“I’ve heard from close friends for years that I should take my vehicles to Sammy at Auto World Service Center in Temecula. I finally did — and I wish I hadn’t waited so long.

I recently bought my son a used plug-in hybrid from Facebook Marketplace. It had quite a few miles, so I was a little nervous about the condition. I brought it to Sammy for an oil change and a full inspection. He was very thorough, explained everything clearly, and helped me feel confident that the car was a solid purchase.

The oil change was quick, the pricing was fair, and the service was extremely professional. Sammy even mentioned that the deal I got was probably a rare find!

“I wasn’t prompted to leave a review, but after a friend posted about finding Barney’s, I figured I should share my own great experience too.

I found them a couple months ago when I needed a CV axle replaced quickly — nothing fancy, just everyday car-owner stuff. My usual shop kept delaying my parts by several days, even after I took time off work. Barney’s sourced everything locally, had me drop the car off that afternoon, and had the repair done by the next day.

Their price came in hundreds less than what I was quoted elsewhere, and the staff were honest, straightforward, and really easy to work with. Love the small-shop feel and the level of service.

“My car had a constant check engine light for about a year and I needed a smog check to renew my plates.
After checking the error code it looked it was two sensors that were causing the issue so I figured it would be an easy fix.
I went to a highly rated shop in Murrieta and they told me the problem was out of their scope since it was most likely electrical or the transmission - dead end.
They recommended I basically start looking for a new car implying this one was a goner, or that I go to the dealership.
I went to the dealership and after paying an exorbitant diagnostic fee was told it would be about $5k to repair.
Thankfully, I found Consult-A-Tech online through Google Reviews, called them and they told me to bring in my car the next morning.
They ran the diagnostic and told me the sensors were the problem and they would replace them. The total cost to fix was literally less than the dealership diagnostic fee.
This was close to 3 months ago, and the check engine light has not turned on since then and I passed my smog check.
Funny how the two prior auto repair shops were telling me my car was a goner or it would be an insane amount to fix...
My only regret was not going to Consult-A-Tech first, but now I'm happy to have found a local car repair shop I trust - thank you!”

“Took my Nissan Sentra in for an engine light and oil change. I was quoted $230.00 for troubleshooting the engine light and I nearly fainted. I immediately called pep boys and placed them on speakerphone. I asked for a quote to troubleshoot an engine light on a Nissan Sentra. The pep boys rep responded with $90.00. I thanked him. So I advised Ramona tire I will go to pep boys instead. The Ramona tire guy let me know they will match that pep boys price so I decided to let them do the work. I advised the employee I missed my birthday oil change coupon and he said I can have a Black Friday price which was $29.00. So I left the car with them. To make a long story short all the Nissan needed was new oil to reset the engine light. I also received a tire rotation free. When I picked up my car, Ramona tire waived the trouble shooter fee and only charged me $29.00 plus tax so I was very happy.”

“I cannot thank this shop enough. I called around and got a lot of high quotes just to diagnose the problem. I got Keith and he was super helpful. Very upfront with the cost of labor and approximately how long it would be to fix my car. (A/C drain line was clogged) Even gave me solutions if the smell from my clogged line persists. They were able to reclog my line quick, and didn't charge me an arm and a leg like the dealerships. Highly recommend them.”

“Came in as a first time customer to get a nail out of my 1 tire (or so I thought) Mike had me in and out within 20 minutes and took care of 3 tires and even added air to all my tires. There was another office gentleman in there who was having a hard time with an unruly customer. He explained this customers circumstances very clearly and the customer continued to be out of line and disrespectful. (It was obvious the customer wasn’t listening). I was impressed with his ability to remain calm and professional. They seem like great guys in here you can trust. Will be back! :)”

“I should have posted this earlier but I was SO busy cruising in the ride enjoying it like when I 1st purchased the vehicle. Went to this location just for an alignment, (I knew there was going to be more) met Manny and Rio. TRUE PROFESSIONALS DOWN TO EARTH PEOPLE. Told them the situation and that's when I met there mechanic Henry. Know let me tell you, from a mechanic to another mechanic Henry is LEGIT!!! He calls a duck a duck and doesn't beat around the bush to feed you nonsense. See I knew I had multiple issues and I knew what they were. Henry pointed them out, (without me telling him anything) didn't try to sell me unneeded Stuff and got straight to the point. Let me tell you, he turned my 2011 Camaro back to factory reset! I got so used to hearing a noise or feeling some vibration it became a norm. Procrastination and being lazy is what got me!!! Henry turned my Camaro into an EV... (NO SOUND, NO VIBRATION, NO HUMMING) peace and quite and just had me enjoying cruising again!!! Once again from 1 mechanic to another. I APPRECIATE YALL!!! This team over here is the BEST I SEEN IN YEARS! The hospitality, the fact they're not tryin to rob you! They will call a duck a duck and give you the issue to get your ride back on the road! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION and THIS TEAM! I hope this company gives these guys raises and does what ever they can to keep this squad together! They have stayed late to help me get back on the road . I was heading out of state in an RV and needed two tires before I left at 4am. I got there 30 mins before they closed and they told me they would stay late to help me out. I can't say how much that says about everyone who works here. “Great service! Went in for an alignment and said it would be about 80$. They checked and found no real alignment issues, and even asked me other info to get a better idea of why my car was pulling.
