I was charged extra for gas when I clearly filled it back to it’s correct level.
Manager was rude and did not want to take ownership of their mistake and correct it.
Make sure to take several pictures of the vehicle and gas when returning to this location.

Rented from Old Town front st. location
Was a decent experience considering I had no clue what I was doing . First time big house move so I was nervous driving a 26’ truck!
Cam helped me set up my reservation online & great tips in making pick up faster .
Tony was great at pickup — the line got super long behind me but his energy stayed positive & helpful !
Also, in drop off he helped me park the truck just before closing — even found my vape that fell out & ran it to me /emailed receipt && I was out of there !

The most unprofessional and horrible experience ever!!! Anthony failed to complete my reservation. Ignored me and started to help and flirt with a female customer instead. His manager Anthony jokes and gesturing sniffing drugs off the counter top with a pen to get high, both also talk about smoking pot while other customers wait in line. I walked out felling disgusted. I called and canceled the reservation…They charged me a transaction fee…Greedy and clueless!!. I called Corporate and files a complaint. Hope that’s not the U-Haul culture.I would never use this location. Make sure to stay away from franchise locations like this one. search for Company owned. They trained their employees correctly.

Honestly disappointed in their new opening time. As a business owner myself the new opening time at 8am is too late to be accommodated by this uhaul. We have switched our preferred uhaul to the Murrieta location because of this inconvenience. Unfortunate because we rent on average 2 trucks a week from this location and enjoy the staff. However, business is business and time is money.

Dropping off the U-Haul in San Marcos was a bit tricky. There is no U-Haul sign. A little help from the dispatch would be great.

*GARRET AND PATRICK ARE HORRIBLE* I rented a truck out of this U-Haul dealership at 4pm for the following day just for it to end up being overcharged for things that were never stated. The first red flag is when u are renting they will just take ur card info and not let you know the amount being charged. I Asked garret when you guys close his answer was we close at 5pm (the next hour) but just drop of truck off whenever and leave the keys at the key drop off. Come to find out if you do so that's a $20 extra charge. I tried calling to get this charge voided given the fact it was never stated especially when asked to come to find out the other employee lended up speaking to who's name is Patrick is extremely rude as well and I guess is "inexperienced" with the system resulting that they don't know how to void a transaction and won't be able to help me. I guess he was done talking after stating I can call 1800 UHaul and just hung up. After being rudely hung up on and speaking to an inexperienced employee wanted to speak to a manager and the workers simply state they can't give me any contact information to the manager since they only have there personal number. This place is a circus ran by clowns I would recommend renting elsewhere.

This location as small as it may seem Excells in customer service! The team here that I've dealt with have been nothing but professional and kind. They are through with equipment hook up and making sure everything works before leaving. I've been in another location down the street and I'd avoid this place like the plague because of the extreme unprofessional staff from hourly to management. This location is definitely a breathe of fresh air and redemption for horrendous previous customers service. I'll definitely be a returning customer to this location eventhough it takes me more time and inconvenience it's worth not leaving with a bill and a headache. Thank you all staff at this location for being professional and helpful.

Absolutely terrible. Nobody here and no way to get in touch with anyone. I waited outside for an hour, and every time I called the phone number the automatic system told me they would call me back. The one time the system called me back, the message said that the system was down. I ended up returning to a different location, and after sitting outside for an hour, was sadly disappointed to know that they wouldn't refund any of the charges or discount the charges for the rental due to the debacle. I think everyone has a right to have time off from work, but if they leave the office early for the day, why not leave a sign on the door?

Please be honest about availability of trucks. I suspect I was forced to upgrade to a more expensive per mile truck. I asked for an 8’ truck for 2-3 hrs (and saw 4 on the lot) but the employee told me those were all reserved within the next few hours. When I returned 3 hrs later all 4 were still on the lot. Seems like shady business practice to make an additional 0.50 a mile. Have more integrity.

Staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful. The truck was full of dog hair. When I asked to see the final charges, I was told I'll get an email later. The beginning mileage was off, so they overcharged me by a couple of dollars. If they are doing this to everyone who rents from that location, they are stealing hundreds of dollars.

Thanks to Cam and her team, I was able to get a trailer last minute and everyone was very great and nice. Everything was fast and easy with them.
