As someone who travels nonstop globally and has exceedingly high standards for any establishment, I have to agree with other reviews: this is by far one of the best hotels on the planet. 100/10 stars. Every detail, touch point, and moment is so beautifully curated and attended to - the Prospect is an oasis and one of the best kept secrets in LA.
Had a phenomenal stay and enjoyed feeling right at home from the second we arrived to the moment we were wished farewell a few days later.
Truly my new go-to for LA and has set the bar even higher for all other places I stay in my travel.

“Booked through a third party app per the LA Marathon website in order to get a wristband for the AM shuttle to the marathon start line. Upon arrival, the concierge knew nothing about any wristbands and offered no help/advice/solution. Of course, none of the volunteers at the marathon expo knew anything either. Asked again later in the day after seeing a different person at the hotel front desk. Thankfully, she knew exactly what I was talking about. She didn't verify if I had booked through the third party website, and just gave the needed wristbands. Would much have preferred to book directly through them if I knew they would hand out wristbands like they did.
Regarding the hotel, it was conveniently located near places in walking distance to eat. It was a longer walk to a coffee shop and Little Tokyo that we visited, but still do-able. Used their shuttle service, and the drivers and valet were helpful and respectful. Shuttle wasn't running on the weekend though. The extra fees the hotel charged amounted to nearly $125 for our three nights. Glad I didn't have a car and have to pay the valet fees. The rooms do not stay cold enough at night. The coffee at their little coffee shop was disgusting. Glad we had just used our complimentary drink ticket on it instead of paying extra. Beds were comfy, and they had a flat pillow among the lot that I found comfortable. I could see myself staying here again, but it wouldn't be my first or second choice.”

“An exceptional stay at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills — one I would return to in a heartbeat.
From the moment we arrived, every member of the team was a breath of fresh air. The energy here is warm, genuine, and consistently elevated throughout. We spent a great deal of time at the restaurant, and the dining experience was equally impressive — attentive, caring service paired with wonderful meals made it a true highlight of our stay.
Housekeeping was impeccable. Stepping out for a few hours and returning to a flawlessly reset room — complete with fresh berries and water — was a beautiful and thoughtful touch that did not go unnoticed.
The concierge team was attentive and resourceful, seamlessly arranging local salon and spa bookings and coordinating use of the house car with ease. The bellmen and valet rounded out a team that is, simply put, exceptional — kind-hearted, professional, and genuinely a pleasure to be around.
I left wishing I could stay longer, and I will absolutely be back. Thank you to the entire Four Seasons Beverly Hills family for making this experience so memorable.”
“Great front desk staff and bellmen. There was an unbelievable amount of luggage in the luggage storage room in the lobby, yet the bellmen kept it all straight - we had absolutely no issues. Great luggage storage management is a must, especially if you arrive at the hotel before your check-in time or need to leave your luggage before it's time to depart the hotel.”
“This is such a beautiful peaceful, colourful and friendly place inside that big big L.A. - I enjoyed this place from the start on. Nice and clean rooms with a little kitchen (coffeemaker, refrigerator, microweave) inside. If I should come back to L.A., I know where I will stay again…it‘s here.

We have been coming to this hotel for a very long time. Every single time I visit Hollywood, if I have the chance to pick the hotel, the Roosevelt is my definitive choice. So, should you stay here? I think you absolutely should”

“I love this place. It is a 1930s motor lodge that is adorable. More importantly, the staff is kind, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. The rooms are simple but well-equipped. Very clean. A good price for LA. I had a personal problem while there, and they were generous and true to their word when it came to helping me. I am very grateful to them. I will definitely stay there next time I'm in LA. (The beach is a short bus trip away!)”

“My room had an ascetic visual appeal. While feeling a little crowded, studio apartment-ish. The service is adequate. It doesn't seem like anybody's thrilled you're staying there. The overall feeling is your presence is being tolerated. At least from the looks received from staffmembers. The pool is small but usable. Kind of cluttered in, difficult to find privacy. And sunlight to find access at times. All in all, a perfectly adequate place to stay if you want to spend $350 a night rather than $500 at a nice hotel. The location is premier. The Grove, The Farmer's Market. I could stay for three months in that position.”

Service is great, atmosphere is great, and the food lives up to the hype! The candles throughout smell AMAZING, would definitely recommend for lunch or dinner if you are in the area!”

Danica in the restaurant is an absolute gem — she has a warmth that makes you feel like family the moment you walk in. The food is incredible, best I’ve had, but the experience wouldn’t be the same without her.
Jaline and Mike on the security team deserve just as much recognition. They made me feel completely safe and at ease throughout my entire stay. You can tell they genuinely care about the guests — always attentive, always professional.

“We had a fantastic stay at The Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles and would absolutely return.
The location is one of the biggest highlights, it’s an incredibly easy walk to both Crypto.com Arena and Peacock Theater, making it perfect if you’re in town for a concert, sporting event, or show. Being right in the L.A. Live complex is convenient while still feeling calm and refined once you’re inside the hotel.
The Club Lounge experience was excellent, and Ingrid there was especially warm and helpful to our family throughout the stay. Her hospitality really stood out.
Another nice perk is the Illy coffee shop located in the connected JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE lobby, which you can easily access through an indoor hallway... perfect for a quick morning coffee.
Between the attentive service, comfortable rooms, and unbeatable event access, this is a wonderful option when staying in downtown LA.”

“Overall had a nice time during my stay. The staff was very nice and the food was good. The location was nice as it didn't take me long to get anywhere I wanted to go as it was in koreatown. I did have two issues. First was the sign in front was blinking which made me nervous and questioned if I really wanted to stay there. Second was the floor in the bathroom was slightly damaged. Not enough for most people to notice but bothered me a bit.”

“UPDATE Jan 2/26: Hotel management resolved this issue promptly. I really appreciated how the Hoxton dealt with the matter, and felt it was important to update this review. Jan 1/26: Bought tickets for the Hoxton’d NYE party (through Eventbrite) and it was the biggest rip off! That place was dead. The lobby area they designated for the NYE party was a small area to the left of the entrance. The second floor room was like a small living room with CSI lighting. The roof had a tiny pool with tables on either side of wall partitions… nothing was happening. Several groups of people who’d bought tickets came in and left immediately. Legitimately horrible. $50 per person for that. Didn’t even get that midnight champagne drink that came with the ticket. They also said they would air drop a free night stay at the hotel for one of the guests who bought tickets… I don’t think that ever happened. Hoxton DTLA… refund me and get it together.”

“We had a very pleasant stay at Super 8 by Wyndham Los Angeles-Culver City Area. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and a great base for exploring Los Angeles. One thing we especially appreciated was the breakfast. It may not be the biggest breakfast buffet, but it had everything we needed to start the day, and we were more than satisfied with the variety and quality.
What impressed us the most was the staff. Everyone worked incredibly hard to keep the hotel clean, organized, and running smoothly. They were always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with a smile. Their dedication really made a difference and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a comfortable hotel with hardworking staff, a good breakfast, and excellent value for money in Los Angeles, this is definitely a place I would recommend.”

Garage parking is tight, but fine for our hatch back. Extra but reasonable fees for pets, late check out, and parking. Would stay here again as a solid budget option in an expensive area.”
