activities: There's plenty of wine tasting, and a farmers market across the street on the weekends.Walkability: Sutter Creek is small, so everything is within walking distance. There are other wineries that are a short drive to as well.”

“We stayed here as a quick get away from home. Location is excellent to explore Jackson Old Town. Rooms were clean, beds and pillows comfortable. Hotel has great charm. Warm and cozy. Highly recommended.”

“This place is a hidden gem. They have breakfast and let me tell you it was amazing. The staff was so friendly. I met the owner and his wife l. They are such a nice couple. This place is a nice boutique hotel with beautiful decor. My wife and I are planning to stay here. Please check out the local shop and wine bars.Walkability: There are local shops restaurants and wine bars near the hotel.Noteworthy details: Cute quiet and this is a historic building with a ton of character.”

“Beautiful place, very nice and clean. Staff was nice, store is a good vibe and open layout. Only complaint is the prices are a little steep I think. We will return but maybe not as often as we thought. Great fish planting program and lots of areas to fish.”

“We live nearby so there was no need to ever stay; however, family and friends visiting us state this place is awesome. Whelp, unforeseen circumstances forced our family there late one evening. Shenandoah Inn was a pleasant relief in the madness we had going on. Jesse, the front desk attendant, was amazing and helpful. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable. We ended up having so much fun, our boys said we need to do it again just for fun. We highly recommend!”

“We had a family function and the rest of the family stayed at this hotel, my wife wanted to stay here with the rest of the family. I had read the reviews and I wasn't satisfied on what I read, I actually wanted to stay somewhere else instead. I did understand my wife decision and thought it was not going to be a great stay.I was totally surprised and the 2 nights we stayed everything was wonderful I had no complaints.. I have stayed in many hotels, the Holiday Inn express is not my top pick, usually because the walls are paper thin and you can hear the next door tenants conversation is my biggest complaint, This particular hotel is probably the best I stayed in of Holiday Inn express for a long time..As of the breakfast it was great and the front office was superb with a sweet pretty gal ( Emily) who made our stay wonderful.. thanks so muchA+ job”
