“I am convinced Tiburon location is the best in whole Bay Area if not the country.
I had superior experience on a day that could have been disaster for any worker. April 15 is the last day to file taxes, line at the door was a mile away right when John opened the doors with the warmest smile.
I was there with two very young kids to get passports done, not one but two. Seeing John navigating guests through was mesmerizing. Early morning, people with piles of papers, million questions and in rush. John remained calm, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and so professional.
I was in that location for the first time, we drove there for 2 hours in early morning with little kids thinking it’s the only location taking walk-ins for passports. It appeared to be they are not- mistake in the system but John was the nicest about it, still helped us with everything although he was the only person behind the desk.
I was pleasantly surprised he knew majority of guests by the name, greeted them warmly and had everyone in and out of the door in minutes.
His attitude, love for his work and their customers made this experience not only pleasant but unforgettable. He truly made an impact on our family and our whole day. Thank you, John!!!”

“Wonderful service! There is also a self-serve option to scan in your own packages so you can get in and out very quickly. They accept UPS, FedEx, and USPS so it's a great one-stop shop!”

“Carrie is incredible! Totally competent and efficient. She was very personable too which helps when you have too many packages and three kids wiggling all over the place. Thank you, Carrie, for making a daunting task pleasurable!”

“Appears to be small and persistently understaffed, every time I've been there there's been a long line and a considerable wait. Having said that it's perfectly conveniently located and I've never had a single problem with customer service. Every single person I've directly dealt with has been kind, pleasant, efficient, helpful, not working slowly. Doing their best.”

“I went in to this post office today needing help sending a package to a loved one overseas. Demetria did a wonderful job explaing the proccess of how long it would take to get there as well as how to track it. She made the experience really easy for me and I hope to have her help me again. More people with her work ethic and level of care should be hired. Overall a wonderful experience and stellar customer service. Thanks again Demetria.”

“This is a real post office! Tall guy behind the counter was super nice (sorry bro I didn't catch your name). Also fun stuff in there to look at. Jazz music in the background and scented candles are definitely unique to this post office. Cute place.”

“My passport expired and was lost in my move from HI to SF. And I'm lazy and need my hand held. I made an appointment online for all the things- passport, picture, etc. When I arrived there was a bunch of people waiting in line for shipping packages. Once I got to the front, the super kind lady brought me through the side door to take my picture. She took a few snaps, asked me which one was best? I told her they all look the same. She went over my paperwork, had me make a few changes, additions, photocopied all the things (extra charge) and with the swipe of my debit card for $184.55, I was on my way. My passport arrived two weeks later. . . before my birth certificate. It was the most painless process ever and worth every penny. Here's the breakdown of pricing- USPS Passport Fee- $35 Photo Service- $15 Money Order- $130 Money Order Fee- $2.55 Copy Machine- $2”

“Cute, convenient post office with excellent customer service!!!

Judy is ???????

I just registered a PO Box online, and Judy was very patient and kind in providing me all of the information such as what mailing addresses to use for mail vs UPS/Fedex as well as hours. She also provided me a form to do mail forwarding for my other PO Box.

There is no self-service kiosk here. That said, I actually do all of my quickship labels via their website anyway.”

“I feel lucky to have a post office that’s close by. It’s never too busy and the staff are pretty nice. Sure there could be one grumpy worker every once in awhile but who doesn’t have a bad day. I go often to mail boxes and most of the time it’s a solid experience. I always feel confident my mail and boxes are delivered on time which isn’t the case at some postal offices.”

“These ladies have literally gone above and beyond for me with my packages to the UK. I'm sending packages out of country to my partner for my eventual move and they have made sure to make it as easy as possible. I've even gotten tips to make sure my package safe. They've greeted me with a smile, a funny story every single time I go in. People can be pretty awful to the USPS workers, I've seen it in both locations in the sunset but they take it in stride. Cheers to you, ladies! Thanks for making it not miserable sending these boxes monthly ?”

“This is a cute contract post office & gift shop. I can't imagine saying, "a cute post office." But, here we are. The shop is crisp and beautiful; filled with high-end Marin souvenirs I was walking past when I spotted the Mariage Frères tea. I was excited to try a new variety and asked the owner for a recommendation. He gave me some options and let me take them outside to smell them. They were all lovely and I went home with a new canister. If you're in search of Marin swag, this is a good place to look.”

“Warning you will need to go through security on the south side (if you come from the north, they’ll make you walk around outside). It’s located in the basement. Another warning is that there is no signal (or Wi-Fi) bc it’s in the basement, so if you need a QR code, take a screenshot of it beforehand.Celipe (I may have gotten the name kind of wrong, but he’s an older gentleman), was very friendly and helpful. There was no wait either! I was in and out in minutes!”

“My husband and I lived in San Quentin Village for about two years. It's a wonderful community and the staff at this post office are a big part of what made it a special place to live for us. Cendon and Rashida are incredibly helpful, kind, and a pleasure to interact with. They work hard and care about the job they do and the people they help. More than once they went above and beyond for us. They're both genuinely good people and USPS is lucky to have them. We enjoyed visiting this post office - and we miss these two. Thanks again for everything, Cendon and Rashida!”

“It’s a great-looking post office, clearly meant for sending and receiving packages to and from Italy exclusively. In that spirit, it serves as a kind of Italian embassy — offering goodwill through the occasional spaghetti and meatball handout. It’s strewn with Godfather posters and, of course, accepts cannoli as payment.

When Silvio passed away, they flew the Italian flag at half-staff.”

“Generally a very good post office that takes care of lines quickly (mostly because we gays are always on the go and know what we want) and there is a lot of self-service supplies available as opposed to some city post offices where almost everything is locked up or depleted.

My only complaint is the lack of empathy for older clientele who struggle with computers. My client wanted to renew his PO Box and pay for another 6 months and the lady at the counter just kept repeating "ITS PAID TIL SEPTEMBER! GO TO THE WEBSITE!" Well, that's only 2 months away and the rate is $108/6 mo. Why can't we pay for his extension now? And I said probably three times that he gets frustrated using their website. He has renewed this way dozens of times including a few months ago. She could've made our lives a lot easier by processing a basic renewal.”

“I was worried about coming here from reading the reviews, but had a fine experience, the building itself is run-down, but the people at the counter were nice and the lines weren't long (for me, anyway).”

“I’ve had great luck at this spot. Excellent customer service etc. I regularly drop off packages here without a hitch. Gary is especially concerned with doing things correctly, an asset to the postal service.”

“I ship things almost daily for my small business and I have to say -- this is the best, most efficient post office around. And I have frequented many Bay Area locations over the years.”

“Cute lil post office with friendly staff. The man at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Bonus points: It's close to Starbucks and Fort Mason if you want to grab a coffee or walk around.”

“Like most post offices, they're understaffed, but if you go in the off times it's usually quick. Very conveniently located and the staff couldn't be nicer and more personable.”

“when I forget to purchase stamps, forget to pick up small shipping packages or forget to purchase packing tape I can always stop into mill valley post office and get these items there without the p.o. workers going postal on me at all.”

“Postmaster Judy Bartlett went out of her way to correct an error made by San Anselmo post office, and Nicoletta is always very helpful whenever I go into the Fairfax office. Huge improvement to prior experiences with some previous employees, and antithesis of the San Anselmo office, which is terribly hostile and continually incompetent.”

“I don't use use the post office much, but when I have a choice, I use the Terra Linda Station.

Not only is this the closest post office to me, but (most of the time) the lines are short, and the employees are friendly and helpful.”

“Awesome; there was only one person ahead of me in line. I didn't even wait five minutes, and I just handed my mail to the clerk; she was so nice. Not waiting in line for a long period of time was fantastic because I was in a rush to get back home. There was a community wide garage sale in the compound where I live, and I wanted to touch base with some of my neighbors. I purchased some DVDs from the neighbor who lives across from me. I simply like to have the disk just in case some of the movies aren't shown through AT&T ever again.”
