“Brought my 92-yr old mom here and we stayed in an accessibility room. Very thoughtful! The bed was a bit too high for her though, but everything else is just wonderful!”

“Clean hotel. There are stores and other places to eat within walking distance of this hotel. My room was nice and modern. I was only here for 2 nights so I did not check out all that the hotel has to offer. Looks like there is some renovations occurring. Staff was friendly and helpful.”

“Rooms are lovely, super spacious. Great included amenities: mini fridge, big bathrooms, mini bar, ice machine in hallway. Service was solid. Decent restaurant, snacks for purchase in lobby. Room key access needed for elevators. There's not much to do in this location for tourists, so be careful. This hotel is best for business travelers, or those coming for an NFL game, or people visiting the South Bay (Hermosa, Manhattan, Palos Verdes etc), or people splitting time between Orange County sites/events (Disneyland etc) and Los Angeles. For the typical L.A. tourists visiting sites/events in Hollywood, The Valley, Pasadena, Downtown LA etc., this hotel is very, very far from that action. So check your itinerary before booking, unless you want to spend hours in vehicles.”

“I've stayed in way worse for way more. The owners are nice, and you get what you pay for. If you're complaining then maybe you should spend more money on a nicer spot. It's not the Ritz, but no bedbugs or roaches, bed was clean and the shower was hot.”

“I stayed in this hotel during the US Shogi Tournament 2024 and it was a fantastic experience. Easily the best hotel breakfast I've ever had, the staff was very nice, and the location is very close to a lot of good restaurants and things to do. I definitely plan to stay here again if I'm ever in the area.”

“Well after of years of patronage to this location we got banded form the hotel because one of the staff yelled at my traveling partner and shame him for smoking outside the room as other customers were doing the same thing. Thru the years the prices have gone up and the service has gone down. No complementary Bkfs and charging 10.00 for a very grim bkfs is ridiculous. The rooms are not well maintained.Very unfortunate that locations like this go down like this.We did discover a much better Hotel nearby were they do treat you with respect. Sorenta Hotel. Check it out on eated of this hole.I have always stay at this place, I travel to LA for business and this place is in a great area and the service is very nice, even when I have complains they do acknowledge them and work really hard to fix any issues that I may encounter, place is cleaned and looks care for.”

“Excellent Service. Marcus and Vicky are very kind, caring, and enjoy helping customers. So I was very pleased and look forward to coming back. No issues with the room. Accomodations were fine.Safety: Guard on duty. My car was safe in the parking lotFood & drinks: 5 min walk to Flame Broiler and Philly Cheese steak place, and super market.”

“The hotel was clean but dated for alot of things in the room. It was great having a kitchen though for being there a while for work. The front desk was great to help when we had hotels website issues. The pools heater was broken the entire time which sucked because it was chilly when we were there but the hot tub was hot. Will be staying here again.Rooms: The furniture was dated, the couch has Rios and such. The desk chair if you leaned back at all would also go completely backward and was uncomfortable.Noteworthy details: It was great to finish the night around a fire place outdoors.”

“Booked 7 doubles and they tried to give us 7 singles for 13 people. They said they couldn't change it due to lack of rooms. We had to spend the day hunting for lodging for my crew.”

“Most ESA are pretty good, some really nice. This one is terrible. Place is filthy. The lobby and elevator floors are filthy, haven't been swept in some time and the hall carpeting looked like mud, more dirt and stains than carpet. The room was clean and in good condition but smelled funny, think odor from drain in sink smelled like vomit.”

“Easy access to the Del Amo Mall that you can find almost everything.Besides there's a Supermarket with famous Bakery in 4 minute walking distance.Quite nice staffs willingly to help the customers.I'm staying for the 2nd time cause I like the location and the people here.”

2.3 Poor29 Reviews

“The location was good and the staff was nice but this place needs to be demolished and rebuilt. The smoke detector was completely missing, the outlet that the AC was plugged into appears to have had a fire at some point, there are holes in the walls and the ceiling above the shower, there is graffiti on the bathroom door, the bed mattress hangs and droops over the pedestal it sits on. There are NO extras here. No in room coffee for the morning. You have to walk a block to the 7-11 for coffee (or anything). The refrigerator was cool. Large and it worked! There was a working microwave and the TV worked. At night there are so many strange noises it's very hard to sleep. We are going to spend a little more and go to the Hilton down the street next time.”
