“I first visited Beverly Wilshire because I was invited there for a meeting with a potential client, back when money was very tight for me. Just eating at the restaurant was financially difficult. After I finished the meeting (which got me my first client), I tried to pay the valet and he refused to take my money. He said I didn't need to pay because I was a VIP. Not only did he help me, he did it in a way that made me feel good about myself when I needed it. I've come back to your hotel for several meetings since then because of how much that experience meant.
Everyone in the restaurant and valet is so wonderful. Thank you very much for many great experiences.”

The five-star hospitality started before we even arrived. The upfront communication from the hotel was fantastic. The concierge reached out to confirm our check-in time and sent over a curated list of local restaurants and nearby Malibu activities. This proactive approach took all the stress out of planning and made our trip effortless.
Outstanding Staff & Personalized Check-in
From the moment we walked through the doors, the staff made us feel completely at home. A huge thank you to Marisol, who cheerfully checked us in and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. The hotel even arranged a couple of thoughtful anniversary surprises in our room that my wife absolutely loved (and definitely made me look like a hero!). From that point on, the entire trip was pure bliss. Every single staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely focused on making sure we had a wonderful stay.
Unbeatable Location & Breathtaking Views
You cannot beat the location of this property. It is perfectly situated right on the water and is incredibly close to top-tier restaurants and great shopping. The oceanfront view from our room was simply unbelievable, and waking up to the sound of the waves right outside your balcony is an unforgettable experience.

Whether you are planning a romantic anniversary trip, a parents' weekend getaway, or just looking for the premier oceanfront hotel in Southern California, I cannot recommend the Malibu Beach Inn enough. Incredible views, a perfect location, and an amazing staff make this a 10/10 experience.”
“This was the second time returning to this hotel as my husband and I really loved the location and proximity to the ocean.
Unfortunately, my husband injured his back on this trip and we wound up having to stay in the room for five days, the hotel their staff were so wonderful and accommodating, bringing us ice around the clock. They even recommended a doctor to come see my husband and give him some pain management . Will come back for a duo trip as soon as my husband is going up to it. Thank you to everyone!”

“We had an amazing stay, the location is obviously great, we had a very comfortable room with a great view, and the decor was very cool, but the service really made the stay amazing. Preston started our stay with such a great personality and assistance! We felt so well taken care of between his help and Joshua's service at the front desk. Valet was kind and fast. “This was an absolute revelation of a place.
First, the house is absolutely gorgeous, and that living room with its fireplace, where one can sip one's coffee, was a delight. The coffee itself, by the way, was the best I've had in California.
Then there was the breakfast. Dominique, the former ballerina who runs the place, is an absolutely superb cook, and it was without doubt the best breakfast I've had anywhere.
Bonus points: none of the throwaway culture that the rest of California seems to specialize in.
The room was tiny but comfy, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom perfectly fine, and the little balcony a delight.
Absolutely to be recommended.”

“I love this place. It is a 1930s motor lodge that is adorable. More importantly, the staff is kind, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. The rooms are simple but well-equipped. Very clean. A good price for LA. I had a personal problem while there, and they were generous and true to their word when it came to helping me. I am very grateful to them. I will definitely stay there next time I'm in LA. (The beach is a short bus trip away!)”

“From the moment you walk in, you were greeted with warm hospitality and authentic care, always feeling like you are out of five star hotel. Surifel was our first interaction and it was stellar. He continued to make sure we knew that he was happy to accommodate anything we needed throughout our time. Lenny was also outstanding! My husband and I were looking for a place to watch the Super Bowl to see our Seahawks win, and their recommendations were on point. The complementary bikes were awesome and I must do! We rode all the way down to Venice Beach, had some lunch and rode back. The vibes are always on point! Highly recommend staying here for a quick getaway, business trip or just some me time.”

“Casa del Mar is absolutely gorgeous, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. The service was incredible and the food was delicious.
A special shoutout to Brian at check-in. I had accidentally booked the wrong date, and he went completely out of his way to accommodate me. That kind of service is rare and very much appreciated.

“This hotel is just absolutely worth it for the price. Our room was super clean and well made. The bed was so comfortable and I like that they had smaller pillows compared to hotels that have huge pillows usually. I have a walking boot and use crutches, so the fact that the bathroom had accessibility with hand rails next to the toilet and in the shower were pretty great. The staff at the front desk were kind and very helpful when we would enter and leave, and when we required more towels. Lastly, we are so appreciative of the woman was who maintaining the breakfast area. She was so kind and nice, and she offered to help us (and others!) and bring us items to our table. She kept all items stocked and well presented and clean. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m in the area.”

“Traveling from Kansas City, Missouri, where we recently experienced 4 to 5 inches of snow, to California presented its own challenges, . However, my stay at the Hampton Inn Suites in Los Angeles/Sherman Oaks turned out to be the highlight of my trip. The staff, from the front desk to maintenance and housekeeping, provided exceptional service, making me feel welcomed and valued. Despite ongoing renovations, which I hardly noticed, the overall experience was outstanding. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. I would like to give a huge shutout to Mr. Athnasious, who worked the front desk he is a Saint he did everything to make my stay wonderful and I truly appreciate him.”

“Be aware that the breakfast is something very basic, do not expect eggs, cheese, bread. There are cereals, bananas. If you rely on the hotel's breakfast it is better to stay at them and directly go to one of the 4-5 stars hotels in the area. This way you will experience another location, real terrace, etc. Of course, it comes with a price. Call the hotel or email in advance to find out if it's self serve bkfast or a la carte (1st option is better).
Staff friendly, clean rooms. Noise from the outside ? I cannot tell for all rooms, I stayed at a quiet side. Appreciated the 2 bottles with water found in the room. Walking until the beach approx 25 min. You also have the bus option.”

Garage parking is tight, but fine for our hatch back. Extra but reasonable fees for pets, late check out, and parking. Would stay here again as a solid budget option in an expensive area.”

“Great stay. Interesting grab and go breakfast. But I was put on the 2nd floor and there’s only steps. I have a bad hip but was told nothing was available on the ground floor and ignored when I asked again about it. Otherwise the room was clean and the bed was nice. It was a little bit noisy but it was to be expected being on Ventura. Overall good stay.”
