“I love Nordstrom Rack, I went looking for shoes, so I had to stay focused. I'm not impressed with today's styles and didn't find anything I liked. I'm looking for the perfect red pump, and from the color to the style, it seems like an impossible task. They did have some unique styles and almost threw me off, but I am hyper focused to find the right red pump, 2" heel, with a strap in back. Where are you?”
“I love this shop. There is so much to choose from and it is laid out in a way that makes it easy to find what you are looking for. I never leave empty handed. The discounts are great which allows you to buy good quality clothes at a fraction of the price. The only negative is that the queue at the checkouts is always huge as they never have more than 2 or 3 open.”
“Erika in the fragrance department at this Nordstroms is the best! If you need help finding the perfect scent or new scents or something for your significant other ask and see if she is working. I’ve luckily gone in when she’s there and she’s helped me on several occasions and provides exceptional customer service and such a great shopping experience.”

“I've visited this new store several times now, and it's clean, spacious and well-organized. The selection of boots is pretty amazing and about what you might expect from a store called: "Boot Barn." They also have a large inventory of both men and women's clothes, including jeans, shirts, jackets, belts, hats and a decent variety of work clothes. Despite the western theme, they also have work, hiking and casual boots, although they don't carry premier brands of hiking boots, like you'll find at REI. But for the casual hiker, they will definitely have what you need. One nice thing about the store is the central seating area, replete with a comfortable sofa and coffee table. It's nice for relatives and loved ones who go shopping with you, who probably don't want to tag along in the aisles. This store is dog friendly, so feel free to bring your best friend along too. However this store isn't perfect and it falls short in some ways. While there are some incredibly helpful, outgoing and courteous associates, such as Stacey and Sarah, many of the other associates appear to be disengaged, less-focused and even a little rude. I caught one middle manager scolding an employee in front of a customer, and another young female associate rolled her eyes behind a staff member's back. A lot of the staff are very young, and they may not have great people skills or maturity yet. Some good customer service training might be in-order for some of the younger employees. Also while temperature is often a subjective thing, this store is uncomfortably warm, during this Summer. Either the air conditioning isn't working properly or management has decided to save a few dollars at the expense of their customers. Walking around a big store while it's warm is no fun. Their selection of products is pretty good, but it's obvious that the store heavily promotes and stocks some brands, such as Wrangler over other brands, such as Levis. This is probably a corporate decision, which is out of their control, but it's nice for customers to easily see and shop for their own preferred brands. I can definitely recommend this Boot Barn location, and with a few simple improvements, it could easily earn 5 stars...”

“I had to go to a wedding recently and had some coupons with JCPenny. It's been over a decade since I've shopped there. It's not because of me. It's really because my wife is too bougie and self important to just shop at a good store. You need to revamp marketing beyond coupons, but not shock your own base. I'm really not here to review your company. I want to run it. This is no joke.”
“I shop at Wildflower often. Everyone that works there is warm and friendly and honest about how their clothing looks on you. The prices are reasonable and they always have new clothes going out on the racks. I never feel pressured into buying something. Wildflower is my favourite boutique in the area and I know them all.”

I observed that the clothes were secured with wires, possibly as a precaution against theft, which was surprising given the upscale location of the shopping center. “Ahhh The Old Navy... The place my wife ensures our credit card still functions at least once a quarter. =) But hey, The way our kids look in their adorable clothes, I'm definitely a-o.k. with it! Going back in time... I remember when I was a youth and the Old Navy first showed up on the scene. I remember getting a NYC hoodie that I always loved to wear. They were always known for having the latest fashion trends, licensed products and good denim. Years later, although my sense of fashion and style have drastically improved, I still find myself finding something I like from here when we stop by for the kids or my wife. And without fail, most of our family photo shoots that we have done over the years, my wife usually will get me a button up shirt from here to match whatever her and the kids are wearing. The Janss Mall Old Navy Location has been in 1000 Oaks for years and seems to be doing o.k. Of course with the online shopping that most businesses have incorporated have seemed to put a dent in the performance of the Brick and Mortar stores globally. Despite the size of this location, they seem to keep it fairly in order and organized. Staff are friendly and willing to help if needed, but It does appear they need a little more staffing. All in All, the kids clothes is where its at! Barbie, Bluey, Spiderman, Sonic the Hedgehog, Fun prints, cool designs, and empowering messages that will make your kid look sharp, feel beautiful and stand confident; The Old Navy's selection continues to stay on trend. If you're a Ventura County local, come out and support your local Old Navy location.”

This is the go-to place for men's shirts if you are in your 20's and 30's because they have all sorts of sizing, even tailored fit if you are on the slender side. Of course you can buy online, but it's worth a trip to the H&M Oaks Mall store in person to be able to feel the quality of the fabrics.”
