“Have stayed here numerous times and each experience has been wonderful. Rooms are extremely clean. Staff at any hour of the day or night is very courteous, welcoming, and kind. Parking is always available and breakfast is very good. Manager named Aram (I believe) was very helpful with any questions of mine. Overall a great hotel.”

“I just had a wonderful stay at this fantastic and tastefully decorated hotel!The hotel is located in a quiet part of the Marina, very close to a many things to do and good places to eat. My wife and I did the bike ride along the beach. I highly recommend The Portifino. Also, booking the Oceanside room was worth it!”

“Stayed here half dozen times. Spectacular hotel including breakfast. Rooms fabulous dining areas fabulous reception awesome. Have drinks nibble nights few hours . Local loved it opposite cheesecake factory. Hired bikes. Parking great too.!! On bottom road of caterlina ip road from Redondo Rivera Von’s super market lovely shops boutique to shop Resturants to eat. Loved new vibes this hotel fresh clean. Helpful staff”

“We went for lunch the day after Valentine's Day. There are a lot of tempting choices but we settled on Mr. Franks chicken salad. Our waiter and Mr. Franks advised us it was special and not very spicy. Well it was fantastic. The chicken was very crispy and not spicy at all. We had Mumm's Cuvée Napa Brut to top off our lunch. We go way back with Mr. Franks from his days at Chez Melange and he spent time with us which we loved.”

“We had a plumbing issue and the kind person at the reception changed our room and we were set. From a one room with no place to hide to a beautiful suite with plenty of space to roam. And it was super quiet and the bed was utlimatly comfy.”

“The room was nice. I would have liked for the outter blinds to close. So my room could be darker when I slept. When I checked in Daniel was at the front desk. He told me breakfast was 7am-10am. I even asked again in the evening. But when I went down for breakfast the next day the chalkboard said 9am. He also told me I could ask for Late check out Monday. But when I asked the front desk lady, she said we're not offering late check out today. The information given is Very inconsistent an that is Annoying. Plus during check-out, he couldn't print out my receipt. But only could do a print out of me being charged for parking. *Honestly I don't see why we have to Pay to park our cars. We have already Paid for our hotel stay. More variety in Free Breakfast would be nice as well.”

“Hotel serves up nice breakfast! Front desk customer service is good too! There is a jacuzzi, swimming pool, fitness center, business center, ice and vending on site! Hotel is located next to lots of restaurants and stores! Rooms are fully equipped with full length dressing mirror, microwave, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, flat screen TV, ironing board, Only downsides is $100 deposit is required at check in! No laundry room! Wi-Fi connection is unstable and goes on and off!”

“Stayed for 4 nights, was a little skeptical at first, after reading some reviews. I'm glad we took the chance on this place. The employees were super nice. The room was really clean. The location was really good as well. For the price we paid we could not have asked for more. The breakfast was ok not a big selection, but for a quick morning snack it did the job. “Overall it was a clean room and had a full fridge and dishwasher and small stove. The pull out couch was broken and we had to have staff come and pull it out. Complimentary Breakfast is served daily and its a good spread with several options. Service was good when you asked for it but it was not consistent with the schedule they set. The cleaning service does bedding once a week with extended stays.however, after the room service, the bed was made but never changed the sheets until I asked them to redo the room. The hot tub was not functional and the pool was not well kept. Parking was another issue. You have to pay additionally for parking at the cost of $20 per day. There is on site laundry facilities at a cost of $2.50 per wash and $2.50 per dry. There is also a small gym as well as tennis courts and basketball nets. It was a nice stay overall with a few hiccups.Nearby activities: It’s located right next to the freeway so there is easy access to all amusement parks within 40 mins with light trafficFood & drinks: There are a lot of food options for delivery and close by. Tomboy’s is directly across the street and they have a great selection of foods including burgers, sandwiches, burritos and more”
