770 Lawrence Dr, Thousand Oaks“I got married here in October 2023! Sherwood helped gave me the wedding of my dreams. It was truly out of a fairy tale! One of the biggest compliments I received about my wedding was the mouthwatering food. Also, the service was so seamless. All of my guests were super happy, and no one was stuck waiting on food while watching others enjoy.Kendall Newman was such an amazing resource, and really helped make the day special. She's very accommodating and incredibly kind.I can't give enough praise to Sherwood Country Club. Such a gorgeous venue. <3”
“What a unique place for hosting an event, doing a book club, and shopping for beautiful clothes, decor and more. We need more places like this in Thousand Oaks! The options are endless: wine tasting, bridal shower, baby shower, karaoke, employee appreciation party...The owner Meredith has great taste. She's also very passionate about making this a safe space for women to explore their creativity and/or make genuine connections.Check it out and while you're these you can enjoy any of the places to eat within walking distance.”
“I go riding there and board my horse there. I absolutely love it and the community is amazing. Great property, people, and horses. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to board.”

“Pros: my kids have a blast coming here! There is SO much to do! From the trampolines to the various obstacle courses and VR type stuff, it's incredibly fun and will keep the kids entertained for hours. Cons:It can get really busy and can be a free for all. Sometimes, kids can roughhouse, and the staff are all really young and not always on top of it. I'm never one to police other people's children, and some parents are just absent and staff isn't on top of the wild kids. The pricing model is rough. It costs more to go there for the day than it does to get a membership. So they hook you into getting a membership, which you never remember to cancel. And conveniently, you can't cancel when you're there. You have to do it online. And when you do it online, you need your membership number. And who remembers that? So you spend an exorbitant amount of time figuring all of this out to cancel. The pricing model is smart for the business but a death trap of never ending membership for the consumer. I took my kids and their friends and ended up getting 5 memberships, which rolled for 5 months until I finally put aside the two hours to get all of this together and cancel online.”

1712 Newbury Rd, Thousand Oaks“Walking distance of a great strip of restaurants and a few stores. Welcoming and nice place. Enjoy the breakfast but would love to see a little more variety besides breakfast sandwiches and oatmeal. The food is good, just repetitive.Nearby activities: 300 ft of bars and restaurants.”

510 N Ventu Park Rd, Thousand Oaks“Just your average Hampton Inn. We have had good luck with this Hilton brand and this one night stay was no exception. The staff was friendly and on point. The grounds and common areas were clean and well maintained. I did book the spa tub room and man was the whole room massive. The room was clean (we do a complete wipedown since covid) The tub was a bit of a scrunch for me at 6'1" but was relaxing after a long day of photography . The shower had two nozzles which was also nice. We did not eat the breakfast.”
“This could have been a lot more fun. In our group of adults there were four or five miserable young punk kids who's only purpose was to race around and bang other people into the boards. Took a lot of the enjoyment out.”
