Their service is extremely difficult and poorly manage. My package had to travel all the way to Los Angeles before it was finally delivered to my PO Box. The envelope was in Santa Clarita, went to LA and back to Sylmar. What’s the point of paying for services that they don’t guarantee! Always late, missing or wrong mail. No accountability. D.O.G.E please investigate!

Usps needs to do some major improvements they constantly make mistakes and won't take accountability for them either! They rarely answer the phone and won't call you back cuz they found out they made a mistake by delerving to the wrong address! This happened at least 3x with packages once was lucky that they actually answered right away and was able to retrieve the package and deliver it back to the correct address! I really don't like this place they need to make changes asap or take the time to read what the address and street say so it gets delivered where it should be

They never answer the phone and whenever amazon has them handle a package that i ordered from amazon they miss handle the delivery more times than they get it right! Idk why some of my purchases come from usps if it were up to me I would never do business with usps it's always something literally then I can't even file anything online it's says try again later always!

Terrible phone tree, doesn't give you the option to speak to a person. The mail carrier is nice though. Thank you Gerson for always being friendly and helping me get my package!

Our mail delivery sucks. I had a large check from my 401 k that was never delivered. Now I am out of my medication that was mailed to me a week ago by Kaiser. I get other people mail all the time. They used to take pride in their work. Now they just don’t seem to care. I have complained to our post office but nothing changes

Awful place. Rude staff. But the worst is the mail delivery to my area serviced by the Sylmar PO. We have a centralized mailbox with about 60 individual mailboxes and parcel lockers on our property. Mail is frequently lost because they put it in wrong mailboxes, or they put the key to the parcel locker with your package inside in someone else's mailbox. Waiting for your packages or mail is seriously stressful. You just never know if you are going to get your package or not. And after you call them to let them know that you just got the notification your package was delivered to the parcel locker, BUT you didn't get the key to the locker, they just tell you that someone will call you back. They won't call back. In the meantime, the person who got the key to the locker with your package, takes it, because some people are just not honest.neighbors

Your lazy ass mail person keeps put mail from 5 different addresses that aren't my address in my box just because they don't want to deliver to correct addresses.

I had a really frustrating experience at this USPS. I went in to drop off a package, and when I realized I needed to tape the return label on it, I started doing that at the counter. The lady at the front desk was incredibly rude about it, telling me I was “holding up the line,” even though there were only three people in line and three employees working the counter. When I apologized and explained that this was my first time using the service and didn’t know the label had to be taped on, she didn’t offer any help or guidance. Instead, she just snapped that I was slowing everything down. I get that it’s busy, but there was no reason for her to be so unhelpful and dismissive. The lack of basic customer service was really disappointing, especially since there were plenty of staff available to assist. Definitely not the kind of experience I expect when visiting a postal office

This post office has always been good about getting back to me on any customer service I might need. Also Rebecca provided great customer service specifically and was very patient with a less then patient customer. I've heard stories of other horrible post office, im glad the sylmar branch and it's employees are my local ones!

I shipped a package here and they treat me nice. The place is clean. The line wasn’t long. There is plenty of parking. Angie even helped me with my packing. You can even get a taco after you’re done. Gotta love that.

Everytime I get a package delivered, it is either torn or smashed. Today I was not pleased at all with my delivery. I don't see how these delivery drivers mess up that much. It looked like it got tossed around or stepped on before being delivered to my door.
