Rooms: Rooms are usually spacious with a pull out sofa and one bedA small kitchenette is also available.Walkability: It is next to the lake, a small grocery store, beach and a cafe is nearby as well .Bike trail around the lake is suitable for bike/run/walk around the lake (~6 miles)

We have stayed at Donner Lake Village many times.Great place to rest and play. Donner lake is Great Lake to swim, ski and sail in the summer. In the winter skiing at Sugar Bowl, Soda Springs and Donner ski ranch are barely 10 minutes away.We highly recommend!

Haven't stayed at the hotel, but the front desk is inside an interesting strip mall idea. Alot of different shops and services offered here. Just be careful google maps took me to the boat launch park next door
